2007 Honda Accord V6 Ignition Starter Switch replacement.

- Car would not crank at times. I had turn the key off and then on several times before it would crank and start. I initially suspected the starter but I had changed that out back in 2018. I inspected all major grounds; battery to body, engine to body (passenger front), transmission to body (driver side front) and they all looked good. I also suspected the Neutral safety switch but putting it in neutral didn't work, so I turned my attention to the Ignition starter switch. After replacing this switch the car now cranks and starts on the 1st attempt and has been doing so for over a week now without any issues. Safe to say the root cause has been identified and issue resolved!

I LITERALLY HAVE HAD THIS PROBLEM OVER THE YEARS
with multiple honda accords.. and on my current 2007 it started doing the same thing..
the intermittent starting issues..
i also thought starter but when they checked it they said the OHMS readings were correct so no need to change
i replaced all my grounds with 1/0 OFC wire all the way around
charged battery still same issue..
literally came across your video and was ready to order a new starter anyways because i thought maybe they just didnt want to fix for me and remembered i had this same issue on another accord it was an 2003 and i typed in ignition starter switch and boom! your video was the first one that came up that essentially confirmed my original thoughts ill order one of these asap and report back1

I couldn’t get the first screw out asking for help but was able to get the rest of the screw out
I will be replacing the switch out on my car car as soon as it cool down today
Do we need to replace key also if we only chnzge this switch? Hope key will rotate and work
Hello! Im struggling to get the last inner screw that holds the old ignition switch. How were you able to remove it?
There is always 1 stubborn bolt or screw when I do a job, but fortunately for me, I didn't have any issues with the inner screw on this job. Good luck and hope you can remove it.
