- Spent a day exploring what Sagada Philippines has to offer. From the hundred year old Cliff Coffins to a MASSIVE waterfall to the beautiful sea of clouds sunrise viewpoint. Sagada is one of my favourite places in the Philippines.

*Sagada is beautiful man. You brought back memories!* 😁😁😁
This is in my bucket list! Can’t wait for your another one vlog!
See you in anotha' one :)
Literally cannot wait to reach the Philippines…been travelling asia for 5 months now and all I can think about is getting there haha
You will love it, Truly paradise out here
welcome back noah.. take care and enjoy your stay..
Some guides are not guides. But guards. They're there to make sure you don't get into an accident or don't vandalize something. I suspect the guide to the hanging coffins was more like that.
P.S. Lechon is whole roasted pig on coals. Lechon kawali literally means "Lechon in a wok", because it's deep-fried not roasted. Similar spices and similar results (crispy skin and all), but very different method of cooking.
Wow, this looks beautiful! Looking so forward now to go there in April :)
Youll love it!!
We went there also! Such a great and memorable experienced . The fall, the caving, the long winding roads. The long hike to the gorgeous super cold water fall are super exciting specially we leave the fall already dark, hiking back with only a little light by the giudes like waking on small path blindfolded.
Yes "Don't Skip Northern Philippines." Experience Philippines, it's not just corals, cliffs, and amazing sands, we got upland chills, too. Check out the cabin restaurants in the rolling terrain of Baguio City.
Totally! Need to make my way out to Baguio
I seriously love the Jeepneys! They’re all so unique and colourful 😀 Too bad the buses in Canada don’t look like they do
Keep sending iiiiit! Your videos just keeps getting better and better! Excited for anotha one!
Thank you so much Janina!
Just to let you know, there was an elderly korean who got lost by trekking alone with no guide, and this spurs the debate of mandatory guide, not for guide per se, but making sure all tourist will come back alive. That korean was found eventually, but the damage in local tourism is massive, as the Korean barely alive when found. Even the whole family from korea came to Philippines for the sad event, issues with paid guides? its for safety reason. Hope this info will get you into perspective
That was before when the path wasn't marked and cemented. Now there's one cemented path that leads to the falls. Absolutely no reason for anyone to get lost.
For everybody's safety!
Wonderful video....Kawali is a type of cooking vessel....like a big pan...Lechon kawali is pork cooked in a big pan. Thanks for sharing.
Ahh the more you know. Thanks Jim, going to need some more Lechon Kawali ;)
You did it! Sagada! May I recommend the "Ireland" of the Philippines? But you'd have to fly there from.Manila...BATANES!!
I REALLY WANT TO, I will have to see it when I come back :)
@@Noahvde Yes, please visit Batanes
ugh!😍take me back to Sagada!
loved this video! Also did a Sagada vlog and all I can say is that SAGADA IS AMAZING!
It's difficult to find atm in those places mainly because they're in the an isolated area of the provinces, hence the situation. If you've noticed, foods in Sagada are much more expensive than other places since they basically have to go down the town proper (and that's really really far, as what you may have seen); and for the same reason, their atms are hard to maintain too. If you're planning to explore more small places such as sagada, I suggest withdrawing enough money in the city beforehand.
Also, some places (tourist attraction) in the provinces require tour guides so as to watch out after the tourists and to make sure that the place maintains its cleanliness. It's not bad to have the tour guides and most of them are really friendly and if you would allow them, they can be pretty funny too. They tell you history and other stories of the place, sometimes they tell you about their daily lives too. Don't you think it's nice to get to know a little bit of the locals? and you get to help them with their livelihoods too! :) Most of them are not only tour guides, but also farmers. It's like a double shift-- or probably more like a part time job. They farm on certain days and do tour guides on others so please consider them too :)
I hope you don't take it in a bad way! Thanks for exploring the Philippines! Can't wait for your next content 🤙🏻
Thanks so much for the insight Denise! See you in anotha' one!
Maybe the central part of the province when you are far into the mountains like sagada is Bontoc to withdraw from an atm
I went to Sagada 3 years ago and went spelunking. So anyone who goes there should try it. It’s an awesome experience.
I agree, if someone goes, Id recommend it. Sadly we couldnt
even though my friends and i didn’t need a guide in some of the places we hiked like Banaue Rice Terraces.. the guides are there - just in case of accidents, like getting bit by a snake or slipping and falling off a slippery edge.. that person should be equipped with an emergency backpack as well as a local contact for emergency rescue. we ask for identification as well as credentials before booking one.
Sagada is where people go when they are broken hearted or just wanted to get peace of mind and they shout their heart out in echo valley or kiltipan, hehe... ..you missed the marlboro country, sumaguing cave, lake danum, sagada museum, eating pinikpikan and the best yougart house in sagada.
Truly a magical place
I agree with what you said on the description box. It was the very first place I traveled back in 2015 and it was amazing.
So amazing!
try to travel mindanao so many beautiful water falls..like. tinago and mariacristina in iligan..asik asik falls in cotabato.. 7 falls at lake sebu..and many more you were amaze... thanks for traveling to the philippines.... GOD BLESS..
Id love to visit mindanao, but maybe later when things are cleared up a bit more. In the mean time I have thousands of other islands to explore :)
keep safe and enjoy your stay in the philippines..i highly recommended visit to siargao..... keepsafe.. ive enjoyed your videos..
love your positivity brother. Keep it up!
The Lechon Kawali is cook in pan while the Lechon is cook in the wooden fire for long hours. Philippines is your second home now Noah.
OHH It all makes sense now. Thank you!
@@Noahvde lechon kawali is deep fried while lechon is roasted.
Definitely adding this place to my list of places to visit, especially where the sea of clouds are 😍👌🏼
yes! Stunning!
Been there to Sagada a few years back and I absolutely loved it! Just the bus ride from Baguio takes your breath away as you gaze at the beauty of the numerous terraces that pass you by. You should have taken the cave tour, that's what Sagada is famous for. It was an awesome experience navigating the subterranean passages with an underground river running through the cave. It was a 2 hour journey of fun, the most fun I've had in the Philippines.
Yeah I would have loved too, but time constraints. Plus I cant film a dark cave
Hey Noah I love Sagada! I have been there so many times.. I am from Baguio...Enjoy man
It's beautiful eh?
relaxing and very homey!!! what a way to relax and enjoy!!!! Keep up man...
Wow! I wish you visited the sumaguing cave in sagada because its the highlight of going to sagada. Anyways, atleast you enjoyed. Waiting for the anotha' one..
Yes very much enjoyed, sad about the caves but, next time =)
It's not disrespectful to take photos or videos but one of the first things our guide did mention is that you're not supposed to point at the coffins. If you point in the direction your finger should be pointed at yourself.
Bruh you should have over a million subscribers by now with your vids! Another dope one!
Thank you so much :)
Noah, Sagada is my favorite place in our country. You must check these in Sagada:
1. Sumaguing Cave for spelunking...or u may do the cave connection from one cave where you can see ancient mummies inside the jars then come out to Sumaguing cave.
2. Pongas Falls. For me Pongas falls is more beautiful than Bomod-ok. Trekking there is very adventurous...from farms, to terraces, to mountain side...then to Pongas falls.
3. Marlboro Countryside. There are 5 magical wild horses living there and not everyone who goes up there can see them. I am lucky since when i went up there, i saw all those 5 horses. You can also see the the Blue soiled hills
4. Lemon Pie House and Yoghurt House for good food.
North Luzon specifically the Cordillera mountain region is really beautiful and too sad not every travellers have the chance to visit there.
Thanks for the suggestions, Im sure people will read the comments and this will help! BTW The Yoghurt place is amazing, we tried it just never vlogged.
Noahvde yeah thanks! Bcoz of ur video i wanna go back to Sagada again. I want to know where u are heading next?
Good to see you back here in the Philippines..
Glad to be back :)
HAPPY 15K SUBBIES!!! 🎉🎉🎉 😄 Very happy to see ur channel grow! Because u deserve it!!! ☺👊 Anyway, just curious..how do u guys tell the jeepney driver to stop when ur getting off the jeepney? Don't u have to yell out "para po" in tagalog? I was hoping to see that on the vlog.. lol 😂
Thank you Kathleen!!! Haha we tell the driver where we want to go, and he tells US when to get off :)
it's crazy hearing my native language in your videos!! my mind is blown!!
haha glad I can provide!
I hope you guys are still in the north so you can visit Kaparkan Falls in Tineg, Abra
Wow the first vid i see that feature Sagada.
That place is amazing.
So happy I could share. Cheers :)
true. foreign tourists normally go to Cental Visayas and Palawan.
popular ones in north are, Hundred Islands, Batanes and Ilocos area (Vigan + Pagudpud)
Yes forsure, sad as this is so beautiful
You should try mt.apo thru calinan trail in davao
hey did you even check how many times a local get to guide in a week? ..well I did..In a non- peak season..they are lucky to have 1 in a week. and during peak season, 3 to 4 times.
I appreciate your appreciation for our country man !! On to anotha one !!
Thanks brotha!
Sagada Cave is very beautiful. .I went there and I love it. You should visit sometime. Love yah
Thank you Maria!
CONGRATS ON 15K!
Thanks Harish!
Nice! May I suggest googling pictures of Kaparkan or Kapalkan Falls. It's beautiful. Since u r already in the north. Maybe make time to check that out. Safe travels.
Sadly we are in the south now, videos are behind.
Since you're in the northern region, you should check out and explore Ilocos Region and Batanes Islands.
Thanks Carlo! I really want to
Awesome vlog Noah!!!
KERWIN! Thanks buddy!
mt kiltepan, sagada.. sea of clouds at 5am ...is the thing ;)
Awesome video man keep them comin
Thank you!
welcome to Cadada 😁 locals can relate
Awesome, I was really enjoyed it.
So glad, thanks for watching!
when we went there, we just had to follow the path and read some blogs. too bad the clouds didn't come out when you went there... this place is really stoked!
Yeah I've heard and seen the pictures. Can be out of this world
Its cool that he asked first if its ok to take pictures..
I try to be respectful :)
Great!!.. ur home again :)
I AM!
Nice vid.
Awesome vlog Noah, btw love love love your voice
Thank you so much Pinette!
I agree with you (that part you mentioned about the travel guide) those in the market deserve to be paid better than just walking along with you...
Yes but I mean, its okay. Just slightly annoying
Noahvde Agree...
Yes, Luzon island has lots to offer but why tourism is concentrated in the Visayas.
wahleed taula because they needed it the most. Land in noryhern parts of the philippines is sustainable for farming and it means they have more opportunity of earning unlike in visayas life is harder there especially during typhoon season.
I guess Visayas has more beaches and more places to chill. Most tourists wants beaches IMO
AHH Very insightful! Never thought about it like that, thank you for the input
Try out Mt. Pulag sea of clouds. Much more reliable. But you might need a Parka. It drops to below zero celcius at dawn.
I mean seriously, check out some photos from google.
I seriously suggest it while you are still in the area!
oh my gosh, thats some canadian weather right there
Hey Noah, do you shoot in 1080 or 4K for your non-slo mo shots?
1080! 4k sometimes but the files are huge
They are! Almost seems like more work than it's worth since it slows down editing :P Thanks!
because you're covering much of the Philippines, and with superb first person content, I'm a subscriber. I love the way you are trying to tell the world about the Philippines. But you can have have some improvement. Check other vloggers like FinnSnow and LostLeBlanc, then you can compete with them. Good luck with the competition...
The ATM at PNB in Bontoc accepts foreign cards and is the most reliable in the area. If you're coming in from Banaue stop on the way.
Cave connection is the best attraction in Sagada. Also there is a more technical cave it is called Victoria cave where I believe you can see white stalactites and stalagmites (not sure if my spelling is correct LoL)
Ohh super cool, yeah I mean I couldnt film the cave as its too dark so decided to cut it :(
That sad! If you're planning to travel up north check out Batanes.
Yeah.. cave connection is the best. Sad you missed it. You can film it though bec of light lamps i think.
If ur looking for adventure u must try visayas region. 😊
Sagada is definetly muy bueno! 👍
ahh thats spanish for... very good :)
What is that opening intro audio from the camera? Is that the sony RX V or is it something else?
Ur the best vlogger 👌
Looks much better than the one in Batad. That one was just too crowded for my liking.
Sagada 😍 on my go to wish list ♥️
Ereen so amazing!
vlog p more...is it not enough.
Im trying!
Every second day upload seems to work best for me though
Is there a hospital in Sagada?
travel more in visayas a lots of waterfalls also
Jessa Lapasandah I've been! Absolutely amazing
Damn you should have really tried the cave exploring!
Yah I wish but like I said we had to choose something and you cant film inside of a dark cave soo..
I do the same thing!! I send money to myself via western when I travel It sucks when the server goes offline though -.-. It always work out smoothly, plus western has less limits vs atms xD.
Ohh good to know! YEs I can imagine that being difficult, thats true though
we'll be going there in feb 😀
Youll love it!!
Noahvde so excited cant wait! 😄
Haha even in the hot summer days of april to june, still you can't swim in that water as it's always ice cold.
My profile pic was taken in april of 2015 and I only got wet just for this photo. 😀
Most of the tour guides in Bangaan are my cousins and relatives so I'm a bit shy about your experience with them.
wow nice plce
Almost 1st!!!
Lakwatserong Kimiko 😆
Spelunking is a must. =)
Sadly we couldn't do it :( next time!
Bro, Whats Your Next Destination After This ?
Its art here
I think if you had Filipino friends with you, you may have been able to avoid having a paid tour guide for the waterfall. I have mixed feelings about guides you don't really need. I think they are more like security guards ensuring tourists don't damage and vandalize these natural sites, because there is a small but really evil group of people that watch UA-cam videos and photos on Instagram so they can visit those sites to tag them and do other acts of malicious destruction. It happens a lot over here in the USA.
rjhemedes haha like Vanessa Hudgens tagging in Arizona 😒
Yes totally, I agree with that part, someone should be there to watch to make sure no one destroys it for others.
That's my advantage whenever i go back to Philippines is i can argue with the "tour guides" about this issue.
Mannnnn you went to my town!!!!
Beautiful place!
OMG! You missed going to Sagada cave.
I know, next time!
yep.. its basically you hire them to watch you not destroy things, leave any garbage or take anything unecessary =)
essentially, yeah it's true
I think guides is more on safety issue if in case🤔
Just subbed!
Nice place
So nice!
That concrete path and railings was paid for by guide fees. Without it there would be no path.
Rusty Evolution lol, dont be ridiculous, they dont get taxed for it. it’s the local govt who should do those roads or bridges. the guides are for safety purpose, coz those are remote places, and there are some ghost and engcantos or forest elves that gets the tourist lost in the woods, lol. that very cold Baguio region is famous for ghost stories actually hehe. but if there are other local tourists around, they could just join the locals instead, than pay for tour guides.
Noah you should do a meet up. Im sure you have fans there in 🇵🇭.✌
Hope he will and if he will, can somebody give him T-Shirts, or volunteer to do his laundry (joking)...? He looks like the taller, younger John Pratts.
I hope to do a meet up in Cebu!
Visit Batanes Group of Island.
I want to! Next time
Lechon Kawali tastes better. It is crunchy and tasty. I love it. It was one of my favorite PH foods :)
I REALLY Enjoyed it, was delicious
That waterfall is PETMALU. ! That's Filipino millennial / hip word for "amazing !". Hope you can connect w/ Kyle Jennerman, he's the Mindanao "Prince" of Waterfalls ! But in fairness, your video on KAWASAN Falls still tops them all, even beating LeBlanc's. Good job !
I would love to connect with other UA-camrs!
And thank you Very much!!
plsss go to batanes island
I REALLY Want to, might have to be next trip
just a suggestion, while your in the Philippines, it would be great to do a collab with Kulas becoming filipino, and while Finn Snow is also here. that would be spectacular thanks
Id love to collab with them, I think Kulas is back in Canada though
+Noahvde He'll be back soon Feb 02.. ☺....OMG, I hope you'll collab soon, it will be a hit...
new pinoy subscriber here...
Dope!! Hope you enjoy
That's right getting a guide to keep you safe from extremist groups.
how can you visit a waterfall in the Philippines and not jump in for the full experience???
YOU CANT!
Im sad we skipped it, usually we dont haha
go to bagiuo or davao city
ahhh more for the list!
liked and subscribed
Thanks!!
Thanos was there 😊
I am the attraction of my own haha
