Tanglefoot Brewing is a small Czech lager focused brewery in Temple, TX.In 2021 the brewery opened in the back of my family's BBQ restaurant that had been operating for 53 years. The restaurant has since closed and Tanglefoot has now taken over the entire space. This UA-cam channel was started to document the process of opening, running and growing a small craft brewery.

Nice recipe! Have you tried using CaraBohemian in place of CaraMunich? Also, if you're looking a Czech spring festival to hang your anniversary on, how about Čarodejnice, or witch burning night, also known in German as Walpurgis Nacht? Czech tradition is to burn an effigy of a witch, though originally it was an effigy of the goddess Morana.
Have not used it in my beers but have before. I'm down for burning things ha
I really like the videos you make! 😎
What volume is your brewhouse and how do you heat it?
brewhouse is about 4bbls volumetrically but I knockout around 3bbls. I have a propane burner under my kettle.
Hey Andy. This is some wonderful viewing you're providing us with. Much appreciated. I'm an experienced homebrewer and appreciate the inside look you are giving on your brewery and beers. Just a couple questions.... In this recipe, did you adjust your pH after the boil? Also, do you fast crash the beer or slowly lower the temp after fermentation (1C per day for example)? Appreciate the help!
No pH after boil. Fast crash from 60-50 and 50-38. 🤘
@@tanglefootbrewing thank you!!
