I think that the heart is naturally filled with vengeance. Just remember whenever thoughts of vengeance occur that vengeance belongs to the Lord, and we are commanded to forgive. Just the other day, I was having vengeful thoughts about my former boss, and I was tempted to write a terrible review of my experience working at his establishment. I did publish the review and swore in my heart "I told you I'd come after you. I'm just keeping my promise." but shortly after that I erased my review because I reminded myself that this is not what God would want me to do.
I imagined what might happen if his business failed because of my review somehow... he and his family would lose everything, and his marriage might end, and his children would be adversely affected... and the other members of the staff would be out of jobs, and some of them might get deported back to a dangerous country, some might not make rent... and some might be put out onto the street, get addicted to drugs, die in an alleyway etc etc etc... ripple effects, you know? Our form of vengeance has many unintended and terrible side effects which we can't foresee and which do not work together for the good of anyone.
So I'm no expert, no teacher, nobody really... but if God could speak through me, He would probably say that, for every thought of vengeance you have... follow it with a thought of mercy and forgiveness. Lord, forgive them, for they know not what they do. That's the truth, ain't it?
Surrender to Jesus and each of us can do the impossible, even the bishop had to seek Holy Spirit power to forgive, as Christ has forgiven us, us all who deserved death.
Forgiveness is hard. I struggle too. It is only when I look to Jesus and recognise MY sin, MY offense, MY law breaking put him on a cross and He chose to forgive me, love me, restore me, wash me in his goodness and righteousness that this love of Jesus conquers my hard heart and begins to transform it to be a heart that loves and forgives those who have offended me. Who am I to cling to self righteous indignation when I have been loved and forgiven so much? God's love in Christ can transform the hardest heart. I shall pray for you. God bless and keep you on your journey of loving Jesus more and more.

Bishop Mar Mari is a living Saint. The Australian government, whose prime minister and foreign minister have inadvertently exposed their disdain towards Israel and the Australian Jewish population, are trying very hard to stop the bishop's attack video from being shown, not only in Australia, but all around the world. Gives you an idea of the spiritual mess this country is in!
The Bishops sermon was incredible (the English parts anyway). There are people I've met in my life that just exude the love of Christ and the bishop seems to be one.
A powerful testament to the workings of God and how He turns what is meant for evil into what is good.
On a more sombre note, this is also a stark reminder that despite us laughing at and memeing the Dawah Guys, the danger posed by their teachings and rhetoric is very clear and very present.
Love Mar Mari, God certainly protected him.
