Decaying Silo is a wildly popular crazy map. People seem to love it and it is the 3rd hardest permanent map in the game. But here's why it's the worst of the crazy maps in Flood Escape 2.

Subjective opinion:
DS probably my favourite map (not only crazy maps)
(given that I rejoin the game after v61)
DS isn't a brand new map at that moment, and is the only map that I remember it's layout without actually playing it, possibly because I kept on looping boonmoon's vid on the map to enjoy the ost
I wasn't really aware of the repeating platforms because I personally think the detail is alright. Shortly after I start playing it, I reach the final tower for the first time. The attempt is where I really want to play this map over and over because I think im almost there, and when I finally beat it (sixth attempt on the final tower, I admit I will choke everytime I reach that tower), I gain the satisfaction I've never experience before.
Anyway DS is my favourite map in the entire game. The detail is fine, the theme is unique, the ost is probably the best ingame ones, but more importantly, my own experience on it.

Snowy Stronghold is the worst crazy
Its really weird
5.3 is too low for it
and its OST is kind of bad imao

the only thing I dislike about the map is the tower part being too cramped, otherwise one of the best crazy maps (including the OST)

It used to be my personal favorite crazy map , but yeah it just got overplayed and it isn't very fun to replay
still a good map though regardless, i think all the crazy maps in the game are all really good

Yeah Decaying Silo is just very overrated. Its a great map if you want to get your daily challenges related to walljumps, sliding, and ziplines done, but really it fell off. I think the gameplay is great overall and its quite enjoyable, but yeah I agree its more of a chore to do now. The design imo is the worst aspect as it relies on its uniqueness and its concepts which is a good thing, but the it comes to how it looks it just looks mid. It is just a bunch of rocks and repeated platforms over and over again which doesn't make it look nice, and when you compare the design to any crazy map, it just looks very lackluster and bland. Also I feel the snowy theme is unnecessary and forced. idk. I just am not a fan. Overall, this map is good but I find the other maps better than this.

So you can't respect other people's opinions but we have you accept yours? I respect your opinion, although your opinion is trash, but you can respect the map creators work perhaps, because it takes a lot more work to create something like this than it is to form an opinion. Yes, the map does get more boring the more you play it, but that's the case with all maps, you are telling me sand-swept ruins isn't boring? All the same issues apply with ssr, but the gameplay in ssr is also inconsistent and unbalanced. At least ds is satisfying to pull off.

The thing is sandswept ruins makes it so it gets progressively harder, and once you pull it off, you can start to enjoy the map the more you play it. Sandswept Ruins has also a much better and more effort in design than decaying silo does.
