Sakuyamon let's gooooo! Love this deck, trying to make it work and it's funny when it does. I try it with Blast Fire which has the fun effect of turning something to 3K which means instant death with 2 inherits or an EX2 Sakuya, but your deck is probably more consistent. Gonna try it out!
@@AbsoluteAtlas Actually I'd chose to run Omni before Ruin. Ruin deleting it's stack is a big cost for a Sakuyamon deck. Omni just dedigivolving is much easier.
@@AbsoluteAtlas I prefer Merciful because unlike Ruin Mode, it doesn't delete it's stack. Though with BT17 now out, Shinegreymon Burst Mode ACE is a very strong contender
I know it isn't your guys fault but as a new player who mostly has to engage with this game through UA-cam and a local once a month. It is so boring and disheartening to see decks like these. It's yellow make sure you have shinegrey ruin. Its purple make sure you have deathx and shinegrey ruin, its green make sure you have quartz, its any other color, make sure half your deck is omnimons. Archetypes and tribals barely exist they are just flavor to see who can get into their generic level 7 fastest. The tournament results especially feel like that. Sorry just venting really do love the content. And yes I do understand that I am being a bit hyperbolic but not as much as I wish I was being.
This entire deck: All Sakuyamon/Rika except for two Ruin MOde. This dude: "Archetypes don't exist and half the deck is Ruin!" Uh sure bud. Whatever you say
@@EskChan19 Me: I know I'm being hyperbolic. Some Metabot on the Internet: hype-what-now? Anyway that's a big word you guys see how much this dude is exaggerating! Yeah an ounce of self awareness whatever...
You’re going to have staple cards in every card game. Ruin mode and DeathX are good counters to wide boards, Omnimon from BT5 is good for closing games with rush etc. Any card game will have these generic splashable cards. Just the nature of the game. The only fix is having rotating sets which we definitely don’t want in Digimon.
I’m new too but staples exist not only in every card game but in every game period. In pokemon you have kingambit on any offense team, in league you run flash and smite almost always, in yu-gi-oh you always [had] baronne if u can synchro, or zeus if u can xyz
Personally I prefer using Omnimon Merciful Mode over Ruin Mode. Yes Ruin Modes Recovery+1 is great but it's biggest issue is that after it is done, it deletes it's entire stack. Sakuyamon decks want a lot of big stacks for all the inheritables. If you delete your own stack that's a massive cost. Merciful Mode just dedigivolves itself after it's done, leaving the stack in tact. I also don't run Memory Boosts or Trainings just because the Renamons already give a lot of memory, you will mainly digivolve uding Digivolution Plug-In for free anyway, so memory isn't really a factor in this deck, but with so many cards of different colors, their searches fizzle way too often. Gennai also seems like a waste, since he too fizzles any search and while yes, getting to look for a digimon and tamer is nice, virtually all our Renamons already do that. The Sakuyamon Deck I currently use is: 4x Viximon (EX2) 4x Renamon EX2 4x Renamon EX4 4x Renamon BT10 4x Kyubimon BT10 4x Youkomon EX4 4x Taomon EX2 2x Taomon BT10 3x Sakuyamon EX2 3x Sakuyamon Maid Mode BT10 2x Omnimon Merciful Mode BT9 4x Rika Nonaka EX2 2x Offensive Plug-In A EX2 2x High-Speed Plug-In D EX2 2x Pause Plug-In P Promo 4x Digivolution Plug-In S EX2 2x Defense Plug-In C BT10 I am going to look at slotting a Kazemon and maybe Magnaangemon ACE, and I am still fiddling with the Plug-In Spread, currently I'm thinking about cutting down on the High-Speed Plug-In and Defense Plug-In and slot another Pause Plug-In (or maybe add a Kazemon and Magnaangemon Ace for those two Plug-Ins instead). But that's up to your personal preferences. The strat is obviously building a lot of bodies for the inheritables, using Renamons to gain memory, Viximon to draw cards, a lot of -DP effects to keep the board clear, and rely heavily on Rika and Digivolution Plug-Ins to digivolve mainly for free. That's why I have the BT10 Kyubimon a lot for more draw power or to recycle Digivolution Plug-Ins. Ideally you can build up to EX2 Taomon to play your Rikas. In the best case you'll never pay for Rika, and once Rika hits the field you'll barely ever have to pay for digivolving. If the enemy plays a big threat that you cannot get rid of with -DP inheritables you have the Pause Plug-In and if that also isn't enough that's where Omnimon comes in.
As a fellow Sakuyamon coper i love to see others fighting the same fight. Those alt art lvl 6s were worth it
B17 gives sakuyamon support

Shining burst is a 4 cost option that applies minus 3k to the board for a turn. Kuzuha and maid mode can play it for free and it helps vs nume a lot.
I think the card is Purge Shine. I never realized it was a blanket effect.
Only 2 evo plug in is kinda wild
Testing this in bt16 meta and it’s funny how it can shut down or find ways around magna
Yeah. Amor Purge doesn't help if you get deleted by having 0 DP.
Two Ruin Modes OOOF
I feel that, but always understand because the card is just so good
Omni merciful would be my next choice

You make it purple with Mimi, hybrids and jogress lvl 5
Four great dragons when?
course Sakuyamon gets a lot of plug ins. HA
I’m too poor for this deck
Card slash

Honestly there's a lot wrong with this take ik alot of decks that don't need to play level 7s and do just fine
