I'm so happy to see Paco! For the first few minutes he seemed to be missing which made me wonder if I missed an episode with some news about him. Paco is the cutest four-legged member of the family! ☺️❤

Get a baby seat on the bike. I used to take my child bike riding at less than a year old. Hes now 52 and he’s still riding a bike. Only his is a mountain bike. He is in the BMX hall of fame. So bikes have always been his favorite thing.

We used gas buddy back when we first started traveling. The hardest part has to reload the card all the time, and there is a limit you can spend in one day as well as in a week.

I recently cancelled my Anytime Fitness membership (which is almost $70CAD/month) because I've discovered rec centers have excellent shower facilities (this morning I only paid $2/private stall/hot shower/great water pressure at the Panorama Rec Ctr, North Saanich/ie close to Sidney, VanIsle). 5. First time I've seen one of your videos. What about a gym membership with showers?
For us, the membership is a waste of money. But lots of people do it. We had one and didn't use it much 4 years ago when we first got on the road.
Yeah these RVs take our spots. Most of time including rest areas.
We always tell people not to take a truckers spot. It is important not to since we know they are working and have some strict rules about over driving.

Dude, I worked in fast food, and if someone handed me all that change, I totally wouldn't count it and my manager would just know my drawer is gonna be a little off. You are alllowed a certain over and under and a surprising number of people will overpay with 'just keep the change'. Also, might warm youor heart to know how many people pay for other people's orders in the drive through. A LOT. 🙏🏻

Moose Head lake the Indian island. Beach is great. Free. Also Boondockers welcome for safe places to stay. Free. Some folks offer electric for a nominal fee. Places even in Canada.

My favorite donut Frankie, chocolate covered custard filled donut. I get one every Sunday morning at the grocery store, 99 cents. It's a sad statement about our culture when a young person cannot count change. I'm curious, where did you enter into Canada?

Yeah, we’re talking about the hot water being busted. Why not just get a hotel room for the night baby tired you’re tired.
In 4 years of van life, we've never booked a hotel just for a shower. It wouldn't even occur to me. We have our hotel on wheels!
Our camper is extremely comfortable, so there is no need for the hotel room. Plus, I'm the video. We didn't want to pay 45 dollars for the rv spot, so a hotel room would be a lot more money, is my guess.
If we didn't have that bike in the van, we would have been using the shower in our rig. So next time when we have less in the rig, we will be using it.
Loves showers the best. Most flying j or pilots on the east coast have crappy showers.,

Great vifeo, but it seems like the puppy doesn't vet out much ???
He gets out a ton. This just happened to be a time we had to drive a bit. But during this trip, we stopped for 3 days at a friend's house who has 10 acres, and Paco ran a bunch there with 3 other dogs. Some days, he doesn't wanna be out much. We have to make him come out, lol. Especially when it is raining, he hates the rain.
He really just wants to be where we are. Sometimes we take him to the dog park, and he zooms around everywhere, and other times, he just looks at us like can we leave, please.
Go back and watch some of our Alaska travels and our Central America travels. You will see him out quite a bit.

We could, but she was sleeping, and we didn't want to wake her. So we just went in one at a time.
I have seen females who get upset because no one can “watch” their child while they shower. It always makes me giggle. What do some females think mothers did when the dad was actually working in the fields or coal mine all day or night? 😆
I know what you feel like with cigarettes. I have serious allergies. My whole family smoked when I was young. I was ecstatic when MO banned smoking in any public buildings. When my grandson came to spend the weekend with me, he would have an asthma attack, because the restaurant that we went to, still allowed smoking until the law changed. I love what you're doing with a child onboard. ❤

Needing a living wage while inflation and cost of living have gone up exponentially, while the minimum wage has not caught up and has been stagnant for over a decade, has nothing to do with some rando kid not being able to count coins in the age of tap cards, Venmo, apple cash. 😆 Some even in our generation X never learned how to read an analog clock without hands or even seen an Abacus before or learned handwriting. I don't RV at all. Road trips have usally been 12 hours of driving per day, even with my kids. But watching a lot of RVing videos they seem to shoot for 4 hours. As long as thier in no hurry.

That Derby City was a good place good food, I've stopped there several times when I used to drive a truck. Tip don't park in the truck parking area, you could get ran over and it cuts them off for their parking. Park where cars park.

Get a thing to put on the front for the bike. Figure out how to get the bike out of the inside. Theres a way. We had bikes hanging on our cars and trucks everywhere we went for yrs. No matter where we went my son wanted to take his bike. You’ll figure out a way. Look into it. You can do it. Even if you have to take the wheels off.
