Keep tourists away from the horses. These horses and guards are working and it's not a petting zoo or photo shoot. Tourists stand too close to the horses. Why not charge people for pics? That might keep them away. Make a line far away from the guard and horse that tourists are not allowed to cross.
Jesus, this is ridiculous. How they all crowd around the horse, and then the police officer tells them to step back and the minute he turns his head they go back to take a photo to the point where he hast to get a little bit more harsh. Ridiculous.
To those who say I have two standards: I don't. I want people to obey the rules as they are posted. This old video is a good example of the reason why. Too many disrespectful tourists and the guard and horse being the objects of their so-called desires. The rules now state they should not touch the horse in two signs, one verbal and the other a pictograph. It is time to end this nonsense where the tourists think they have the right to harass the horse and rider.

They tolerated it as long as they kept their hands off the reins until it got to the point that it was obviously stressing the horses out. Then they put a stop to it altogether. But yeah, I agree. It should never have gotten to that point in the first place.
