@@brandcaul Thanks Brandon. If you could share some insight on it earlier that would be of great help as my project is starting Monday. I was thinking to use VS Code for development instead Web IDE. So I would like to know how to connect to OData Service, if possible the same approach we do in Web IDE instead of creating the model in Code and enabling CORS. And if there is a possibility to Deploy the application in gateway server directly from VS Code.
@@brandcaul i have a problem with ODATA Setup. I have posted my query in Comment. Can you please check and help if you get time. blogs.sap.com/2019/08/26/ui5-tooling-custom-server-middleware-proxy-extension/comment-page-1/#comment-536476
Hi on command ui5 --help I receive "ui5 : Die Benennung "ui5" wurde nicht als Name eines Cmdlet, einer Funktion..." error I guess ui5 is not being found, how can I solve this problem? thanks
I think the execution policy is not turned off, in your PC. Same goes for me, I had to turn that off using the powershell on administrator. (you can get the command from stack overflow). then run the commands on the vs code terminal from the start and it will appear up.
If anyone is not able to run ui5 --help command and facing an error of "cannot be loaded because running scripts is disabled" , just go through the video ua-cam.com/video/iDHKih88yOE/v-deo.html
Great videos, I look forward to the next tutorial!.
Can you show us how to connect to the odata using cloud destination. And what are the changes we need to do in VS code.
Hi Arun, this topic is part of an upcoming video and will be out very soon 🙂
