I think selling these bags was a wise decision, as you didn't use them anymore. However, don't feel like you HAVE to sell others, if you love all the bags in your closet (and you have some fantastic Chanel & Hermes bags). So keep what you love and don't feel guilty.
As difficult as it may seem, this just incurs more sustainability: implementing one in and one out. Kudos for maintaining this ethos. Especially in a world where more is more. ❤
I love your approach, it’s definitely healthy to not place to much value on material things but make sure you truly enjoy the pieces you do keep. That being said, if I were lucky enough to own the Kelly to gos that would have been a very difficult decision 😂😂 but you absolutely did the right thing!
Oh my Lou girl you videos just make my day love you girl. Still a lot of personal stress as soon as I press that play button and watch that’s it my day goes better ❤❤❤😊
I love a good sensible purge from the closet or home; in fact, I agree with every bag you’ve sold and would have done the same. At the same time, in those situations where you absolutely love your bags and don’t use them, it’s a great scenario in case you have kids in the future who want to use them when they are older. I’m buying more luxury now (no vintage or preloved items, just classics in classic colors) since the kids are showing interest in using them when they are grown. ❤
Love this! 😍 I used to love the idea of having a closet lined with shoes and bags, but then I realized I’m always reaching for the same few bags so it made no sense to collect and I’ve felt great letting things go 🙌🏼
I always know that I’m gonna have a fantastic day when I get a notification that you made a new video in the morning, I watch them with my cup of coffee 🥰❤️
Lovely video lou, totally agree with your view. The bags you sold weren’t working and it shows emotional maturity to sell them for something that works better for you. huge bag collections are so overwhelming anyway. I recently sold my herbag and B30 in exchange for a Kelly 32 and I have already used it twice as much as the others 2 put together. Feel happy I followed my instincts
I think its good that you love everything you have! nothing wrong with not selling to buy, but I totally agree with your approach that if you aren't wearing a bag then it makes sense to sell to buy something you know you will use a lot x
I love how mature you are in these decisions. I am not that way, and seem to always have regrets when I sell. I wish I would have known you were selling your PS mini, I would have bought it from you! Enjoy your future purchases!
Lou!!! I cant believe u sold the palms springs mini and the kelly to go!!!!! Im truly shocked but also so proud of u for letting go of things u were attached to but it was time to move on!! Very porud of u!
Love the one in one out concept!! I have done this for years, but now am at the point where I love all of my bags and use them a lot and don't see myself selling any of them. So now I don't know what to do! lol!
💪🧡 Well done...it shows your character and the way you grew up, you're not straight! And you know how to let go of things you loved and use less of them ❤️ That's why there are those who didn't grow up with money (not all of them) and they want more and more without satiety and someone like you who knows how to let go
Love your honesty and thoughtfulness! I really wish I had it in me to sell any of mine haha you have courage! I’m trying to buy one bag per year now but it’s hard!
Amazing video as always. Do you mind letting us know which company/ store you would recommend for selling luxury bags please? I live in Canada and so far I have not been able to locate any.
I have my palm springs mini for sale too (in new condition) and my montsouris! I also am just not a backpack girl. i’m also not a shoulder bag girl.. I need a crossbody, apparently. 😬 i’m sure that will change one day like my preferences always do. I just wish it wasn’t such an expensive lesson every time! 😅
Picotin is great but I agree that your other white bags were fitting your lifestyle now. The palm spring mini sad to go. I don't think I be able to give away if I had it. Might get it for my baby girl. Finally able to comment earlier!!! You are my constant inspiration to creating my contents. Thank you. Your channel is great and calming. Excited for your wedding. I create content of affordable luxury in my channel 99 Lifestyle so thank you so much
Great choice. I love vintage, they are so unique. I have some older Gucci bags (2010) and a favorite Chanel Jumbo Black Caviar Silver Hardware Single Flap (17 years) that I prefer vintage. I even restored some old LVs because I loved them so much. Thank you for your video. I like them. LYXBAGS
Depends on the bag to be honest, a few of them I made money because of price increases happening over the years of owning the bags, with others I lost money as they are not bags that sell close to retail. I ended up sort of breaking even because I did not sell my bags that would give me profit like quota bags or my classic flaps 🫶🏼
I have a few questions for you. Do you really think I’m 13? Or are you just trying to be dramatic because you just took 14 years off me. Second question, do you really imply a 13 year old has a sugar daddy? Third and last, are you this misogynistic all the time?
A 27 year old can have a sugar daddy, that doesn’t mean every woman you come across online does. That is your own prejudice and internalizad misogyny speaking, my fiance is my same age if you care to watch anything else on my channel but go off queen, let’s keep bringing other women down
I love this idea. This world we live in is crazy right, we live in over consumption times. I like that you are thinking smart even with all the money you may have to keep it all, but you choose this route. Been watching you for years & you have grown and come so far. So happy to be on this journey with you, as I myself, my taste in luxury has shifted over these years. Also, I want to order from real luxury but I don’t know why I’m so scared. I have never bought a second hand bag, but I really want a lady Dior and a new Chanel but can’t justify buying it brand new in stores anymore. Help🥹

I don’t have any luxury bags but I like your way of thinking, very responsible. It’s better to enjoy your bags and use them to the fullest 😊
As difficult as it may seem, this just incurs more sustainability: implementing one in and one out. Kudos for maintaining this ethos. Especially in a world where more is more. ❤

I could not agree with you more! Great way of thinking! The year is not long enough to enjoy so many bags! ❤
Love your POV on handbags ❤
Thank you!
Oh my Lou girl you videos just make my day love you girl. Still a lot of personal stress as soon as I press that play button and watch that’s it my day goes better ❤❤❤😊
Love it when she says one bag in and one bag out
Shows responsibility on her part ❤
Sunday morning with a new video , what a great start to begin the day 😊, love your videos 🫶
Thank you 🥹

You are so mature and responsible with your finances . You have my favorite bag collection. RIP to the classic flap. That one hurt the most.
Loving this video!! Letting go is so liberating! 😍
Love this! 😍 I used to love the idea of having a closet lined with shoes and bags, but then I realized I’m always reaching for the same few bags so it made no sense to collect and I’ve felt great letting things go 🙌🏼

I love your approach to luxury fashion, I feel the same, if it’s not practical or makes me obsessed it’s got to go.

I always learn so much about handbags when I watch your Vlogs thank you for being so thorough and explaining the detail and etcetera
Great video! I know how hard it is to let go of bags and I really love your thought process. Can't wait to see what you will add this year!

I LOVE these videos! I love that you enjoy keeping your collection small and amazing

I think u have a healthy approach; having a hugh collection is overwhelming to me; a collection that is manageable is far more appealing to me. 😊
I am doing exact the same thing to keeping my closet sustainable, clean and effective ❤❤
The alternative bags you got after selling your bags are soooo much better
💪🧡 Well done...it shows your character and the way you grew up, you're not straight! Not easy, well done Lou 👏🏻😘
You’re dior bobby bag inspired me to make my very first dior purchase 😭❤️
You are smart and sensible beyond your years. Wish other luxury influencers would learn from you. 🫶🏼
Love your Maxi Chanel 19! Will you do an updated collection soon? ❤️👛
I have some bags that I don’t use in my collection but Im saving them for my granddaughter 🥰
Great video!! ❤❤❤
One in one out is good. Have 200 designer bags mean you just love shopping. You should love and use all your bags. 😊
It would be nice if you do your current bag collection someday:)
Love your honesty and thoughtfulness! I really wish I had it in me to sell any of mine haha you have courage! I’m trying to buy one bag per year now but it’s hard!
You can do it 🥹 if you really don’t sue them the best is to try now things!
You bought the black Chanel 19 bag jumbo size. Wise choice. 😂❤
A good replacement.
It’s such a good bag!
You’re adorable…such a cute aesthetic ❤
Its great to sell the ones you don’t use. Others will get to enjoy them.
I also did the same. I just sold a few bags I wasn’t using either. ❤
Thank you, I needed this! Currently doing the same.
Love your vídeos 🥰
I’m here to hear about the Dior saddle. 😆
did u lose money selling your bags, how much and where do u sell your items?
Nooo!!! Not the vintage chanel! That color and size was perfect! 😢 I think the other ones you sold makes sense, but this one… too sad! 🥹
Amazing video as always. Do you mind letting us know which company/ store you would recommend for selling luxury bags please? I live in Canada and so far I have not been able to locate any.
Awww the Deauville! Can you tell me where do you sell your bags?
I have my palm springs mini for sale too (in new condition) and my montsouris! I also am just not a backpack girl. i’m also not a shoulder bag girl.. I need a crossbody, apparently. 😬 i’m sure that will change one day like my preferences always do. I just wish it wasn’t such an expensive lesson every time! 😅
What platform do you sell them on?
Where do or did you sell them??
Your bags are beautiful and excellent condition I’m sure. Where do you sell them?
I could be wrong but didn’t Dior just come out with a leather version of the book tote? That might work for your computer too maybe 🥰
What inserts do you use for your Hermes bags?
I had the Chanel 19 in small and large but felt something was missing.... Maybe maxi is the one for me too!!
Oh no😢not the vintage Chanel
I know 🥲
It is was one of my favourite bags in her collection! A gem
I love your videos ❤
Does the 19 maxi get heavy once you put everything into it?
Te admiro por poder decir adiós 👋 y venderlas. Yo no puedo 🙈 todas mis bolsas tienen un valor sentimental 💗 amo tus vídeos 💕💕
Picotin is great but I agree that your other white bags were fitting your lifestyle now. The palm spring mini sad to go.

I might be crazy but I’m really considering selling my Birkin. It’s a beauty but I just don’t use it.
which platform you use to sell these bags?

Was there a bag that sold super low compared to what you paid for it? Just curious
what was the ladys channel mentioned in this video? i would like to view it. thank you 😇
Where do you sell your Loui Vuitton. Redeluxe doesn’t buy them
Can u tell me a good app to dark aesthetic mood love you vibes of your insta pics thx
Wow quite a collection to let go ..do you worry about losing money when you sell?
Did you lose or earn money when you sold the bags?.. Or is it just break even?
Depends on the bag to be honest, a few of them I made money because of price increases happening over the years of owning the bags, with others I lost money as they are not bags that sell close to retail. I ended up sort of breaking even because I did not sell my bags that would give me profit like quota bags or my classic flaps 🫶🏼
Also Chiara Ferragni will sell soon part of her collection with all those lawsuits..lawyers are not cheap...
🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩😍🌹
Sorry, but how old are you?! 13? How do you afford those bags?! Parents? Sugar daddy? All fakes?! just wondering
I have a few questions for you. Do you really think I’m 13? Or are you just trying to be dramatic because you just took 14 years off me. Second question, do you really imply a 13 year old has a sugar daddy? Third and last, are you this misogynistic all the time?
@@JesuisLou I can’t help it that you look 13 at your 27) so now it’s out…27 year old can have a sugar daddy)) 😅
