Underwater Video of Green Severum Cichlids (Banded Cichlids) and Peacock Bass in South Florida

Underwater video I filmed of green severum cichlids (banded cichlids) in South Florida. See this video in 4K and medium to bright light setting on your computer for best results. To the best of my knowledge I am the first person on UA-cam to post an underwater video of wild green severum cichlids in Florida. Green severum cichlids are native to the Upper Orinoco and Upper Rio Negro basins in South America. People keep green severum cichlids in aquariums since they are beautiful fish. Some of the fish that can be seen in this video are the following;
1. Green severum cichlid (Heros severus)
2. Red devil cichlid (Amphilophus labiatus) or Midas cichlid (Amphilophus citrinellus)
3. Peacock Bass (Cichla ocellaris)
4. Jaguar guapote (Parachromis managuensis)
5. Mayan cichlid (Cichlasoma urophthalmus)
6. Spotted tilapia (Pelmatolapia mariae)
7. Florida largemouth bass (Micropterus salmoides floridanus)
8. Redear sunfish (Lepomis microlophus)
9. Coppernose bluegill (Lepomis macrochirus mystacalis)

Could you try search different areas of freshwater where the water is clear to see different Cichlids fish spieces such as Firemouths, Jack Dempsey, redhead cichlids, Rio Grande, Eastern Happy, Eartheaters, Salvini cichlids etc … they all are still in FL, I already seen the convicts cichlids, it was so amazing they are still exist in South, FL, keep us posted 🙂
