Servers will shutdown in the next 2-3 years (if lucky) and the problem is that a big % of people who play don't do it for fun they are just addicts who are chased either by "nostalgia" or are just simply attached to the game for any kinds of reasons. Quit this game, it will save you: time, money, braincells. You can either use your time more valuably or choose to play another game atleast, you can use your money in a way that it will benefit you and not someone who doesn't even know how to run a game properly.
we play a game because its fun and give us a sens of amusment. Personnaly, if I play this game, its true that the nostalgia is part of this but the most of it is because I find it fun.

The game is really old and if you look up other mmorpg games you will see how much more they are advanced than Drakensang.
I had a problem, I bought packages for Andrermant, but they didn't come to me! Since my card stopped accepting purchases (I have a limit on my card) after 3 days it turned out that I had a bill of 43£ (HOW, when they didn't come to the game, Revolut wrote,, Blocked payment,, ) (very mean)
exactly why the jesters were taken out of the game but n contrast they added boxes like the other user in the comments said. Been playing dso on and off since 2012 but finally the time has come to quit it completely
Playing since 02/2012 and this is just one of the reasons that I stopped playing DSO (only play big main events with friends). Having lots of fun in Diablo Immortal (since 12/2023) and its way more fair than DSO, but people always respond with its P2W...every free to play game uses P2W system. In DI I'm in the top 100 PvP players, in DSO I was too, till the glyphs system came out and the money started to pour in. Diablo Immortal is P2W, but its fair game, we don't need to pay real money for events, jewels or runes.
i haven't watched the video yet but i know the answer is yes, i haven't given them a dime in over 10 years purely because i can't in good conscience support a game with such shady and greedy monetization
It's a very basic technique that exists in many games, it's exceptionally easy to learn it in DSO. If you want to look at other examples in games where it's harder, take a look at League of Legends "kiting", it's the exact same thing just that the community has given it a different name
ich finds viel mießer, dass wenn man sein acc in türkei oder so erstellt hat alles viel günstiger ist, während wir hier 170€ für 1 Jahr Deluxe bezahlen müsstne wäre das umgerechnet bei uns gerade mal ungefähr 50€

Verstehe das Problem nicht die meisten wissen das sich diese Lootboxen sich nicht lohnen. da lässt sich auch keiner scamen hätte das Spiel viele neue Spieler würde ich es checken. So ist es nur aufmerksam machen auf ein Thema was sowieso jeder weiß.
"Nobody can be scammed"?!!! really??? So why are there laws that forbid this type of offers? Kids and teenagers that spend thousands of euros/dollars per week/month have that kind of money in their pockets? Next time before posting your beliefs, google for facts....so you don't sound so ignorant.

DSO is not like old DSO when 40 lvl was max. In old days we have nice PVE and even better PVP. Now is just a shadow of old DSO. So sad.
