I. LOVE THIS GAME SO MUCH! When I was a kid, i used to play it ALL the time, i had the actual disc! it came in a pack with 1 and 2, and it was so much fun, i loved it so so so much. I might still have it actually! And I can't wait to play it again, I remember just going in the pens in 1st person mode and hanging out with all the animals pretending i was one of them. I used to spin the earth rapidly at the map picking, I used to walk around hanging with my guests like they were my friends...I used to cap off guests into a small "guest enclosure" or make mazes out of the paths so they'd have to navigate through hedges to see the animals, it was so. much. fun. so many memories... Thank you so much for uploading!

I used to start with the zookeeper collection (included the original, and the endangered species and African adventures packs) but then my sister got Marine Mania for her birthday and I got Extinct Animals for mine! Played the heck out of it. Unfortunately, we had to get a new computer, and I lost the Extinct Animals pack. Hope I can get another copy of it soon!
I still have the disc that you're talking about wanting to unfortunately my new laptop doesn't have a disk drive and I tried to get the external disk drive that you plug into the laptop but it doesn't want to work sad face
I did to, although I never used it after my main computer broke and the replacement didn’t have a dvd slot thing
Im here in 2019 and I used to play this game nonstop when I was a kid.
Literally wanted this game as a kid so bad all my friends talked about it lol. Now I’m 26 and bought a gaming laptop on sale. It’ll be her in two days. I’m probably gonna have to pick this up!
Here's a tip:
When building water tanks for animals, use the opaque walls around it and only use glass where guests can see the animals.
Saves money that way :)

Just out of curiosity, what setup does it require? I remember reading that there were some certain system requirements or whatnot to be able to run it on a computer.
I literally just popped the disc and downloaded it. No special requirements. Then again though, I'm using Windows 7, if it's 8 or higher, it might be different.

And also because all the stuff I used to have for it has been scratched up so badly thought it had been trampled over by rats.
I use to play this gsme on my very old laptop that had Windows 7 Lite when I get home from School. Brings back old memories.

I used to love playing this game, but my copy had two tiny glitches. People would get into the exhibits and get eaten or the animals walked through the walls and escape. :P It wasn't so bad when it was tiny, non-threatening animals, but imagine using the first person mode and see an elephant walk through the wall. *rolls eyes*

Whenever I played this game, i'd just do the unlimited version, never open the zoo, and just make it into a wildlife preserve.
I used to play this game a lot when I was younger. I've been thinking about playing it again someday, but I can't seem to get around to it. Part of it is that whenever I hear one of the main menu songs, I start to get depressed. And part of it is that I had to reinstall the game after my computer's operating system was updated and I'd have to go back and reunlock almost everything.
Still, I'm glad to see that people still play this game.

I know this was uploaded a while ago but I thought I'd say that I loved your video I just recently got the urge to buy this and play it again. Haven't played this since I was really young and I loved how you played the cinematic at the beginning it was like a trip down memory lane haha!! I literally could not find this in any store near me so I have to wait for it, that's always torture but anyways thanks for the video!!

I miss the Zoo Tycoon series before the reboot. I like the reboot, but I'm sad that they never made a genuine Zoo Tycoon 3.

How do you get the curved paths? I know this is a really old video and all but its always plagued my mind. I have the ultimate collection disks and I thought they were an automatic feature but I guess not because I get square paths.
It happens at a certain point. Really, there is no forcing the game to do it. it also matters if an object is by the edge or not.
Hmm... okay because even with nothing near it the path does not curve. I suppose I'll have to play around with the settings

Apareon I've tried installing it on my Windows 7 laptop, always fails on the second disk. It just stops, and then there's an error, and then everything explodes.

I found my zookeeper collection case, missing the second disk. I found my ultimate collection case, it has disk two and three, but not disk one. Don't make my mistake, it doesn't work to download disk one of zookeeper and disk two and three of ultimate. What a waste of time.
