I don’t know about a wallflower but there are book scents everywhere. Frost beard candles have well candles and wax melts. Demeter fragrances , Sweet tea apothecary , ALT fragrances and more. I love the smell of books my self. Lol
@Tracy I’ve tried Demeter and replica fragrances but both fail to represent the aged paper aspect of library smell for me. I guess it is really difficult to encompass the smell of hundreds of thousands of pieces of paper, all of different ages, mixed with the pheromones/sweat from thousands of peoples’ hands as each book was read (wow, that’s kinda gross reading that back to myself, lol). I’ll check out frost beard. Thx 4 the recommendations. They are greatly appreciated.

Also, I agree with you that the DM Yummy Skin blurring balm powder in the tub is a nifty little product. I continue to reach for it & I got the tinted shade that best matched my skin. I don’t have oily skin, I lean more dry/normal, but it is a great match for our HUMID Iowa summers ☀️🥵. Love you & your videos, Emily❣️❣️❣️

Reminds me SO MUCH of the Comfort Zone Color Icon palette from Wet N Wild. Seeing this new ABH palette made me dig out my Comfort Zone palette and play around with it again. I’ve gotten my kids used to going to the library and picking out books since they were young, but the only one who still goes with me is my daughter, who is my youngest. She’s 21 years old now. We like going to different libraries in the county when we’re in the neighborhoods. The nearest one to us is new and beautiful. It almost has a country architectural vibe, but inside is like a real library with arches and everything. The library is a baby yellow with white borders on the outside, which pulls you in every time.
I’m on a no-buy, but I still enjoy these new releases because they inspire me to create my own dupe using my huge collection of singles and depotted shades and play with a new color story. So far I’m really enjoying my dupe of this palette.

For anyone here reading about the Milani Sunscreen, I’ve tried so many spray sunscreens/primers/refreshers. Coolas worked so good but smelled so bad!! My favorite that I have repurchased every year since it’s came out is the Hawaiian Tropic AntiOxidant+ Mist SPF 30. I use it as a refresher to makeup/sun exposure etc and it does not break me out and smells fairly good. It’s a summer staple for me!👍🏻

I use the Milani sunscreen setting spray for touching up my sunscreen when I’m wearing makeup. It works well but it’s very fragrant. Would love to see what you think of the L’Oréal age perfect balm

I love the library. Used to ride my bike or walk with my Dad once a week to get books to read. I also love the way the books smells. I now collect antique books. Brings back memories. Nothing like reading a book, can’t read online.

When I saw those new Covergirl All Over Dewy Tints I thought you would be snatching those up to give us your thoughts! I'm glad you did because like you, I love blush, and there is not enough tint to those to satisfy me! I also do not like a cheek product that disturbs my foundation coverage so thank you for saving me some $$. I'm disappointed because Rosy Brown was calling to me... And YES! We absolutely love our local library! We have a branch within walking distance of our home that was built a few years ago and we go at least every 2 weeks. My oldest son (7) participates in their summer reading program where he sets a reading goal and earns prizes as he hits different hour milestones! I set out as a parent to instill a love of reading in my children and so far I have succeeded! My youngest (5 in two weeks) isn't quite reading yet, but he still grabs his favorites and 'reads" the stories he's memorized! So far I've seen mixed reviews on the new ABH palette. I personally don't spend that much on makeup products, but I do enjoy the color story of the palette. Maybe you could help us out with some more affordable palette options that have a similar color story? I definitely love the idea of a video for people afraid of color! Thanks again for a wonderful video! Keep being your gorgeous self! :)
Growing up in the 80s and 90s my mom always took us to the library for the summer reading program. Now as an adult I still do it and they offer laptops you can borrow while in the library to sit where you want and go online. I also love reading the magazines of National Geographic, Discovery, etc.

Mallys face defender is a fantastic product .I fell in love with product because of you. And Nyx matte but not flat powder foundation. They are great on my oily skin.
As you were describing and showing that Peacock shade I was wondering where would that look best on the eye? It would be cool if you did a video all about color placement for eye looks and how putting pops of color in different parts of the lid effect the overall eye look.

Commodity fragrance makes perfumes called “Book” and “Paper”! I haven’t tried those scents but I wonder if they have that same library smell

Enjoy your 'free time' while your babies are with your parents! As a parent- it is extremely important to me that my adult kids get alone time with their spouses away from their kids. Plus we LOOOVE our alone time with our grandkids!! Its good all around.❤ Nothing better than grandbabies! Nothing.

I was so hoping you would get this palette so I could see what would Emily do with this color story! I just got it yesterday and can't wait to use it today.
When I saw those new Covergirl All Over Dewy Tints I thought you would be snatching those up to give us your thoughts! I'm glad you did because like you, I love blush, and there is not enough tint to those to satisfy me! I also do not like a cheek product that disturbs my foundation coverage so thank you for saving me some $$. I'm disappointed because Rosy Brown was calling to me...
And YES! We absolutely love our local library! We have a branch within walking distance of our home that was built a few years ago and we go at least every 2 weeks. My oldest son (7) participates in their summer reading program where he sets a reading goal and earns prizes as he hits different hour milestones! I set out as a parent to instill a love of reading in my children and so far I have succeeded! My youngest (5 in two weeks) isn't quite reading yet, but he still grabs his favorites and 'reads" the stories he's memorized!
So far I've seen mixed reviews on the new ABH palette. I personally don't spend that much on makeup products, but I do enjoy the color story of the palette. Maybe you could help us out with some more affordable palette options that have a similar color story? I definitely love the idea of a video for people afraid of color!

Growing up in the 80s and 90s my mom always took us to the library for the summer reading program. Now as an adult I still do it and they offer laptops you can borrow while in the library to sit where you want and go online. I also love reading the magazines of National Geographic, Discovery, etc.

I just have to say that I love all your videos. I’ve watched so many different UA-camrs and yours is always the one I have to watch and look forward to. I feel like you’re the most relatable person and you just are always a positive force which is what we need more in this world. I love how you mix up drugstore and high end so everyone has an opportunity to make a beautiful face. And even when you don’t like a product or it doesn’t work for you, you’re not dramatic about it and you’re just honest. I’ve bought so many things you recommended or tried out. Mallys face defender is a fantastic product .I fell in love with product because of you. And Nyx matte but not flat powder foundation. They are great on my oily skin.
As you were describing and showing that Peacock shade I was wondering where would that look best on the eye? It would be cool if you did a video all about color placement for eye looks and how putting pops of color in different parts of the lid effect the overall eye look.

I had such a long and hectic week and my husband was sweet and told me to sleep in and then I woke up to this notification I got super excited!!!
Emily - I can't believe the girls are cheerleaders already! They were just so tiny! My two granddaughters are both in cheer. Lots of work but they've been to Disney twice to compete and have won! I'm here for your perpetually fabulous eyelooks!!! I love my Hazel eyes but brown seems more flexible!!! Plus, you're just great at application.
