This is exactly how I was told when I started laps on the GT3rs. It’s actually super comfortable for daily driving as well. In my mustang this is how I sit now. I have it set as memory 2 memory 3 is a few inches closer. I love it.
Audio is clipping (peaking) pretty hard here. I recommend testing audio levels prior to filming, having someone monitor the levels during filming, and adjusting in post. its really jarring in this video
Good information. My method is to sit back and stretch my arm out to rest my wrist at the top of the wheel (12 o'clock) WITHOUT pulling or rolling a shoulder forward off the seatback. Picked that up years ago. It's quick and easy to get the seat position set very close initially.
Your animation for the leg placement is too extended. When you fully depress the accelerator or brake pedal, your legs should have a bend to them, or you may not be able to reach it properly. The animation shows the legs extended too much. Your sitting position in the driving sim looks correct as your legs are more bent, providing the control needed under full braking and acceleration. I would love to see this video inside an actual car with the adjustability most people deal with in their cars.

Oh man, you put on a nice and sensitive lapel microphone, and then you set it a bit too sensitive.
