This channel has been very helpful so far. we just switch to SoFi for our primary account. Do you use the Vaults like an envelope system, and manage bills from there?
So glad to hear this! SoFi is a great option 👍🏼Yes, my wife and I use the vaults for setting aside money for larger financial goals (buying a car, etc.) as well as setting aside money for monthly, quarterly, and yearly bills that come our way.
I'm kinda surprised that Varo isn't on this list since it also offers 5% APY up to the first $5k then drops to 3% APY for anything over that with direct deposit. Putting it at least at #2 ahead of Chime and well everything else. Now long term sure Sofi could have that potential with both checking and savings adding up to 5.10% APY but still have to do direct deposit for that also. Only other thing that is an issue is Sofi uses Mastercard so not really accepted at some places like Costco and Varo uses Visa. Varo also accepts Zelle.
@@noahpalmieri941Wealthfront doesn't have a traditional checking and savings account. Chime and Varo do. Wealthfront doesn't have a bank charter. Varo does. Wealthfront doesn't have 24/7 chat and phone support. Chime does. Wealthfront has free instant transfers, but not to anyone with a debit card. Chime and Varo both have that feature. Wealthfront doesn't offer fee and interest free short-term loans. Chime does. Wealthfront doesn't offer a secured card that requires no credit check and approves everyone. Chime and Varo do.
Don't trust chime lol 😂 I hear their customer service sucks it's worthless and money she been stolen from them accounts stolen money stolen frozen accounts and I use sofi and it the best so far Varo good too but it just ok 😂
For the amex debit, you need an amex credit card to even get it, making the points earning feature virtually useless. Why would you earn 1pt for every 2 dollars spent when you can just use your amex credit card to get up to 10x more PER dollar?
@@josephmgomez3921 yes you do, it says it on the front page We are currently accepting applications from Card Members with a U.S. Basic Consumer Card issued by American Express National Bank with 3+ months tenure. Current and prior American Express Business Checking customers are not eligible to apply at this time.
Relay is AWESOME but it is for a business account(s). I HIGHLY recommend it. These are personal checking options and Relay is for business checking and savings.
Couldn't agree more. It's my least favorite. You need to have direct deposit with them in order to get the higher interest rate, and the app is so cluttered.
@@MagnifiedMoney - their UI is a jumbled mess. It's unnecessarily cluttered with irrelevant items. Plus the requirement of DD for the best rate is a bit annoying. I prefer PNC for my HYSA.
SoFi: We have a great Checking & Savings account. Wealthfront: Perhaps, but why separate them? Oh, so you can pay MUCH lower APY% on the Checking account 😂
Actually it's important to have an actual bank sometimes. Especially when you are making big purchases e.g using a personal check for buying a car or purchasing land etc.
@@KT-si9rztrue 😂 sometimes u need to tell ur bank your about to purchase a $19k car on the card in full and you need them to authorize it 😂 although I believe there are limits anyways like $1k /day

Chime closed my account without explanation

Why would this be relevant if Wealthfront gives 5% on all funds

I like videos about SoFi and Wealthfront. Interesting!
I have my sofi account connected to Zelle.
So the best banks aren’t real banks
Sofi for the win! Im not a loyalist but i still cant find an all in one solution like Sofi.
We love SoFi over here in my household!
I'm trying to find a new banking I'm stuck on chime or Sofi banking I'm 24 years old and just so hard t chose!!!
Between those two choices, go with SoFi. In my opinion though, Wealthfront is king.
Don't trust chime lol 😂 I hear their customer service sucks it's worthless and money she been stolen from them accounts stolen money stolen frozen accounts and I use sofi and it the best so far Varo good too but it just ok 😂
I love both. I use Chime for daily spending and sofi for investing.
You’re such a SoFi fanboy! So am I! 😂
😂 Haha I can’t deny this!
Yea the support is terrible so I left them
@@ZaeviaI haven't had any issues 😂
If Sofi had Zelle I would have stayed with them...
Zelle is on sofi now
@@raze2400 How did you get it? I was looking all day yesterday since I saw your comment and had no luck.
@alejandrourbinaalva3740 it's slowly rolling out. Sofi announced it last week
Wealthfront destroyed all of them.
I couldn’t agree more.
But it’s a fin-tech company 😮
Whis is Discover checking not on the list???
I agree I just opened a Discover and Amex checking accounts
Probably because Capital One just agreed to purchase them.

I love my local credit union.
Oi bruv, why didn’t you mention Lloyd’s of London?
No varo? No Ally? I know chime is a sponsor of yours
I wish Wealthfront automated portfolios had fractional share purchases.
You should review Zynlo Bank.
Thanks for the suggestion 👍 We will add it to our list of potential banks to review.
What about discover
Traditional vs online when the lights go out?
Wealthfront is the best.
is Citi Bank part of this list
Nope
No.
What about Relay?

Forgot acorn is king
Can you do a video on varo 2024
Any thoughts on betterment?
Primis, Upgrade and Everbank need to be reviewed.
Thanks for the suggestions 👍
Could you do a vid on joint accounts for 2024?
We will add this to our content idea list 👍
SoFi is wack
Absolutely agree! 💯
We love our SoFi account, but curious to hear why you think that?
