I love the soundtrack in this game, the trainer battle theme, the regular gym leader battle theme, this theme and Curie's battle theme are fire.
I have a exact memory of this theme when I was fighting Maria. Her Felunge almost one shotted my Birbie💀.

Pity this track was never included in the official games, it would have been PHENOMENAL. The fangames did it a thousand times better. They did the Pokémon themes true justice.

well yeah...in base Pokémon Mega Ampharos is Electric/Dragon. It makes sense to be his mega because Mega Salamance and Mega Garchomp both suck and you can't just give the 7th gym leader a Mega Rayquaza now can you?

mega garchomp is worse than regular garchomp IN COMPETITIVE but its a bit of a stretch to say that it sucks
@@topichu970 most Megas do the following
1) Invest most of the extra stat points in their Best Stat
2) Boost the defense they are weakest in
So Salamance boosts it's Physical defense from 80 to 130, which is bad considering it's 4x weakness (Ice) are usually picking Special moves over physical, and only boosts both Attack Stats by 10 and it's speed by 20. Even as a mega, many Ice Types can outspeed and one shot Mega Salamance because it can't hold a berry.
It even loses Moxie which is why many people run Salamance to begin with. I would rather have Moxie (An ability that boosts your attack with every kill) over Aerilate (Which turns normal moves into Flying moves)
Scarf Moxie Salamance works way better than Mega Salamance
