One tip for creating a flange at other side of the pipe. define the plane at 45 degree in your geometry then mirror the flange from other end. it works fast.
Thanks for the video.. How do you make your parts shiny and really good image quality? I have also improved my image quality to "max" as you did in the beginning of the video, but I did not notice any difference in the image
Hi, i think that your 3D modeling its awesome, but i want to know how can u use it in a real exercise of piping/routing modeling on SW? I apreciate any answer about that, many times I tried to charge an self-modeled elbow to the SW Routing Library but in the moment to charge my elbow and generate my piping system, its giveme an error and don't let me do the pipingsystem, I can charge it in the library but it doesn't work at the practice.
Also he used a metric thread, for pipes it should be a Withworth thread. But anyway the point of the video is to teach how to make such operations in Solidworks, like sweeping circular profile, threads and such.
I was just trying to do this in solidworks but my path line was a construction line. It would not do it. The sketch of the profile path had to be a solid line. Not sure why solidworks cares.
thank you so much, I'm just learning solidworks and this is really helpful, thanks!
Love your consistent uploads!!

Excuse me, at 1:31 when you click on the Swept boss/base button, I can't do that, because I have blocked that button. Can you help me?
(I have solidworks 2013)
Did you cut a straight thread? It should be taper?

Can someone explain, why there is right hand thread on one side and left hand thread on the other side??
Exclent.sir
Thanks
Gracias pa
