Tati have you consider getting you subtitles professionally captioned? my best friend is deaf but she can't watch your videos and get all the information as I can. the auto-captions are terrible, and not helpful at all. I know it may seem like too much work, but from a business perspective, you would be opening your channel and brand to a whole new demograpic. also, you would be doing an awesome inclusive thing! ( thumbs up so she can see this please)

A good way to keep the velvet clean on the outside of ABH's packages are to save the boxes and just put it back in the box when you're done using it. That's what I do with all my palettes and it definitely keeps them nice and clean ♥️
When I saw "Subculture Part 2?" in the video's title, I started defending Norvina in my head. I was relieved to discover you love it as much as I do! There isn't a single color I don't like, and I don't mind kickup if the colors are pigmented and blend well. Am I the only one who loves Soul? It works beautifully on my pale skin. I just love this palette, it is well worth the price. Thanks for the in-depth video, Tati!

I think you broke JCat’s site yesterday. I watched your powder foundation review, went to buy it and the purchase screen froze. The lady who answered the phone didn’t know what was happening, she was getting much more calls than usual. I told her, “It’s the Tati Westbrook effect!” ;)
I love this review. It's seeing an actual review on this palette and not just someone digging aggressively in the pans for shock value and then complaining about how wasteful it is while they are using it. I would love to see you do that black smokie eye that you were talking about.
Nevertheless I think Subculture shade range was the best ever. All other palletes seem too boring to me. Subculture is LOVE. Unpopular opinion but mine. Yeah, the formula is a little bit annoying but I personally can play with it:)
Same!! I love my subculture palette. The colors are so unique. I get great color pay off. I did get mine in February though so I may have gotten the repressed palette.

Look, you’re right. This is her channel and she can do whatever she wants but clickbaiting people can be such a turn off. Especially on UA-cam where clickbaits are saturated. It just cheapens the actual content.

Tati - to clean velvet, use a microfiber cloth and a solution of dish soap and water. If it's really down in the nap, you can use a toothbrush to scrub it out. I recommend using Seventh Generation or similar dish soap because you really don't want anything on a palette case that might cause an allergic reaction if you touch the case and then your eyes.

Am I the only one that doesn’t like purple on green/blue/grey eyes? I’m not as keen on this look on Tati and I’ve tried purple eye looks myself (my eyes are grey/blue) and it just does nothing for me. I think it looks far more stunning on girls with hazel and brown eyes

Oh thank the lord! I was scared you wouldn’t review this palette for a minute Tati. I go to you as my main makeup person because we seem to have a LOT of skin, hair, and health concerns. I watched Jefree star with it, but he can only give so much when his skin is VASTLY different from mine, which is mostly crazy oils and weird dry patches. Thank you!!!
You're so so right! I feel so overwhelmed with these constant launches- been trying lately to use my collection more and think thrice before buying yet another highlighter. I wish brands would spend more time perfecting formula and shades and then come out with INCREDIBLE products. Especially for shade ranges for foundations- it is not acceptable that brands release a foundation with a super limited shade range and then tell us that "more are coming later". NO! If it's not ready, just wait with the release until all shades are perfected and ready!!!

For dark skin tones I feel like it could use a darker matte shade but really that’s it, I think it would look beautiful on deep skin. It would really pop with how pigmented all the shimmers are!
Tati, I love your videos, but I feel like that title is kinda misleading. If your opinion is not that it's subculture part two, due to the fact that you disliked subculture and you like this one, the title seems dishonest. Just my opinion though. Have a nice day everyone :D
Guess I've expressed myself wrong. If you only saw the title, you could think that the norvina pallet is as controversial and bad as subculture, which is not what she thinks. I personally think that other title could still be mysterious and more fitting
Adrienne G that's probably it. She must have to think about thousands of titles and not all of them are going to be perfect. I just didn't like this one personally, but it's not like she does this with every title. No one expresses themselves perfectly all the time

This is why I watch you always! It makes it easier when I buy new makeup. I feel we have the same skin type and like the same things. So watching you has helped me not feel so stressed when buying new items. I don't feel like I'm wasting my money now either. I know the makeup boogie man will come get me when I say this but here goes; Use the sponge tip applicators to apply the pressed glitters and shimmers, press and pull don’t pack or layer.
I just use fingers, but I can see the more siliconey sponge applicators getting the job done really well. I used to use those to smear on my boujee Elizabeth Arden eyeshadow back in the day and they packed a punch, especially with this emerald green shade I was obsessed with. Easily became my every day routine.
I am in love with this palette too!!! My hubby got it for me last weekend and I've been playing with it all week! I haven't been able to use anything else!!!! This is my first ABH palette so I wasn't sure what to expect, but I am really enjoying this!
I waited until June to get my subculture palette and it was perfect. Barely any fallout and super pigmented and easy to blend shades. I’m pretty sure I just got a better batch since I waited so long. I’m definitely getting this palette tho 💜
Sonisha Rodriguez same formula, they just started pressing them harder after all the fuss. That's exactly why I grabbed mine from the first batch and don't know if I'll repurchase, I've got pan on a bit over half of mine but I need to check the new palettes out in person. I get to Sephora / Ulta like once a year, so I've been hoping someone would compare a newer one with one of the 'bad' ones and haven't had any luck seeing it done. It's a great formula, just not for everyone.

Hey Tati can you do a video on the rules for creating a look. Like why you pair colors from a pallet together. You always know what to pair with your eye look or how to bring it all together even when your look is a little out there.
Controversial opinion: Subculture was actually AWFUL and people who say it wasn't are just those people who want to stand out from the rest and they think having an opposite opinion on a controversial topic is the way to do so. Whenever there is something that's getting a lot of hate you'll always find those people who try to act like it's something good not because they actually think it's good but because they they want to be different.
I waited until after Christmas to get my Subculture and I absolutely love it. I think maybe it's been repressed ... Plus I had the benefit of the fiasco and tips on how to use it. I love everything about it 😍😍😍 the colors : l'sigh ::: NORVINA is just stunning. I'm waiting on mine now. It's due tomorrow. CAN'T WAIT !
i just bought subculture and I could noooot get it to work! i was so sad, i was hoping it would be different for me. the mattes would not stay on me or would completely change color. :( i love the colors so much, i wish theyd go back and change the formula
I love my subculture pallette. I got mine around launch and it works amazing and I still haven't hit pan on any shade. People on the internet were just being dramatic. Lol
patricia huffman just tap lightly into the pan. It's so pigmented that you can go 0- clown .035 seconds. I have to be careful since I'm basically a Savage.

I swatched this pallete at Ulta the other day and I WAS IN LOVE. I actually left the rose gold colors on my hand and kept staring at them on the way home. I told myself I didn’t need another eyeshadow palette but I am definitely buying it now that it’s Tati approved.

I've been using this pallette nonstop since I got it. I have hazel eyes, so I love me some purples!! I love the taupy shades too. Tati, that bronzy black smokey eye look you mentioned sounds bomb!! I would love to see you do that look!!
I wish this palette would have worked for me 😭 it was just so patchy and there was an insane amount of kickup. I felt like I was wasting shadow EVERYTIME I dipped my brush in the pans.
See, I’ve had issues with this palette. 😭 The colors swatched well, but the mattes/satins were a little patchy for me. The pigmentation also faded almost immediately. I’m going to keep playing with it, though, because I wanted it to be amazing! Your video gives me hope.
mixedupspaz I hope that’s not the case, but I wouldn’t be surprised if it is. So many UA-camrs loved it or at least thought it was okay. The shimmers were pretty, but the stains and mattes just weren’t good. 😕
I love this palette so very much!!! I was scared when I saw the title and thumbnail/image but am relieved you love it too!! In the winter I think you may be able to pull off the matte periwinkle shade. It looks like a bruise on some people, but on me I like it on my inner lower lash line

What? Periwinkle is a blue colour! Souls is described as wisteria which is a purple, its a flowering plant, do some googling and learn something before u correct ppl. Also Volatile in this palette is described by Tati as cool brown.....What planet do u ppl live on lol
Melinda Roberts I’ve seen the palette in person and they can describe it as a wisteria shade all they want but it’s definitely more of a periwinkle blue than a wisteria purple. 🤷♀️

I does look pretty BUT you didn't address the problem of the shimmer colors that look like they're breaking up just as badly as they did with the Subculture palette, just one look at those and you can see how broken up they are already.

I love this review. It's seeing an actual review on this palette and not just someone digging aggressively in the pans for shock value and then complaining about how wasteful it is while they are using it. I would love to see you do that black smokie eye that you were talking about.
Nevertheless I think Subculture shade range was the best ever. All other palletes seem too boring to me. Subculture is LOVE. Unpopular opinion but mine.

Tati - to clean velvet, use a microfiber cloth and a solution of dish soap and water. If it's really down in the nap, you can use a toothbrush to scrub it out. I recommend using Seventh Generation or similar dish soap because you really don't want anything on a palette case that might cause an allergic reaction if you touch the case and then your eyes.

I loooove the modern renaissance palette so i wasn't worried that this palette wouldn't be just as amazing. Colors in this one are so pretty. You can also get so many different looks. Great video!

Am I the only one that doesn’t like purple on green/blue/grey eyes? I’m not as keen on this look on Tati and I’ve tried purple eye looks myself (my eyes are grey/blue) and it just does nothing for me. I think it looks far more stunning on girls with hazel and brown eyes

Oh thank the lord! I was scared you wouldn’t review this palette for a minute Tati. I go to you as my main makeup person because we seem to have a LOT of skin, hair, and health concerns. I watched Jefree star with it, but he can only give so much when his skin is VASTLY different from mine, which is mostly crazy oils and weird dry patches. Thank you!!!

You're so so right! I feel so overwhelmed with these constant launches- been trying lately to use my collection more and think thrice before buying yet another highlighter.
I wish brands would spend more time perfecting formula and shades and then come out with INCREDIBLE products. Especially for shade ranges for foundations- it is not acceptable that brands release a foundation with a super limited shade range and then tell us that "more are coming later". NO! If it's not ready, just wait with the release until all shades are perfected and ready!!!

For dark skin tones I feel like it could use a darker matte shade but really that’s it, I think it would look beautiful on deep skin. It would really pop with how pigmented all the shimmers are!

I know the makeup boogie man will come get me when I say this but here goes; Use the sponge tip applicators to apply the pressed glitters and shimmers, press and pull don’t pack or layer.

I just use fingers, but I can see the more siliconey sponge applicators getting the job done really well. I used to use those to smear on my boujee Elizabeth Arden eyeshadow back in the day and they packed a punch, especially with this emerald green shade I was obsessed with. Easily became my every day routine.

I waited until June to get my subculture palette and it was perfect. Barely any fallout and super pigmented and easy to blend shades. I’m pretty sure I just got a better batch since I waited so long. I’m definitely getting this palette tho 💜

Sonisha Rodriguez same formula, they just started pressing them harder after all the fuss. That's exactly why I grabbed mine from the first batch and don't know if I'll repurchase, I've got pan on a bit over half of mine but I need to check the new palettes out in person. I get to Sephora / Ulta like once a year, so I've been hoping someone would compare a newer one with one of the 'bad' ones and haven't had any luck seeing it done. It's a great formula, just not for everyone.

Hey Tati can you do a video on the rules for creating a look. Like why you pair colors from a pallet together. You always know what to pair with your eye look or how to bring it all together even when your look is a little out there.

Controversial opinion: Subculture was actually AWFUL and people who say it wasn't are just those people who want to stand out from the rest and they think having an opposite opinion on a controversial topic is the way to do so. Whenever there is something that's getting a lot of hate you'll always find those people who try to act like it's something good not because they actually think it's good but because they they want to be different.

i just bought subculture and I could noooot get it to work! i was so sad, i was hoping it would be different for me. the mattes would not stay on me or would completely change color. :( i love the colors so much, i wish theyd go back and change the formula
I love my subculture pallette. I got mine around launch and it works amazing and I still haven't hit pan on any shade. People on the internet were just being dramatic. Lol
patricia huffman just tap lightly into the pan. It's so pigmented that you can go 0- clown .035 seconds. I have to be careful since I'm basically a Savage.

I wish this palette would have worked for me 😭 it was just so patchy and there was an insane amount of kickup. I felt like I was wasting shadow EVERYTIME I dipped my brush in the pans.
See, I’ve had issues with this palette. 😭 The colors swatched well, but the mattes/satins were a little patchy for me. The pigmentation also faded almost immediately. I’m going to keep playing with it, though, because I wanted it to be amazing! Your video gives me hope.

I love this palette so very much!!! I was scared when I saw the title and thumbnail/image but am relieved you love it too!! In the winter I think you may be able to pull off the matte periwinkle shade. It looks like a bruise on some people, but on me I like it on my inner lower lash line

What? Periwinkle is a blue colour! Souls is described as wisteria which is a purple, its a flowering plant, do some googling and learn something before u correct ppl. Also Volatile in this palette is described by Tati as cool brown.....What planet do u ppl live on lol

I does look pretty BUT you didn't address the problem of the shimmer colors that look like they're breaking up just as badly as they did with the Subculture palette, just one look at those and you can see how broken up they are already.
