A word of advice ! Don’t try to connect it to a 5G WiFi, only the more basic one.
Have you noticed any issues with overheating on the power adapter?

If it's your wife/husband, I would suggest both of you just logging into the same account. If it's anyone, select share and put in their email address. It will send them an email to make an account and download the app. Once they do that, they should have access to view the camera.

I had same issue, but I realized, when you see the SID of WIFI there is a faded line below to input PASSWORD for the selected WIFI. Thought it was automatic and was not entering the password so the camera would scan the QR Code and not connect... If Password is incorrect it will not connect...
I spent ages trying and discovered it was my WiFi. I have 2, a 2,5 and a 5G. Use the 2,5. Once I discovered my error, it was plain sailing
I'm sending it back because the cord is connected. It should be removable. I dont like the cord hanging down.

I do not like the plug they used for plugging it into out electrical outlet. Where I needed to mount it, I would need to have an extension cord because that plug type will not survive outdoors due to weather. It is a 9 foot power cord. My camera will not connect to the app and I have tried all troubleshooting so in my opinion, I would not recommend this camera. It shouldn't be that difficult to install a camera. And I am somewhat tech savvy.
set the wifi router to 2.4Ghz? i didn't have trouble with mine.

Check you’re not connecting to a 5G WiFi, it should be the 2.5
