    YES! YES! YES! It definitely works. We've been plagued with squeaky floors in our kitchen for a while. The house is only 10 years old. I just tried it and WooHoo! Squeak is gone. I hope you give it a try and have the same good fortune.

    Watch closely at 0:10 where the boards that he is standing on is squeeking. His tips of shoes are on line with the handle of the hammer. Now watch where he puts the baby powder. It is some 10 boards in front of where he was standing. His knees are actually on the spot with the squeek. Funny! Have not tried the powder trick myself so it is possible this may actually work don't know. Another thing I find interesting is that one legged table on wall behind him...lol. :)

    I tried this years ago and it didnt work. Saw this vid about using the block of wood and rubber mallet, it worked like a charm. Takes abit more effort than what was shown in the vid....but it worked

    Except you're kneeling on the spot that was squeaking

      @DjHannerRan 9 місяців тому

      And it didn't squeak when he got down on them (his knees) like it should have. The squeak sound was fake you have to step in and off the boards to make them squeak I live with it.

    Talc stops working after a few months because it absorbs water. This stuff looks better @

      Worked for me! It works for surface squeaks, but sometimes the problem is deeper

  • @iapprove8392
    @iapprove8392 6 місяців тому

    Not a good tutorial. At the beginning you were standing somewhere else and then you put the powder in front about two to three boards in front of you. That floor was not squeaky at all. 🤦🏻 Next video make sure you have a squeaky floor and put enough baby powder on the right boards. The other guy did it in 5 minutes with a real squeak and enough baby powder. Thats not enough baby powder to start with. 🤦🏻
