- This episode of the A Team started the appearance of Decker. He became a more serious element in the series. And in my opinion a very good one.

RIP Lance.... Us A-Team fans will miss you and we'll never forget you :( You were truly Awesome and you had the most coolest voice ever :)
DECKER was MADE for this role. My favorite episodes of the A Team are the ones with HIM in them!!!
Decker was probably the most persistent and relentless pursuer of the A-Team, but his by the book methods always allowed the A-Team to evade him.
RIP, Col. Decker
Lance LeGault 1935-2012
4:38 - General: “Do what you have to do. Get me The A-Team!”
Decker: “Yes, sir.”
This clip of Decker now makes me want to purchase all episodes of the A Team.
Decker was the best Military man around....He was cunning and determined. The role was made for Lance LeGault

Lance LeGault also was a pretty cool Marine Colonel in the original Magnum PI
Speaking of Lance LeGault, he probably announced more promos for The Dukes of Hazzard than any announcer that CBS had under contract- he even announced the promo for 1997's Dukes Reunion TV movie. Lance was a natural , when it came to announcing Dukes promos on CBS!!!
Lance LeGault appeared in nearly every '80's tv show that I loved! A-Team, Nightrider, Magnum PI, Airwolf, Dynasty, Dallas and even Werewolf among others.
+Moon Knight Rider.
*Knight Rider. Much obliged.
Also Dukes of Hazzard and Macgyver. Him and Lynch were together on an Incredible Hulk episode.
@@MR-vf1fw Both Lynch and Decker were in the 1981 movie stripes starring Bill Murray and John candy plus Harold ramis & judge Reinhold
He even was one of the cycled players on Star Trek !! ua-cam.com/video/spfK5yJNdZ4/v-deo.html
Decker scared me as a kid, always glad when The A-Team give him the slip
I love it when a plan comes together
ha haha😂😂😂😂💣🔫🚔🚛👍
Decker was scary in some episodes... and kinda ruthless. I wish they'd kept him around longer.
Decker played a very good role in the show
It would've been so cool to see Lynch and Decker ordered to work together to catch the A-Team.
I loved watching Colonel Decker take on the A-Team.
Colonel decker was a true military man
Decker meant SERIOUS business trying to capture The A-Team!!
Colonel Decker is definitely my favorite of the A-Team's Army pursuers. He was a jerk, but you gotta hand it to him: Decker was devoted to catching his quarry!
Legault's line in Knight Rider's pilot was great. When the truck came after Kitt. "You're gonna need a magnifying glass and tweezers just to find him!"
"Until extreme political pressures knock the head off my career. And any possibility in furthering my rank!"
And talk about tough situations when it happened! Loved the chase scenes with Decker always gettin' fustrated when he lost them! Glad Lance was able to be on the A-Team for 3 seasons too, he was very popular!
Decker was the best, I really liked it when he came back in the trial episode from Season 5 :) Lance always played brilliant as a baddie !!!!
It would’ve been interesting if season five had had a situation where Stockwell forced the A-Team and decker to work together
@@zt1053 man that would of been superb 👍🙂
RIP Lance, great actor, also played a great part as bad guy in "coma"
I love it when a plan comes together
Decker was the best honest hard nosed and tough as nails.
Colonel Decker was a more trigger happy army version of Jack McGee from The Incredible Hulk.
Yes, both characters doggedly pursued their prey and were a constant thorn in their sides.
Both were probably based on Inspector Javier, the policeman from "Les Miserables."
RIP,Col. Decker.
The A-Team was innocent!
The "Jack Mcgee" of the series. RIP
Gotta love the gun safety at 3:51. The silent guy standing right in the path of a possible accidental fire. LOL
Lance LeGault was a great actor.
This is a good show at the every show
the whole a-team was totaly cool. i like how ba could always come up with the most coolest things from nothing. thnaks for posting
He was a worthy product of his time & can never be replaced...EVER.
I loved Lance Legaults character Roderick Decker. A take no prisoners type.
3:40 - “Until extreme political pressures knock the hat off my career. And any possibility of furthering my rank!”
Col Decker was my fave of the guys chasing them easily.
2 of the scenes of the first season according to this scene took place in 1977
If they make a sequel of the movie then I hope Decker will appear.
LOL @ the general :P every time when Decker shoot with the guns look at his face omg :P
2012 rip colonel decker
Colonel Decker reminds me of an army officer I knew when I was active
He reminds me of SEVERAL NCOs I knew when I was active.
Yes a jerk but honest and fair minded.
One of my favorite tv villains
@a4238088 It was actually January 30, 1983, when the A-Team premired on NBC. It premiered after Super Bowl XVII (Washington vs. Miami), Due to the NFL's 57-day players strike, the Super Bowl was moved from January 23 to January 30. The first season DVD states that it premiered January 23, but it was actually January 30.
Ahh poor decker... Cant blame the guy for tryin.... But i LOVE it when a plan comes together and he fails!!! Haha
I couldn't have said it better myself
I love it when a plan comes together
well said and spot on ha ha ha🚔🚛🔫💣🔥😂👍
@@andrerone8208 He was wasting the best years trying to catch people you're never gonna catch he should've gone back to his hometown open a Army Navy store you're a born clerk
@@juliansmith4352 😂😂😂😂🇺🇸😂😯
That's what I was just about to say and you beat me to it damn😂😂😂👍🏻🇺🇸
Dekker was always my favourit bad guy.
Decker: When The A team become The B Team!!!
col decker was great in the a team series, my favourite col out of the 3 !!!
He was just a very good actor, still curious if he was ever in the military the way his tone of voice is though!
I don't believe he was
I like how ALL the guns on the show fire semi-automatically despite being capable of full auto.
The guns they had on the show were all semi auto, apparently easier to get them from state to state where different laws applied.
Without Hanibal, how can you have an A Team movie. Not unless you can bring him back from the dead. I like the original cast members. Face was something else!
Man you took the words right out of my mouth.
and as face would say ahh right!!!!!!!.
sharp, fast.. love decker rip lance
if I where standing next to Dekker I shoud run away!
The BDU in sage green color is awesome....
RIP LANCE LEGAULT
Decker was more intimidating than Lynch plus he had a history with Smith.
Col Lynch was good but Decker was the real pursuer of Col Hannibal Smith and The A Team.
In Lynch's holster(probably)Smith &Wesson K-38 Combat Masterpiece, Revolver Model 15(originally introduced to the USAF Security Police.)
I'm sure, today Lance LeGault would have got his own TV-series, a spin-off! As a member of the CID, on the search for criminal soldiers. Like NCIS today!
+Exodianecross1978 Well, Lance LeGault is dead. HE would have gotten his own show.
Yes, too bad that he hasn't got it. He wasn't a bad guy like the others in the show for which the A-Team was hired to knock them out.
Nobody could beat colonel decker!! 😉👍
Decker got his arse kicked by the team. they wrecked his cars and stole their weapons.
He was also Elvis' Double in the movie Kissin' Cousins with Cynthia Pepper.
“I’ve pursued Col. John Smith and The A-Team for three long years. I lost track of how many laws and how much military properties they’d destroy. I can tell you this. The rules don’t mean nothing to these men, they are loyal to no one but themselves. I have no doubt that they were capable of the crimes which they were accused of.” - Col. Roderick Decker
Even though this is one of my favorite shows, you can see that the general was mistaken. You just don't go out and take out an organisation; you have to know how to do it first.
But Decker said December 1977 and May 1978 The A Team didn't Premier until 1983
If you watch the original episode this is clearly an extended, cut version of the same scene. Unfortunately. They should’ve kept the whole thing.
How the a team always or almost elided military law amazing
0:05 and 0:30. He hardly had to be a champion marksman to hit those targets, did he?
Also, I love the way those big police bikes turn into lightweight scramblers as soon as they hit a ramp......
Correct me if i am wrong, but did he not give them a head start on more than one occasion.
He sure did.
If they make a second A-team movie Decker should be the villain not Jessica Biel. I always loved the episodes with the Decker vs Hannibal fights
Creme de la creme of army officers! 😎💪
*Fires an M16 assault rifle next to the ears of the general* lol.
col decker was my favourite out of the 3 that chased the a team
Hated the way he was always trying to get them
Is the actor who played the general in this episode the same one who played the district attorney in the television series The Green Hornet back in the 60's?
how far away was he from that target? 10? 15 feet?
general look a like Breznjev
Only now noticed that Decker is SF.
The last two wars? He is talking about korea and vietnam am i right?
END OF THE LINE SMITH PECK LIFTED THE WRONG ID THIS TIME! season 4 ep7 body slam greatest line in tv history
@fused1rain Cooool, does he have a fan address so i can write?
Decker? More like Dorker to me
Loved decker and the captain (can't remember his name)
Crane
@@dw8840 thanks D W, though i expect all the characters must be related to imperial stormtroopers
I wonder if decker is in the new movie
Ha ha i know the actor who plays as Colonel Decker well when he was alive. Lance Legualt Hes basically like that if you go shooting with him in real life. I'm not joking about knowing him by the way! :D
I bet off camera he was a very cool guy, that's how most actors were who played tough dudes, Charles Napier being one
@X24RIDER -tell me about it
If there was a movie sequel of the A-Team! What actor would be suitable to play Col Decker?
Hugo Weaving
Dennis Quaid and Maybe Sam Elliott if he was a little younger.
Could always do a tarkin, see rouge one and youll know what I mean
Poor old Hannibal died before Colonel Decker could catch him.
Not long later, Col Decker died too.
@@BrotherDerrick3X I wonder what I was thinking when I left that comment. I guess I was complaining that our hero wasn't going to be part of the A team anymore. If you and I didn't see the bodies, then we don't know one way or the other if those guys are still alive or not.
Ha! They kept drugging B. A.
Still better than the shit they put on BBC now
@JDonzsabres10
Dude, I totally agree! Decker should definitely be in the potential sequel. But who could play him? I don't know if Lance LeGault could; he's a little too old for the part. But, I elect Ron Perlman (Hellboy) as Colonel Roderick Decker!!
Hugo Weaving
Col lynch was only in 3 episodes
Mike One Six Alpha One. Five point Five Six Millimeter, NATO. (0.02 seconds forward)
your earprotector general nn col decker and captain crane! you fools!!
@Borderjoy Tell me about it LOLOL
@8911063538 AMEN!!!! I've been thinking the same thing after I read all four actors were interested in a sequel.
Shoots like a typical OGrade. Trigger squeeze Colonel....trigger squeeze.
rip lg
Without Decker in the episodes it is less amusing than the other antagonists.
for a crime they d not commit its right in the title
@Demithegoddess
I know him and his family
different motorcycles
decker got punched out by smith in the doom bar in nam? that's why he hates the A Team.
