People need to invest there and build nice hotels along that beautiful coastal line. Berbera is also close to Capital city HARGEISA so new train system will work well between these two cities
What they also need to invest in is something more rewarding : places and schools for all the children that are diabled in many ways . These children never or rarely see the outside world .
@Mustapha Saeed Majority of people investing in Somaliland are for private gains. They build mosques after mosques, sometimes three or four in the same area. but nothing is built for children who never see the daylight because of their disability. Personal experience on the ground that is.
The beach near Beach Hotel also popular with locals instead of driving to Maansoor. People generally drive slower than in Hargeisa but equally most never have attended or taken a driving course .you may have missed a visit by the jetty where the fish comes fresh early morning after Aamal Fish shop. ATM is used by a minority of people just like those in Hargeisa to be fair. And the roads and all the improvements in Berbera are possibly a consequence of DP world building the port infrastructure.
