Thanks so much for your helpful video! Gym is closed due to coronavirus and my girlfriend and I are going nuts with cabin fever, got a used E25 on Craigslist that jumps the track a bit and your video has made fixing so much clearer!
Drew Chapman Wow, thanks. Glade you found it helpful. Let me know if you need any supplies and don’t forget to subscribe. Thanks Dave 😁
Thanks no banging my head anymore
You guys rock. I tried to tighten the leg, but still the same issue. Call you guys and ordered the upgraded rail. Received and installed within a few days. Have not had an issue with the leg jumping yet! Sole should have made these from the start. Thank you!!!
So glad I found this! I just about ready to get rid of mine! I am definitely ordering the rails so I can actually really get some use out of mine!
That’s Great just input your serial number to Fitnesspartspro .com or send it to us at Fitnesspartspro@ gmail and we will look it up for you

You saved my elliptical, thank you!
@@FitnessTechnologyServices I would like to order the part to keep the wheel on track. For a Sole E35. How can I order?
Once again, great straight forward content and easy to follow. My question is why is this not a warranty or design flaw related issues? I don't believe that the customer should have to pay for an upgraded track assembly for the single rail model when it appears as though the new track has a lip to keep the roller in place which probably should have been designed into the product in the first place. Paying $40 for something that isn't the customer's issue doesn't make sense to me as an I myself am an engineer.
Thanks for the compliment and watching my video. In general I agree with you, I’m just a field technician and have no input in design. There are some models you can purchase that way. I think this is a cause n effect. The old e20’s and 25’s have plastic bushings where the wheel pedal arm mounts to crank arm in front, which would wear out with use. I believe the upgraded lip was designed to make up for that. You can see this in one of my videos. As for why they charge for it ??
Couldn’t tell ya. If you haven’t subscribed yet please do. Thanks Dave
I'm so glad I found this page. I emailed them and they replied right back. Can't wait to get the upgraded rails for my Sole e25. Thanks!
Hello, I was wondering if you could share the email you used to contact them?
Very clear, concise and easy-to-follow instructional video! Thank you! Ordering from your store today.
This is exactly what I needed, thanks! I order the rail and bushings, hopefully that solves my issue.
I wish I'd found you before I ordered parts :(
I hope you'll see this comment and question.
First, thanks for the video.
Second, I own a Sole E25, four rails, not two. Love the machine, but have had lots of issues with severed wires connecting the ramp and resistance controls in the arms to the main console (wires I need to replace at some point, but since the console controls still work, and I do everything by program, the severed wires aren't an issue).
The OTHER issue I have with the E25 is squeals along the rails. Only the right wheel of each pair, when facing forward on the machine, stays in contact with its rail throughout its motion forward and back. The result is a serious squeal that I can tame for a few minutes with silicone lubricant, but since the problem is in each wheel's physical connection to its rail, the squeal always returns. (NOTE: The wheels never fall off their rails)
What causes such squeals, and how can I improve the connection between the other wheel of each and its rail, which I think would stop the squeal? Would adjusting the levelers help?
Hello thanks so much for you support. On the wheels not touching completely it is a very common issue you could try adjusting the nut /bolt connections that hold the leg to the crank disk mounting bushing .I don’t think levelers will help . But worth a try , on sound this should have nothing to do with wheels not touching and would have to do with what type silicone you are using spray will not work to thin . On this you should use the sole lube or at least some thing softer , you can see this in my video sole Elliptical maintenance if you are using sole lube you may need to change wheels. I have this on my web if needed wwwfitnesspartspro.com and if want you can email us at fitnesspartspro@gmail for more help
@@FitnessTechnologyServices Thank you for your helpful reply. I've just ordered a tube of the Sole lube from you in hopes that it will provide a better result than the spray silicone that I have been using. I'll send any additional communication on this issue, including the results from my use of the Sole lube and any other adjustments I make to the machine, to the email address you've provided. Thanks again.
Any repairs on Eddy mechanism? Sole have any internal cheap plastic components ?
I bought a used E25, I would like to reset to default settings on the users 1 & 2 - Can you help?
Sorry I couldn’t find a answer on that I will ask sole next time I talk to them
I have an epic a32e elliptical keeps falling off the rails. Can I buy an upgraded rail Left and right side please.
Thank you for this video, it has been helpful. I have an e25 model with a single wheel on each side. My issue is that as the roller moves back along the rail it goes out of alignment towards the outside. On some days it will stay on the track, but oftentimes it sill fall of to the outside. What would cause the alignment to be off and how can I fix it. Thanks
Send me your serial number to fitnesspartspro@gmail.com and I will see if your unit takes an upgraded rail
Where can I order the rail so the wheel won't pop off?
Fitnesspartspro.com or you can email me at Fitnesspartspro@ gmail.com or you can call 410-286-5566
Thank you for this. I have a Sole E25. It has two wheels, but instead of a split two piece rail just a one piece rail. Do you sell the piece for that, too?
Thanks for watching my videos. I sell them and can get you a price if you can send me your serial number. If not sure where to find it, you can watch my video how to find my sole elliptical serial number the link is : ua-cam.com/video/gsZfnrKNeBM/v-deo.html. Thanks Dave
hello im having this problem with my sole e25 single rail model. Do you know where i can buy these upgraded rails and new bushings? Thx
Hey did the upgraded rails and bushings work for you. I was so excited about this machine but after one work out the left leg kept jumping off track.
My epic a32e does the same thing. Do you think its the bushing or something else and do you sell parts for this?
I am sorry I don’t know the epic . But on most icon ellipticals they are fixed by the bushings I don’t carry epic parts (yet)
I have an Xterra FS5.4e how would I go about seeing if you have the guards for this and how can I order them. Thanks

Hi Dave , some great videos , I have a nordic tracl E9.5 and have the issue of the roller jumping off the rails , all the bearings are the enclosed ball bearings and seem ok with no play , is there a replacment rail made for this type ? do you know if i can get this in the uk ? and what the part number would be please ?
Hmm I haven’t been able to find a support in the UK 🇬🇧 for Nordic. There is a sole dealer called Boyles Fitness equipment. If you want send me a pic of your rear ramp and wheels I will see if I can help. Send me your serial number to Fitnesspartspro@ gmail.com and a picture of ramp
Where do I get these tracks
You can put your serial number on my web page and it should pull up fitnesspartspro.com if not just email it to fitnesspartspro@gmail.com and. Office will help
Thanks lot for the video. I'm shopping for a new elliptical and found many people are complaining about Sole E25 for this issue. Is it due to a design or quality defect of Sole? Shall I stay away from it? Any other brand you recommend in the same price range?
Well I think it’s as good as any in price range . It’s very sturdy heavy which is what you want. You should always go with a double wheel ramp . And as long of warranty as you can get/buy unless you want to get into much higher price range. Hope this helps Dave
The frame on my e25 is welded at a left slant so it’s super unstable and falls off all the time. I tried to repair it and got it repaired like 3 times. Still falling. It’s super disappointing.
Please send link to buy one
Paul Tuakalau Hi Paul I think I have already responded but just in case send me your serial # to fitnesspartspro @gmail.com
My sole E35's incline assembly's fingers appear to be lower on the left than on the right. Would I purchase two of these aluminum inserts to make the right side level with the left? What is the solution when one side is off?
Hmm More than likely the frame is cracked that the rails mount to
@@FitnessTechnologyServices I think the center console is crooked. It makes the whole machine seem unlevel. I leveled the elliptical as precisely as possible and then manually bent the center console. The heart rate monitor handles are also welded improperly to the frame and are off center. So far as I can tell, the peddles are level.
Hi, what can you do if your wheel is not staying on the rack vertically? When I go fast my wheel pops up off the track and slams back down.
This is some times fixed by adjusting the bolt that connects the wheel leg to the axel disk .If this bolt is too tight it binds some .When weight is forward and less weight is over rear
Can you do a video that shows how to fix if the issue is with the metal piece that contains the bushings? The left one on my machine slides off every time the pedal is used. Already replaced the bushings.
jaime pryor I would think the threads in the axel / crossbar are bad try putting locktite ( blue ) on the threads on the bolt that holds bushing to axel or call 410 286 5566 for more help Thanks Dave
@@FitnessTechnologyServices Thanks I will try that. It does not seem like anything actually secures that metal piece with the bushing onto the machine, it slides off right over the bolt and the washer
jaime pryor Hmm try using a larger washer if you can send me a pic or video to fitness medics @ g mail . Com
I just bought a Sole 25 elliptical last week and is making a popping noise that looks like is coming from the left side of the wheel. Do you have any idea how can I fix it?
Most often this is cause by a loose connection at the lower handle to pedal leg .I have a video showing connection in my maintenance video. But sometimes the pad in the pedal pops
How do I order the aluminum rails? I have a singular Sole e25.
Just send us your serial # to fitnesspartspro@gmail.com so I can which rail you need Dave
Mi maquina E20-25 se le salen las ruedas de su lugar, podría ponerle esa parte?
Do the upgrade rails work for a Bodygaurd e-45 machine. I just bought it used and it jumps off the track rather easy. The company is closed because of Covid 19....not sure if I can get any parts. Can you help?
joseph telese I am not sure don’t know about bodyguard send me a pic of ramp and wheels I will see if I can help ! fitnesspartspro @ Gmail .com
Do you have an aluminum rail for Pro form?:
I would need a good pic. See my video on the same issue for Nordic Track. Nordic and Proform . Are about the same if yours is the same set up as video it should work
Completed the maintenance suggested, however left wheels continue to work their way off the double tracks after 5-10 revolutions. Each double track is made from a single piece of aluminum. Model is E25 from 2006 or so. Any other suggestions?
The next step is to check the bushings that hooks the pedal leg to front drive disk . If this bushing housing gets worn it causes excess play and can make leg jump .
I’m having issues with my E35. It’s brand new. Outside wheel doesn’t touch the aluminum rail. I can see daylight between them. Also the foot pedal on the same side almost touches the main counsel. Something has to be bent at the factory but I can see where
Thanks for the video. I just bought a new E25. It is shown as a 2021 model. My problem is when I pedal backgrounds, it is perfectly fine. When I pedal forward in a slow speed, it is also fine. It is only when I pedal faster, the wheel falls in. Do you have any suggestions?
This is hard to say when you pedal fast with little or no resistance it does this . It is like riding your bike in the high gear the chain can’t keep up with your speed it is being over pedal I am not sure you can fix this ? But I would report it to sole
@@FitnessTechnologyServices I would not say I pedal fast. I am logging 11 mins per mile. Also, do you know how I can find the serial number of E25? I followed the user manual but the picture of E25 does not match mine. When I called Sole, they said they could not help

It depends on your model. If the wheel itself is moving check to see if a washer or spacer is missing

I have a Sole e20 and the left green roller / wheel keeps coming off rail. It starts squeaking really loud right before it comes off. I ordered a new wheel and a new cover the wheel glides on from what I thought was the Sole company. I can see they shipped an 'L' shape cover - will that work? Seems the groove in the cover would hold the wheel on, but it's not the same as other side. My machine works great except for that - which, well...keeps it from working great LOL Just come to Arkansas and fix mine -ha ha ha!
Well thanks for subscribing the wheel cover never holds the wheel on normally it’s a c-clip or hex head bolt send me a pic to fitnessmedics@gmail.com
Thanks Dave
Since these issues are all design defects, will the horrible Xterra cover these costs? I spent a lot of money I this to have it not work. Everything is tight and assembled properly and it’s barely been used. Xterra should be ashamed.
Well you would have to talk to Xterra about cost 1800-258-8511 but leg jumping off is a common problem on all ellipticals well most ? Proform Nordic all that use rear wheel drive
Thanks. I bought a used Sole 25 a couple of months ago and started having this problem. After finding this supplemental video (I had watched your other great one on maintenance and was glad to find this one on my specific problem), I discovered my problem. It was simply that the connection between the swing arm and the back wheel had come loose. My bearing was fine. Admittedly, it was a simple fix I should have figured out on my own but after encountering your helpful video, I had the confidence to try to fix it myself rather than living with it periodically collapsing. You might not realize just how thick-headed some of us who have no mechanical talent can be. Actually, thinking about it more, you've probably found that to be the rule rather than the exception for customers who bring heavy ellipticals to your shop to fix when they could have just done it themselves and saved the trip..Thanks much.
Well my pleasure always
