I was so sick of every single one of these remakes/covers always missing the growl in the background around 6:50, I have to imagine that's what the original sound was meant to be even if it was just the bass. Since I first heard that in the original it is just the epic sound I imagine it would make, echoing against the mountains and sky as it finally arrives...and none of the other covers have it! I was so excited when I heard it here! Edit: Just got to the end to hear the rest, HELL yeah
Great cover! You also slightly altered the bass fills I think, which is always a plus in a cover. Plus this time orchestra arrangement does complement the original song, S&M version kind of lacked that in my opinion
Love the bass, it was very important in original, yet buried in the mix. The playing here is very Cliffy, he always changed his solos a bit live, perfect version. Also, the guitar solo is better here, I never really liked the original solo, some ideas were good, but still, your is better
