Problem is that most of your Belgian fans got tickets to either Holland or France to make sure they’d see you :/ If you come back to Brussels before announcing shows in our neighbouring countries, you’ll see that beautiful and decent sized venue packed! Promise! Pinky swear... you know the pinky never lies! This being said, I was in that crowd and felt so sorry for you guys and embarrassed that the place was not sold out. Sure, we had a fantastic time! That’s absolutely undeniable! I had the best time and left there with no voice left 😂But the turn up was just sad 😔 Now that I am watching you talk about it, makes it even sadder. But yeah, one thing’s for sure: Belgians are a mad crowd ^_^ I think Eric also might have gotten a glimpse at Belgian madness and sorcery 😂 Aaaaaanyway, please come back. We really do love you guys!

I was at the show in Brussels. First of all, thanking you for coming despite us being such a small country and city. We were very sad that we couldn't fill up the room and tried to make up for it as best as we could (I personally lost my voice haha, probably due to me frantically singing the lyrics of Bleed like my life depended on it). Anyways, I think the problem was that the cities that were announced first (notably Paris and Amsterdam) are pretty near from us. Belgians are used to not have any concerts here, so they just went and bought tickets for either of those two cities. And when you asked for other cities, a lot of people even after asking to add brussels ended up buying for other shows while waiting for the announcement. So when you finally added Brussels, a lot couldn't buy a ticket anymore. I also saw that many people had bought a ticket but couldn't come anymore because of personal reasons. It was really unfortunate. I hope you still enjoyed the show, we sure did. I had the time of my life ! Thank you, once again, for coming.

Ohhh that makes a lot of sense. I think especially kpop/Korean artists' fans are used to sort of like, scheming yaknow? I live in Innsbruck, Austria, which is in that thin stripe of Austria between Germany and Italy. My options seem to be Berlin, Milan and Paris, but I speak German so I feel more comfortable with Berlin and have a friend near Milan while not knowing anyone in Paris. If they suddenly pulled a Vienna or Zurich on me I'd be very surprised and would probably already have tickets for one of the other shows and my vacation and all planned out. But maybe some fans would be elated if say, they're underage and their parents don't want to let them travel to another country but they probably know someone in Vienna and suddenly they'll let them go. I can imagine it going both ways, but I think most fans plan in advance exactly because they most probably need to plan traveling to another country (so that includes tickets, accomodation, off-time from work, etc) which means everyone wants to get tickets as soon as possible too, so they 1. know they're really going and 2. can plan their off time and stay early enough for everything to work out. You probably know all these stuff already but I thought someone out there may be interested to know more. ^^
I was in the Brussels concert and also felt devastated when I saw the half empty venue. But let me tell you, I went there by myself not knowing much despite their 2 latest albums, made some friends at the concert and had a blast during the whole concert ! I was so hyped up from the beginning till the end, singing (more like screaming haha) my lungs out, laughing like there's no ending, and being completely blown away by the show ! I was there too during Eric Nam's concert in Brussels, and I can't thank you enough (and EN Management) for making it possible. Having k-music concert is so rare in Belgium, but guys if you have the chance to see Epik High, it is soooo worth it ! Many Belgians bought tickets for France or The Netherlands! We don't expect anyone to come because most of the time they just skip us. When they announced they were coming to Brussels most fans had already a ticket and to sell them again at the same price is difficult. So next time try to think of us first and I can assure you that the venue will be full as heck this time around!! lots of love belgian fan!
It wasn't about "not getting the word out" for the show. We are used to travelling for shows because korean artists usually skip Brussels. So a lot of people already bought tickets for the shows in Amsterdam and Paris. If you would have announced Brussels at the same time as the first cities, you would have had a packed venue. A lot of my friends were sad because they already had tickets for Amsterdam/Paris and they couldn't resell their tickets because they already had booked a hotel and transportation that were non-refundable. Still hope you had a blast.
I am so sorry for this black hole. We liked this show so much! Beside France, Belgium often goes unnoticed and I am happy that you still love your stay with us. I love that you guys are so honest, most artists wouldnt talk about things like this. Fans from Brussels don't feel bad, I'm sure they still had a great time, these things just happen. I don't want to blame Epik High & Eddie either but I think they hadn't planned this out too well which led to the situation. I'm from Sydney we rarely sell out kpop shows here so sometimes I feel embarrassed about these great artists coming to our non sold out shows so I know how you feel. (our EH show did pretty well though)
We tried to make up for the empty spaces and were as loud as we could be 😂 The show was amazing amd we stayed waaay too long cuz yoi were great at hyping us up!! I was at theParis show (loved it !) and actually was afraid that the Europe tour was going to be hard to sell out, so I was glad to see the venue full and to know that it's only Brussel that was half empty also knowing it was announced later on, I'm actually relieve. Your Summer Sonic story reminded me when we learned about the first Woodstock festival in Rock history class, the teacher said that Jimi Hendrix was the main main act, therefore they put him last on the 3rd (last) day, on Sunday. BUT the schedule was messed up, everyone performed late so Jimi Hendrix had to perform on Monday at dawn, when most of the people already left (partly because it was the end of the festival, and also because of the weather), so he didn't have the biggest crowd

Even though the venue wasn't sold out, we still experienced it as an amazing show. You guys are so skilled and so funny. Epik high was the first korean music I heard, years before I even knew kpop was a thing and I absolutely loved it from the start. Belgium is a small country literally between France and the Netherlands so when they announced the first dates, most Belgian fans bought a ticket for one of these two countries. I'm sure if they announced Brussels at the same time, it would be (almost) sold out

I was there in Brussels with my sister and a friend. Although there were not a lot of people. We loved it so much!!
