Stupid fucking post. The redshell clip is pretty clear proof, doomfist is objectively broken. Literally has been broken since release in some manner. There are skillful elements, no doubt, but there is a ton of bullshit involved with playing him

everyone loves to say doomfist is broken until they try to play him
like, if he's SO broken, why does their team not have one? Maybe because he's the same as every other character, and you need to learn how to play said character. Just because doom can kill you quickly doesn't mean it takes no skill to know when to go in and who to go on.
I get why people are upset though, like one of the people said in the video (i forgot and am too lazy to check) Doom is a melee character in an fps, and when the only other melee characters are rein and brigitte, the difference is a little large. But they also need to remember it's a moba, and those have plenty of melee characters.
I mean doom is broken the hero has some bugs that are unfair for the other player and some that are unfair for the doom
facts. And when they're told to play they deny to do so because they know they're bad at him, proving that he actually takes skill and they just need more copium

maybe in high elo he becomes a bit of a throw pick bc competent players know how easy he is to focus/counter. but in plat/diamond he's pretty broken. i was able to climb to masters within a week only playing cree/doom after a year of being hardstuck diamond being solely a hitscan main

"I like how I was 2 miles away and he came over and one shot me." I too enjoy characters using all of their movement abilities to move great distances while also "one shotting" with damage from 2 abilities and multiple shots from their primary fire.
not to mention that shartcandy wasted both abilities before he even did any damage
its like saying genji is broken because he used his dash and his dash reset from his ult and two slashes on him and "oneshotted" him

What I've learned from watching ZBRA. "Where's the doomfist" is usually answered by "where's the actual worst place for my team for him to be?" Followed by portraits in the killfeed

I'll never understand how DVa player can get the reputation of feeders. She's literally the tank that has the most damage mitigation/nullifying of all of them. AND mobility to escape.

@@ZombieaidZ i play all tanks except rein. dva can be very impactful in matches especially when you can eat gravs/pulses/blizzards/etc. i agree that most dva players (otps i mean) are really dumb and dont know what they are doing. same with ball. I feel i am really quite good at dva/ball/hog/zarya, and the heroes arent neccesarily bad, just some people are braindead. i too hate whne ai get these people on my team

Because these retards forget it’s a team game and you aren’t supposed to fucking beat a dps in a 1v1 as a support. That’s the issue with new supports in the game like bap and brig that can 1v1 like half the dps roster. It’s disgusting how bad power creep is. If a team actually plays together and turns around to peel for a support and shoots doom, he’s useless. But when you have dumb players that are so used to their heros playing the game for them, they lose all common sense and decision making skills.

People dont play Doomfist because he's broken. They play him because he's genuinely fun to play. Widowmaker is a hero that sits in one spot and one shots people and yet people have no problem with that because the sniper class has existed for eternity.
That guy called you predictable, but if you keep getting killed by said predictability what does that say about YOU? You can predict it, but can't do anything to stop it? That's actual tragedy, that's something you'd get in Shakespeare or some old roman story.

Really love how there is a million counter plays to doomfist but sojourn can just hit a fully charged rail gun body shot and one shot someone so cool.
That Redshell pumch was indeed terrible but thats the thing, im pretty sure i can speak for every Doom main when i say that im all up for fixing issues lile that but how about making it so we can punch dlightly up or down? Make thr hitbox smaller idc but give the character something...

I feel like the more competitive people get the more they lose the vision of what Overwatch is supposed to be and instead just want it to be yet another boring FPS with nothing special. Though thankfully there are plenty of top players that still keep the wackiness alive

As someone who plays only diamond level ana, if you miss your sleep you don’t get to complain that Doom takes advantage of that shit. Especially when he’s coming at you straight. His damage is dealt at close range if you can’t make the shot from afar don’t take it and telegraph to the doom “I have no defence mechanism, come get my ass” wait until he goes for the kill to CC him in your end of the field and get a free kill.
