Gotta say guys the commentary is vastly improved when you don’t allude to what might happen. I also love it when you talk big theoretical stuff about players and the game. The Isaac angle stuff, Marwede never parking it etc. this is the elite, fun commentary that makes Jomez the home of disc golf
Editing and camera crew have done a great job giving us the entire flights from the throwers' perspective whenever they can. More polished than ever- keep up the good work!

I'm in shock! In a good way. The editing is fantastic! No switching to catch cam within 1 second almost every time. And listening to Jerm and Uli enjoying the shot shapes makes me smile. Please please please edit the videos this way from now on! (I had actually planed just to skip quickly through to see the result - but luckily I gave Jomez a chance).

If you want to see the mechanic that every drive is based on, watch the slo-mo drives JomezPro cut-scene between holes. literally the best you will find on camera and not commented on nearly enough.
Those are ponds. If a body of water is larger than 20 acres it is considered a lake or reservoir. It also depends how deep it is. In Port Orchard, Washington there is a lake called long lake that isn’t any deeper than 6ft but it is about 1.5 miles long.

Imagine Disc Golf coming to Olympic sport and every country can put 3 guys to compete only if they have 1000 rated PDGA. Usa will have pretty nice qualification games for that.
love how on last tournament, Jerm calls foul on the Mcbeth water disc that was called in. But then he says its disappointing to see an ob disc thats dry because they marked the ob distinctly.
I just noticed something after watching disc golf for all these years. The brand and the name of the disc the players on coverage throws isnt really mentioned much. (That disc is known for its stability, should be great for this shot, etc). I understand that the player makes the throws not the disc but its just interesting. Makes me think Uli and Jerm arent technically allowed to mention discs brands or whatever because theyre sponsored and it might be a no-go on their contract.
It's not that, really. For 1-2 years it was becoming common for post-production channels like Jomez, GK Pro, Gatekeeper to list or say the specific discs off the tee, and it became a standard for some pros to hand over their disc lists of what they threw off each tee, if they were on that coverage. In the last year or more there's been pushback from brands and some in the audience to not mention specific brands and/or models of discs, because some would get called a lot more than others (typically the big brands with more of the top players, who would make coverage). So most of the time you'll only see the specific brand/model of a disc pointed out in the HUD (if the player submitted it). But the commentary teams mostly just say generic disc type. (overstable mid, etc) 🙂

Seriously, name one sport where the commentators don’t call out penalties or rules being broken. When will the integrity of DG be held to a higher standard. Tired of seeing foot fault jump putts and no one ever saying a word about it. If someone breaks the rules, and you don’t point it out, you’re just as guilty! Higher standards fellas….please!
Why Uli and Jerm act like they cant see Graphics? Either they are just watching video or cant read.. Its says 3rd card yet Uli says " I think hes on 3rd card".. So are they watching just video?
