A music video I was inspired to make after going into a deep dive of Ardyn from Final Fantasy 15, and in turn I'm happy with how this came out :)

I don't know how I haven't stumbled across this video before. It's amazing! You absolutely captured the essence of Ardyn's struggles and the gathering momentum in both song and images is : chef's kiss : .
I remember coming across this a long time ago and thinking it was so amazing after watching. Coming back now, it is still so good 👍
I watched this months ago, came back and just watched it again and it is just as good as the first time. The combination of hand drawn animation and CGI was a bold choice to make and it pays off well!

you know lot of people...understandably so hate Somnus for what he did and was doing but you got to understand his point little bit too, what Ardyn was doing aka healing was really not working and it only made him become a monster, Somnus actually after imprisoning him was guilty and regretful of his actions against Ardyn but Ardyn spent 2,000 years with memory of Somnus betraying him and killing Aera, at first he did not want to do anything about that but Ardyn then spent the next few years absorbing memories and daemonifying people and it corrupted him and messed up his memories of events.
but Ardyn's anger at Somnus can be understandable too but Ardyn and Somnus did not even realize that they were just pawns in Bahamut's little prophecy, no i am not making excuses for either of the two it is just how i see it both are wrong but at same time both are right
I could argue that he was actually taking away their Daemon stuff by absorbing it, but overall I'd say that Somnus while not always around his brother, could possibly sense that Ardyn was absorbing the stuff, and in turn was tainting himself in the process.
Somnus's plan for survival was to always destroy the enemy rather than save them, and such. So when seeing Ardyn like he is, he probably began to disconnect himself from his connection with him in order to be what he feels the kingdom needs. ...Now was he justified for acting as he did? No, not really.. ..the game certainly shows how he laid a horrible seed in Ardyn that grew all the way until the very end of his story.
But overall, while he wasn't fair to Ardyn, I don't think it's nessasarily fair to just chalk him up to be a horrible person either (Although the anime-esk prologue doesn't help this theory). Somnus until the bitter end wanted to solve the issues before him in his way, and he couldn't see Ardyn's way working out, and in turn was willing to turn on his flesh, and blood if it meant doing what he thought was right.

I mean music video wise I got plenty more I did than just this one after this one, for now though, I'm more so just keeping up with stuff I'm working on just barely, so I can't really say when I'll upload another mv
One mv I wanna make is a soul claibur 6 one, but aside from that, I'm just waiting until I have the space to tbh, let alone motivated to
