Yup I did I used my gold one from the first instinct clipper just the steady blade. Just cause I think it stays a little cooler. But I did use the TPOB TX blade on my other set and I like that blade a lot better and I have the black on on another set. I leave the cutter blade cause they both are the real thing cutter blades and they don't look any better to be honest the S/C faper blade don't look much different neither I think it's all the same blade with a different name more of a mind thing if you ask me . The gold could be different from different treatment to the blade
