Wiggins didn't meet the expectations of the Timberwolves, so they shipped him off to Golden State for D'lo and so far the Warriors made him more of a defensive player (a bit of a scoring option) and so far the Warriors won that trade.

He thrives when he isn’t asked to be THE guy like he was in Minny. Now he’s comfortable and just plays his game. No pressure to carry the offense every night. Like it or not, some players just don’t enjoy being that main guy. Wiggins is happy being the 3rd/4th option and brings great defense as well as effort every night.

Wiggins contract is an absolute boat anchor. It’s incredible that he didn’t just take the cash and run. The fact that the warriors have gotten him to buy in, let alone produce and be an all star is all you need to see that chemistry and how successful it’s been for both of them. The warriors are just a garden of Eden, anyone will succeed there. McGee, Bogut, Livingston, Quinn cook… Quinn cook was so insanely inflated on GSW people thought he was gonna be the second coming of Derek fisher on the lakers, now he’s in the G league.
Wiggins contract could have ruined this team, luckily they’re getting something -quite a bit actually- out of it.

This series should have been more competitive. Mavs' big men cannot score and can't not even get a rebound. The Warriors outplayed them from top to bottom

Kleiba has been super trash. They need a Javale McGee type who can play d, get rebounds and finish lobs all with physicality.

Golden State's ball movement, 3-point shooting, and all the efforts made, paid off this game, especially on the road, Steph, Wiggins, and Klay all combined with 77 points, also that Wiggins dunk was amazing, one more win for the Warriors to enter the finals, way to go🔥

Golden State offense when clicking on all cylinders is so lethal cause you can’t play drop coverage given how lethal Steph is and you can’t necessarily blitz Steph Klay or Poole all the time cause that just opens more ball movement and player movement for them which gets them easy baskets in the paint
The extra passes and cuts to the basket and offensive rebounds and 2nd chance points have been the deciding factors all series long.

I agree, but I never thought the dynasty ended. A dynasty doesn’t start or end with a few losses. Plus, this is basically the same core group of guys, injuries set them back not play. Tom Brady and the Patriots went a decade without a super bowl and that 20 year run is still a dynasty.

They're playing the mentally toughest team in the league, after beating the mentally weakest team in the Suns, so they weren't prepared for this. The Suns are loaded with talent, but CP3 has always come unglued in crucial series, and the rest of the team lacked the leadership and toughness it would take to overcome the annual Paul collapse. What's ironic about this is a couple of years ago when Paul played a game 7 against the Rockets he boasted about "being built for big games." There had never been any evidence of that before, and his fourth quarter turnover-and-brick binge in that game was more evidence that he shrivels up in the biggest games. So no surprise he suddenly seemed so feeble in Games 6 and 7 against the Mavs. The Dubs are pretty much the exact opposite of that, and it's hit the Mavs hard.
It's over now. No team has come back from 0-3 deficit. Warriors will win Game 4 and the only question is by how many points. Bullock 0 - 10 from the field made Shaq called him Bricks for a reason.

Warriors is overwhelmingly controlling this series. I personally think they will give the next game to Mavs so they can celebrate at home (unless Mavs will play trash while Warriors are trashing, like Game 5 of Grizz-Warriors series)..
Lot of people hate the Warriors cuz of the KD era. But it’s hard to hate them nowadays when the same homegrown stars are playing well and their young stars like Poole, Kuminga, Moody are developing and contributing. Wiggins and even Porter before he got hurt found a little resurgence in their careers. They play a great style of ball that’s fun to watch and wins games. No selfish players either. Lot of respect for that organization and their culture.
Who would've thought between KAT Wiggins and Lavine, that Wiggins would be closest to winning a championship? 🤷♂️

Over 3 games Wiggins is a plus 66 and Luka is a minus 61! Wiggs has clearly outplayed Luka in this series but casuals will look at Lukas stat line and not act like most of Lukas points were meaningless garbage time points and will also ignore that the fact he's been playing zero defense throughout this series this far!

That +/- stat is so out of context. The losing team in the series will always have a minus box score and Luka played more minutes for the Mavs than anybody so his box score is the lowest cause of that.

Van Gundy said it best when he remarked that Luka got 40 but he got half of it after the game had been decided. That's what people often don't see about the Warriors. They're such good shooters with great ball movement that once they're up by 10 the game is basically over. They really don't care if you score when they lead like that because they'll just come back down and score again. And again. And again. Teams wear themselves out thinking they're still in it but they can never catch them. The Warriors didn't care that Luka got 20 in the 4th. All they care about is the W, and they didn't even have to exert maximum effort to get it.

@@ColdHoops But what can you do? There is no other option for Mavs - they have Dinwiddie who previous game had 4 pts in 22 min. and 4x turnovers. The other type of player was KP and he could play closer to basket in post scored his 20 pts per game average and had about 10 reb per game - but it's already in past because he is not in Mavs anymore.
I love the fact some really thought the mavs could be at the warriors in a 7 game series. I’m going wit the players that’s been there multiple times over a franchise that haven’t been there since 2011.

I was definitely wrong about this series. I thought Dallas would push Golden State to the limit. But just like in boxing how styles make fights, match ups make games or series. And Golden St because of their ball movement just makes a tough match up for Dallas. Just too many shooters, and Luka as great as he is definitely slows down the offense which seems like it playing right into GS hands.

Battled against the Clippers his sophomore and junior year and pushed them to their limits with Kawhi and PG guarding him and still lit them up and carried his team to wins. He's lead his team to their first WCF since 2011 and no one expected them to be where they are right now. Luka will retire top 15 all time without a doubt.

@@mornediablo7819 Teams have had four years to figure him out, it doesn't take that long. It takes one year to figure out a player's tendencies, strengths and weaknesses. I'm a Lakers fan and watched how he torched other teams his rookie year but the Lakers were able to shut him down. Luka works through it, he is a generational talent and will be the face of the NBA for the rest of his career. His lack of athleticism hasn't hindered him and will provide a long career for him. He's not great defensively but that can be improved. He doesn't need to be a great defender to be a top all time player. If he develops solid off ball defense, which he is already decent at, he'll have very few knocks on his game. He's 23, not in his prime. Like I said, stop hating and appreciate him as a player.
