Can we cut the drain hose shorter at the drain end, and move the supporting U-bracket to the new end? My machine only needs like 2-3ft to get to the drain. 6ft is really an inconvenience to route around my other hoses and wall
Hello there! You can cut the drain hose of a front load washer shorter at the drain end and move the supporting U-bracket to the new end. However, the drain hose is designed to be flexible, allowing you to extend, shorten, fold, or unfold it as needed. You have the freedom to adjust it according to your needs. Also, we recommend referring the owner's manual for better good to know about its recommended length of the hose. -Junel
