I demonstrate the single leg balance exercise for seniors and beginners.
I just found you a few weeks ago and do the contents of your videos everyday, enjoying your calm manner and knowledge about the body. Thank you so much for your helpful support of older people with specific health issues! Sometimes I get impatient with long explanations and just want to get moving, as in this video. But usually the explanations about how to stand and variations of poses for those who need more or less challenges are helpful. Thank you for your invested time, quality recordings and well thought out exercises.
Thank you.
Just found you. Thanks for simplified exercises for all especially seniors. ❤️
You're so welcome!
I really enjoy your videos I've been walking with a cane almost two years and I'm hoping I can lose it eventually
Thank you and best of luck.
Margaret, Thank you for all you do to help those of us with osteoporosis and those of us trying to prevent this condition. I am asking about recommendations regarding footwear. I notice that in most of the videos in your products, you are barefooted. I only see you in shoes in the aerobic videos and the more difficult balance routine. Do you recommend doing aerobics barefooted if the arch is strong enough, minimalist or barefoot shoes with zero drop from heel to toe, or regular cushioned sports shoes. Does going barefoot or wearing minimalist shoes provide more impact to the bones? What about taking a walk? Is it better to work up to wearing minimalist shoes if possible?
I wrote a blog post on minimalist shoes. melioguide.com/perfect-posture/minimalist-walking-shoes/
