You mentioned you put your personal? Inserts from your previous planner into the A6? Did they hang over at the top and bottom? Was the ring spacing the same, or did you have to re-punch?
May I know what printing paper you use? I’m looking for some fountain pen friendly paper for my diyfish
Great setup! Why don't you just use the back wallet pocket for cash, just like in a regular wallet?
I'm actually doing that now :) The pocket is a bit too deep to put cash in horizontally so I put my cash in vertically. It's not ideal but it does the trick!

Initially I thought an A6 would be perfect for me to have one planner instead of my pocket mia cara and medium compagna. Having watched this I get the fact that it wouldn't work for me as a combo as I'd have issues with coin as there is no zipper or popper pocket. Thanks so much!
Love your removable weekly chart. I haven't used DIYfish for a while but wondered if the files are now editable as you have typed lists on the pages.
The pocket layout of the Gillio A6 has been a big disappointment tbh. But the A6 size has been just perfect for me so I've made it work by carrying a separate coin purse. If you'd like to try an A6 wallet/planner combo, Van der Spek make an A6 binder with a layout similar to the Compagna!
I typed the list on my chart by designing a template to go on top of my printed inserts, although DIYFish does offer personal size daily pages which are now editable :)
I've had VdS and do use one purely for specific work things but not as a planner. I must confess to being a Gillio girl through and through. I've tried the separate coin purse when I used to have a pocket compagna but that didn't work for me. I love my pocket mia as a keep all for cash, receipts, cards and notes etc. I just thought the a6 would combine two into one but now I know it won't for me.
+paperandpink Yes the layout is the reason why I'm not buying a Gillio A6. Even though the leather is magnificent. It's really killing me. I enjoy my VDS TM Senior though. But I don't love it. I'm disappointed Gillio doesn't allow both types of layouts.
Organisedvicar, the A6 Compagna does have a zip pocket for coins, it's on the right side. You can see it here in this video.

+Betty Round Hi! I customised the inserts with Photoshop before I printed them off myself. I have a video on how I did the overlays, and if you do a quick search, I'm pretty sure there are a few videos that show alternative methods of doing so :)
