    I am frustrated, I have been learning swimming for 2 months, but still I am not able to find my comfort zone, I always hyper ventilate. Not able to find the perfect rhythm. In the beginning I was able to hold my breath and used to swim the short length of pool holding my breath. But once I learned inhaling and exhaling,now I can't hold my breath for long and feel the need to breath frequently. I don't know how to find ease, even when I do back floating, meri saans phoolne lagti hai.

      This is common problem for beginners. I also faced this. But we should do is the practice of inhale and exhale In water, do kicking practice in water while keeping body straightly balanced on surface but not with folded knees,during hand moments put your hand with an angle with elbow to avoid drag

      Once breathing, hand and leg moments start coordinating. U will find your comfort zone

      @@madhulikakashyap4041 keep doing it ma'am it took me 4 years to fix the breathing while swimming freestyle. Focus on basics and be persistent. Most important, don't compare yourself with others

    My coach often says to keep the body loose while swimming. How to do that.

      @@prabhumuthusubramanian3430 yes, this is most important. This means - don't fight to stay above the water. Be horizontal & relaxed. We must swim like a fish - fish swims under water, not above. So, let go, relax. Just rotate the whole body to breathe, and just one eye & mouth only should just come to the surface to breathe. Do not lift your head to breathe. Legs should not sink. All this is possible only if you build muscle memory for each position by doing specific drills.

      @@prabhumuthusubramanian3430 1. Leg beating at the wall 1000 times daily.
      2. Superman drill daily , in the shallows. When u want to breathe, just stand up & breathe. And continue.
      3. Superman with both both arms extended to the front - prone position, for several days.
      4. Then add arm strokes , in the shallows only.
      5. Breathing is learned last, by rotating with one goggle & back of the head in the water & only mouth & 1 eye showing , to breathe.
      Please train with fins, paddles , pullbouy etc. to build strength in kick, arm strokes, etc.
      6. Get someone to take video while you are swimming & check.
      7. Eventually learn dive starts, flip turns, & all other strokes & especially , to tread water.
      All these drills are there in UA-cam etc. please do the drills for several weeks until you can swim smooth , fast & beautifully ! And graduate to deep water.

      3. Superman with arms out stretched to the front.
      4. Later add arm strokes in this position , continue
      5. Breathing is learned last, after building muscle memory for the above positions.
      Rotate the whole body, one eye & back of the head should be in the water & only mouth & 1 eye comes slightly out to breathe. Later, learn to breathe on both sides.
      Get someone to take video of your swimming & keep checking.
      Train with fins, paddles , pullbouys etc. to build strength, correct mistakes etc.
      Eventually, learn to dive starts, flip turns, all strokes, sighting & treading water.
      All the drills & more are there in the you tube .

      2. Do these 👇drills in the shallows by holding breath & standing up whenever you want to breathe.
      1, Superman drill - be horizontal in water, looking down at the tiles, kick legs & go forward,
      & , 2 Superman glide drill - horizontal in water with arms out stretched in the front and going forward by beating legs & looking down at the tiles.
      2. After building this muscle memory, add arm strokes also. & Keep swimming like this in the shallows, eyes down, no breathing.
      Stand up every time to breathe.
      3. After perfecting the above things, breathing is learned last.
      One eye & back of the head should be in water & only mouth & one eye should come out to breathe.
      This is possible after building muscle memory to be horizontal by doing the drills for several days.
      Eventually, please learn to tread water, sighting, dive starts, flip turns, all strokes, breathing on both sides etc.
      Everything is available in UA-cam & please study those extensively & practice in the water.
      Later, have someone take video of your swimming & study it to spot mistakes.
