The limitations come from the core physics engine being 32 bit. If Kunos made a 64 bit version of the engine it would mean 2 things. Free roams of 10k miles would be possible but every single car needing redone one by one to take advantage of the new physics channels that would come with the change from 32 bit to 64 bit, spo a bit of a double edged sword. I am hopeful for the future but the sticking plaster in the short term is optimisation. Optimising PHYSICS objects is the difference between Glen Sheil running at 190 fps and not even loading at all .
@@granthendry696 Why would every single car need to be redone? It all runs on a singular physics engine that was bought off the shelf. There's no special coding or anything for any specific car. @@ArchOfficial 32bit only allows a set number of input channels. 64bit would allow more input channels. You could keep the same number of channels but a version of AC with a 64bit physics engine would allow the sim to replicate more real world data for a better final experience

where can i download this map ? cant find it
Check links in video description, theres a link for the track-discord where u can find the download and proper guides/help if needed :D
You're driving on wrong side of the road
No
the track is over Scotland!! hes on the proper lane x"DD
I cant play open world tracks because my wheel shakes like crazy, any ideas?
as far as i know, it is unfortunately a thing with freeroam tracks in the AC engine that cant be fixed. Im having the same issues, and the only thing i found that helps is lowering the FFB (AC has the possibility to lower FFB on the fly with the + & - on the numpad jfyi).
The further you go from the middle of the map, the harder it it to keep the shakes under control. That said, I’ve not been experiencing it any worse on my DD1 than you would on a Scottish country road on Glenshiel... Do you get the same experience on the map now?
feel free to come into track discord and ask everything u need, we will be glad to help to improve your ffb experience
Where can I download this?
check video details, theres a link for track official discord
What's this game like in xbox? I keep wanting to pick.
I dont Think its on x box, theres a simple version for ps but its nothing like on pc. You cant use mods, content manager and sol, and all of that is what makes ac good.
@@spiralmoment shit I thought it was out for xbox too. That was my thoughts I've seen it on PC with mods and it looks like a good game to drift on. Thanks for the reply. Stay safe.
@@jump23kid like I said I’m not sure about x box, and if it is you can’t use mods. but on pc it’s definitely good for drifting, lots of mods, both cars and tracks. Try and check Kame tricks channel here on you tube for drift mods.
@@spiralmoment thanks 👊
@@jump23kid there is a version for Xbox, just like Playstation, but you can't use mods on consoles, unfortunately. But yes, drift in this game is amazing, i play it a lot.
new link pls
You dont need Discord to dl the last version of the map. Just search for ArtofGrunt online in the server list and you can dl the map through the Install Missing Content button
Why is it called free roam? It's just a big map that is still limited by borders. (I'm not being serious)
Hello white samurai. We have some bbq to use propane on
@@randomcallsign I was having a stroke trying to process what you said. And also hello
can you play on this server on PS4?
Only for PC i am afraid
Unbelievable map.Never going out again.car for sale......
So, this is death for Forza.
I mean not really. Forza will still have it's console community and probably always will. Plenty of people on consoles who want a decent racing experience
Bro, Forza Horizons map is completely 3d, quality is on another level in FH.
Same for textures.
Sayin as a big AC fan. Didn't play any other game for almost 2 years now but yeah, still a great map.
@@DeathIess That's another really good point. AC is really showing its age, and there isn't anything you can really do about it. iRacing is in the same boat. Just barely better than PS2 graphics...
As a guy who plays Grand prix legends and Nascar2003 I really don't care about graphics, only physics. Also I don't know why Forza is looked at like a "simulator".

Please let me know I don’t want to spend money for no reason
It doesn't work on console
It's all good, but I don't think mods worth these hours of searching, installing and testing them... Every game/sim has it's own tracks with best variations, worth trying in every specific game. because games/sims made by people, who has experience and getting money for making this.
incorrect in many aspects, but i just invite to join discord and try since installation are not more than 10minutes with proper instructions, in fact, u probably waste more time waiting for downloads from direct links =))
truly i thought it would be harder to deal with mods but a great group of people made a app for assetto called content manager and once you download most any mod for assetto it will come to you in a zip file and you legit just go to file location of newly downloaded mod and drag and drop into content manager doesn't matter where as long as the programs up and you unclick from the mod while hovering over it' it ads it to the game. crazy easy _Sol was truly just as easy its maybe 4 steps. and content manager again does most the work.
