Eventually he played 4. The last was in the story written by the rogue author who put them into reversed roles where Snow and Charming were evil and Regina was a bandit in the woods.
Yeah but only him playing David and him playing James ever actually appeared at the same time together onscreen.
There was also the curse of shattered sight. He was still David but a mean version so might as well have been a different character. Lol
Jennifer got pissed off when that woman said "your work is easier" lol

Couldn’t Henry have just proven the curse to Emma by showing her old yearbook photos or whatever with people staying the same age over decades?
Because photos like that didn't exist and the curse kept them stuck in a way that left them with no evidence of the curse - at least not until Emma broke the curse and things got unstuck.
Almost all of the characters who've had alternate versions have met themselves.
the kids in henry’s class didn’t look 4 or 5. they looked 10, like henry so how does that work?

well when you're a kid and you move up each grade not everyone is going to go to the exact teachers you are so he probably met kids of all ages. Literally the entire enchanted forest got cursed, I bet they had kids of all ages going to different classes and grades. When you're little you don't realize your peers aren't aging with you, plus kids can be 6, 7, 8, and 9 and still look roughly the same age. so they all probably moved up a grade but didn't age. kind of like in twilight that Edward was eternally 17 but when they move town to town they start off in as low a grade as they can and then stay until they're in their mid to late twenties or until they can no longer lie about their age.
Well he has played David and James both and we see James in the under world in a later season 😉
omg watching this 5 seasons later, oh memories, I almost feel jealous of the people who come in watching the show for the first time now! So many wonderful adventures ahead! I feel as if this coming half season could be the last it seems as if, despite recent claims from ABC season 6 could very well be the last season. They better make it good! I know 6 seasons is a fabulous run but I feel 1 more season 7 would be what they need to perfectly wrap up the show! THere are so many things that need tying up and/or elaborating!!!

The cast is really fun and out-going people. You can tell that they're like a big family on set and off just be watching them on video clips and reading their tweets. I can watch them talk for hours with their questions and i wouldn't mind. And I think that's a blessing, because i watch a lot of shows, but this one particularly really interacts with everyone. And as far for Henry and Emma, they're grown up outside the enchanted forest and they don't really have a past history with the whole fairy tale stories expect that she (Emma) was born there with her parents Prince Charming and Snow. So, it makes sense that they're the ones who've been aging and not the whole town because it has been cursed.

i think the reason Henry ages and Emma is able to come in and out is because they never existed in the fairy tale land. They were never technically cursed so time still moves for them and they are able to leave and come in. Those that are cursed don't age and can't leave. Rumple found Henry for Regina, there is a line in an earlier episode where we find this out. That's how Henry got in, and he got Emma in. People outsides StoryBrook don't know about (also in an early episode)

That question has been bugging me as well. =/ No one can see Storybrook and enter it except the savior. Maybe because he's the savior's son, maybe that's why he was able to come into Storybrook.. Just guessing. Dunno really.. xD I hope they clear that out in season 3. Some more insight into what was happening before Emma came into town.:))

Ok where did Regina adopt Henry from if no one is allowed out of storybrooke???
She created the town, obviously there are no bounderies for her, I guess.
She's not a victim of the curse. It is only them who don't know who they are. She has her memories, but was good at faking it for a good long while.

It's because it's how Regina made it, like same day, everyday. It's in one of the episodes in Season 2. ;)

Beauty is only skin deep Dearie. I resent people who watches this show for 'hotness'. Rumplestiltskin is not 'hot' in the least, but the most beautiful and intriguing character on this show. The depth Robert Carlyle brings keeps me transfixed weekly. It must be magic!
@Iheartcorgis77 it's what one of the producers explained, that he noticed everyone not aging. He's right about when you're young you don't notice that no one's growing up. ;)
I think Henry grew up because he was born outside of Storybrooke and he isn't part of the fairytales/curse. And also, he grew up with Regina. Who knows what "magic" was in there even if they said that there is no magic then.
im confused wouldnt henry have noticed that paige/grace (Jeffersons daughter) wasnt aging at all?
