As usual brilliant. Jay great race, I feel like we are pretty similar, I haven't done Leeds but I do agree with reading a d the hills, they very much are hills and you are walking them! I however don't agree with Freddy saying that the teams is not as good, it's very different but it's very social, on the course yes of course not but at camp it's a vibe! Scott next year let's go 100! Also yup I was in sight of the podium going 21 laps kept me right up there
Really enjoyed that. I have a 12 hour event this weekend, 6pm - 6am and I have a similar tactic. I name the different parts of the course and then when I pass one the only thing in my mind is the next one coming up. This stops you thinking too far ahead and keeps you in the moment. The next landmark is not very far away and that is always achievable. The only target I have is to keep moving as much as I can and minimise stopping between laps. I have only ever done one 12h event before and I am slightly concerned that when I pass last years distance I will lose my head a bit so I am going to try and not think about distance during the run. This podcast has got me exited for the weekend to see what is possible. The answer to that question is anything.
Loved the content thanks again .
Thanks for listening Paul 😊

Yeah - I reckon I was probably thinking out loud at that point and was looking at it all wrong. 😊
