Hi, At the 1.oo min the holes come sealed with a seam sealer from factory . Oh yea the loop pile was entry level carpet OEM In the aftermarket then came the cut pile ,then came the super plush [super deep pile ]. Underlays come in at least 3 thickness . The HJ-Z Caprice and HQ Deville sound deadener was used factory . There was some fire wall insulation in all models .
sound deadening this will take away its sound authenticity ....i love the sound of classics like having the window down elbow hanging on the door no pwr steering no aircon at the end of the day you know you drove a classic .....i suppose these sought of people vape fairy floss an drink alcohol with passion fruit in it
If you enjoy getting popeye forearms from turning your steering wheel all day and having humidity in your face giving off uncle's warm breath in your personal space vibes then more power to you. There's nothing wrong with being able to steer your car without trying to sweat it out and air con is a necessity as the weather gets hotter n no one wants to feel like they've swam in sweat all day. A car like the Kingswood will stay a classic with sound deadener on it, whether you like it or not.
What a beautiful specimen to work on!
Great video quality too!
Thank you Jake!!
Memories, I wish I still had my HZ 253 V8 premier vacationer station wagon ..
😥
What did you use for the sound deadening firewall blanket? 3:00

Great video as per usual.
One issue though, is the way you drag the customer's new door trim across the ground, twice...😮
The Kingswood?! You're not taking the Kingswood. I just sound deadened the cabin!
😆👍
