- Bill se v roce 2003 zúčastnil castingové show Sat.1 "Star Search", kde v osmifinále vystupoval se songem "It's Raining Man". Do dalšího kola se ale na základě bodů od poroty a diváků nedostal.
No one in that studio would have imagined that this cute and nice kid would become in a recognized worldwide star.
That is exactly what i had in my mind when i saw this. Its so funny because i saw this 2003 on TV...2 years later he started a huge hype and NO ONE could imagine that in the studio :D

Naja er hat meiner Meinung , auch später bei Tokio Hotel ,nie die lendäre Stimme gehabt , aber er konnte halt mit seinen Texten und dem Aussehen überzeugen . Das Problem jedoch insgesamt bei Tokio Hotel im vgl. zu anderen Bands ist jedoch , dass die Band sich übels schnell Preis zu Preis abgestaubt hat. Bei Bands , bei dennen der Erfolg langsam kam gab es für die Fans auch deshalb immer wieder ein Grund die Band jahrelang zu hören . Da Tokio Hotel jedoch sehr schnell alle Erfolge abgeräumt hat führte das dazu , dass die Fans immer "müder" von der Band werden könnten , da sich ja nichts vom Erfolg der Band verändert und die Band schon alles erreicht hat.

Die Jungs haben Konzerte in den größten Arenen Europas gegeben, waren nicht nur in Deutschland, sondern auch Österreich, Frankreich und in der Schweiz. Ich selber bin kein Fan von Tokio Hotel, aber für das, was sie erreicht haben und das ist schon mehr als manch anderer, sollte man ihnen schon Respekt zollen.

Alex x It's easier to lose your accent when singing. Most people will always maintain a bit of an accent when speaking. I still hear his a little in this song, though. Generally, I think he does a really good job when singing in English compared to other German singers.

Bill ist der geborene Performer und er war damals schon sehr eloquent und selbstsicher , dass die Intonation noch nicht wirklich sicher war , tut dem Ganzen keinen Abbruch ,.......gut performen und die richtige Intonation zu schaffen ist nicht so einfach , das muss man lernen ..manche Erwachsene schaffen es nie beides zusammen gut hinzubekommen.
Sometimes I miss the old Bill from Tokyo Hotel compared to how adult he is nowadays. But actually Bill still has the same essence as in this video. He dances the same, he expresses what he thinks and he steals the show 😂 In the end, he's still the same!
