best way to learn about rap is listen to the classic albums, there a biopic movie “straight outta Compton” about it all, by the time you done with this the channel will be “rap head dude reacts to metal”
MrDenaun Porter It was when Suge and his goons went to see Eazy and get Dre released from Ruthless. Suge all but admitted it on Kimmels show when he got out of prison back in '03.
Dre broke contract and left ruthless records (eazy record label) so when dre's album came out, eazy got a percentage of sales. So when he says "dre day only made eazys payday" that's what he meant lol
Yes, but Dre started to see what Cube was talkin' about and wanted to leave too. Ice Cube was the real one and didn't give af (imo). In the end, they all turned out to be pretty damn successful though. It's all good. I liked all of them for their own individual talents. I miss those days.
Yep. When people react to a song and literally just sit there bobbing their heads the whole time, then give 15 seconds of closing commentary, it’s like what’s the point lol.
Green Dreams Ren too, they both belonged to the rolling 20 crips(if I remember the name of the gang correctly but they were both in the same one whatever the name was)
Rollin 20s are located in Long Beach. as far as i know Snoop belonged to them. Eazy and Ren are/were from Compton and were affiliated to the Kelly Park Compton Crips.
Green Dreams I have do disagree I love eazy e but ice cube and eazy e are the realist gangstas Edit: my bad guys I just remember ice cube said “Has long has I wasn’t gang banging or other shit” But he’s still a hard and real dude
Those pix of Dre were from his first group"World Class Wreckin Crew" back in the early 80's, and that's just how they dressed on stage. This was right on the heels of the disco era.
Metal Biker Dude Reacts I had to watch this throwback! It’s my second favorite! My favorite of a time is your reaction to Dr. Dre’s Chronic Album. Especially when you reacted to “Little Ghetto Boy.” My only problem is that I can’t seem to find it!
Easy E won even if he hadn’t make the song, dre pretended to be what easy e was irl😂 so thats a win by default already since dre idolised easy e so much

I don't think they were mocking Dre. IMO that's just the sound of the West Coast. Dre wasn't a real street dude. The pics were probably from the mid to late 80s from when he did more pop music/dance music. And Easy killed this track. Way better than Dre Day to me because it had facts.
All Star 1 fact lol. The rest was just talk. Eazy talked about him faking for the music, how he used to be a dancer, how Suge was doing him and others dirty at death row, and the Dre was abusing women.
@DJ Fair but there is a difference between doing it and rapping about it. The majority of things rappers rap about they shouldn't do and many don't. You are probably right about it still being hypocritical though.
That’s a real picture of Dre, as much as I like Dre he wasn’t a gangster like eazy, the only reason Dre became a rapper is because eazy and his crack money lol
Not to mention, he made it clear that any response would be pointless with "the same records that you're making is paying me" and "Dre Day only meant Eazy's payday". At this point Dre was stuck between a rock and a hard place, as any diss that he put his name on would prove Eazy's point. Edit: the reason why I'm saying that is, Eazy-E managed to get Dre to agree to a contract that stated that until the original Ruthless contract expired, Dre could only jump ship to Death Row is part of his albums' sales went to Ruthless. So yeah, Eazy-E got some sweet dough out of Fuck Wit Dre Day.
I really enjoyed this reaction vid lol! Just a few things that you needed cleared up: First, In reference to 9:47, Dre and Snoop are talking about Luther Campbell aka Luke or sometimes known as "Uncle Luke" from Miami based rap group "2 Live crew." The genesis of that beef is based around a comment that Luke had made in a magazine about Dre and Death Row sometime in late 1992 which is why he's marginally mentioned on this track along with Eazy. They mentioned the gap in his teeth because in those days and even now, Luke has a very pronounced and noticeable gap in both the top and bottom set of his teeth. Also, Luke and 2 Live crew were famous for rocking bomber style jackets, hints what the character had on in the video. In reference to 14:32, YES that is a legit pic of Dr. Dre in the very beginning phase of his career during his time with R&B group "World class wreckin' crew." Back in the early 80's, Dre was the mix master spinning records for them in the background. Finally in reference to 19:59, that particular lyric is based around Suge Knight's treatment of his underlings and business associates, as it's now public knowledge that violence broke out on damn near a daily basis at Death Row due to Suge's inability to separate his street mentality from his blooming business sense at that time. Now in 2022, Death Row as a property has been acquired by Snoop as of February.

Luke (Luther Campbell) was someone who Dre had some beef with. Campbell was the one who brought in a rap duo called "2-Live-Crew", a controversial rap group out of Miami in the early 90s. At the same time, Snoop Dogg was going at a rapper called Tim Dog, someone from the Bronx who made a song called "F--- Compton".

I’m just a couple minutes into this video. The host doesn’t seem to know much. Some of what he’s saying is not even true. Note: the manager is supposed to be Jerry Heller. Snoop’s introduction was on the Deep Cover single. Dr. Dre had been doing music production for some time before this song.

Besides 2pac(my favorite), you had Eazy and Bone Thugs, Dre, Snoop and later Eminem--what an awesome time to era or rap, top notch stuff.
Geez everyone’s suggesting really good music, I like your chats style.
Onetime 4-Real they were supposedly doing song together for Eazys double album but Eazy passed before that could happen
@Onetime 4-Real He never thought of signin' him and I can't really picture that, they just don't match, no one fits as a component to him than Dre, same style music, leaders of their record labels, came out of Compton and grew up with eachother, as Eazy bein' the original Hip-Hop thugsta and Dre the marijuana G-funk master, that would blend well
I’m just a couple minutes into this video. The host doesn’t seem to know much. Some of what he’s saying is not even true.
Note: the manager is supposed to be Jerry Heller. Snoop’s introduction was on the Deep Cover single. Dr. Dre had been doing music production for some time before this song.
You are GREAT dude. Please do an immortal technique-dance with the devil reaction. It’s definitely best storytelling track ever, deep lyrics and great overall
The flow to that song is boring tho
