Thanks for posting this, I'd like to share it on my YT channel...we're worried about our sick planet earth...the trash, plastic bottles,...people NEVER drink water from a faucet, instead they buy
water, TONS of water bottles left all over the world...and the floating trash heap out in pacific ocean bigger than state of Texas. OMG...what are we doing to our once beautiful planet?
We live out in the country, but I'd like to move out much further, but we're getting older, sicker, so...but we try to do our share in caring for our planet.

Are the people who viewed this video so impacted that they cannot even comment .... WTH ... did they not read the description, did they not watch this video.... it's a sad day when the message of this content is lost on the very ears that apparently 'support' this channel which is hosted by an individual who cares enough about the state of the natural world to not only share his work through audio... but also in the sharing of this written work by R. Carson. It would seem that as a species, the majority of people are more concerned with having convenience at the expense of our environment, even while saying they care about saving the whales and elephants, and cleaning up the plastic islands in the oceans... there's an 'app' for that right? sigh.. thank you Mr. Stewart for your efforts in spreading the message and please keep doing so, even though it seems it may be falling on deaf ears.... we don't want a 'silent spring' nor your message to be silenced.
Over the years and decades of recording the wilderness here in Ontario, Canada (near Algonquin Provincial Park) we have noticed the back ground din of noise that permeates the early dawn, the faint rumble of the world waking up.. and this is an isolated area in the wilderness ... the soundscape has changed, and we can only imagine what it must feel like to witness so much of what you have recorded to now be from species that are now extinct ... the only words that come to mind are sad and pathetic. Normally this space would be reserved for 'but there is hope' ....... ?? When we saw the number of comments and the number of subscribers here ...it spoke volumes.
