Thats actually the nice thing about the Kapkan buff. You put it at head level and they melee that spot? Your gun goes through as you melee and KABOOM.
It happened to me to but in my case the trapp was set below, still blew me up!
i was crawling under it and i got blown up... and injured LOL GG R6 two bugs in 1 kappa

switch to your primary instead of just releasing the cardiac scanner button Mat. I don't know what that is on PC because I play on PS4, but switching weapon is almost instantaneous whereas releasing it he has to go through the animation. makes the C4 pulses much better

I got killed once by a Kapkan trap through a Castle barrier. My shield animated through the wall and set off the trap. It was quite surprising.

Oh, well when it happened to me I was on the other side of the baracade relative to it and I meleed far below where it was to be able to watch under the door better and it blew up in my face.

If you break a barricade that has a kapkan trap and your arm goes through the lazer it seems like the trap will detonate. This has only happened to me on plane once.

Do you think that it would be a good idea to give iq the ability to see laser sights with her gadget as a buff?
Do you think markers should appear in kill cams? I feel like I'm always getting accused of hacking when my teammate marks an enemy and I wall bang them. Also whenever I see someone shoot me through a wall in a kill cam I feel a little suspicious.

I once got a tripple c4 kill with pulse. Probably the one and only time that would ever happen to me
FYI if a kapkan trap is mid way up a door and thats where you break a piece of the door, it WILL kill you lmao. I htough i clipped or something until it kept happening and i figured it out by watching my trap do it to some unsuspecting shield
Should shooting through a wall (on rainbow 6) effect the damage and/or direction + trajectory of the bullets? Maybe not too drastically but just enough so its not a one shot head shot and so shotguns act the exact same through a wall.. maybe it could go as far as different materials affect the bullets differently.

had the same problem where I hit a barricade and The Traps blew up and in all honesty that lost the round for us

Mat when you mêlée a piece of barricade that is level with the kapkam laser it detonates. Sometimes just walking fully into a door kills me.Also I think we need 2 more maps.

Kapkan IS supposed to detonate if you bash in the window where the laser is. That's the point of being able to choose the height you place it etc
