Cool good catch, getting em on the bus was a workout for ya. Bout time it paid for feed, them hogs had been free loading a long time. Don't have that hog problem here in PA., still keep up good work and videos.
Hi Jeff, I'm curious if you have ever tried the boar buster type trap that is suspended off the ground? Any thoughts on that type of trap relative to the more standard ones with a droppable gate?

Watched the entire video. The process is quite fascinating. Would be cool for a newb. like myself to see a video where you could explain the technique in real time as you get them loaded into the trailer. Question: will the big, angry ones come at ya? And if so, do they ever bite? Great content Jeff. You sir are first ever concrete pumper to tow a trailer full of hogs behind a flat-deck loaded down the 3" concrete pumping hoses and accessories. Legend!!!
Absolutely they’ll bite. The big males have tusks. They are razor sharp. They get to you they’ll shred you up by shaking their snout back and fourth against you. Once I dropped these hogs off I went and pumped the job from last Sunday morning concrete pumping video. Even better I went and met a customer to look at a couple of creek crossings that we are pumping this week. I took them with for it was on the way to the market. Lol Never a dull moment over here. Lol
Seems that Jager Pro would put a loading shoot door within the trap gate itself since the hogs seem to remember that is the way they went into the corral to begin with. Maybe they do, I haven't researched.
Their are buyers in the area they we take them to that pay us by the pound. Then they take the pigs to a processor in Fort Worth that processes the animals for human consumption. I’m not sure where they go after that.
wild hogs meat have a different price that a domestic ones ? It is processed separately ? How do they deal with them in the butchery ? I seen several times that when all the big hogs are in the trailer, people going inside, take piglets by their back legs and just though them into the trailer. Have you tried it ? 13.40, one hog was almost a Houdini, almost escaped
Do you live close enough to a corn famer where you could buy a used gravity box grain hauler for few hundred bucks and buy some bushels ( 1 bushel = 56# at $4.75 market price ) from the farmer or trade corn for trapping to cut your cost. What about putting a eye bolt through the face of the gate above the latch and use a cut down version of the L rods you hold the panels together with to open and close the inside gate. Then weld 2 1 inch pieces if pipe to the out side frame to drop it in when traveling
Great Job, Mr Muddy Feet, good to see you earn a few bucks, you really earned it this week. Hope your good catch continues. love to see the dance at the end, hog reangling is not for me.....😁😁😁😁😁😁😁 btim
Hundreds of hogs harvested for pork, what about all those bones? Can they be pulverized as part of fertilizer mix? I bought a sack of dry food for my Husky, ingredients include wild hog meat.

Thanks, you too!

We are trying

I haven’t seen one yet but I don’t mind the way we do it
I reckon a solid plywood panel, 6x4’ with a ‘door’ in it would do the trick.
Dancer with The Hogs. 😅

No we haven’t

Are the weights you are giving, their Live weight before slaughter, , of the Carcass Weight after they;v been gutted.
These are the live weights.
Ryan said he couldn't handle that heat.Them Wisconsin boys just don't know lol
They don’t have a clue
She was a bit toasty this last week
8:43 that’s a tsunami of pork.
They kicked up some dust
I've seen where something long with a rag or something tied to end of it helps speed up the round up
It might.
Jeff maybe you’re going to have to use water for bait pretty soon. Great work!!👍🇺🇸
I tell ya. We are in a dry spell

It WAS Funny ! lol Jeff something i been meaning to ask Did you ever name the two different Hog Traps?
No I didn’t. I just refer to them as the place they are on.
Have you ever tried just plain molasses with out corn or anything else to cut bait expenses ?
Why do they go into the trailer?
Off to the bacon factory duh
Wonder why farther north and east Texas they pay more. Tops pay in south Texas is 25 cents a lb
I’ve always wondered that also. Why’s their a difference. Is it different marketing? I don’t know
Selling for food or hunting?
The go to get processed for human consumption
why dont you put food in the traier
They’re not interested in that at this point.
Great Job, Mr Muddy Feet, good to see you earn a few bucks, you really earned it this week. Hope your good catch continues. love to see the dance at the end, hog reangling is not for me.....😁😁😁😁😁😁😁 btim

A slide gate would be extremely helpful in the trailer. 👀
I would have to see. I’m not sure just thinking about off the top of my head
@@MuddyfeetTV it works great on mine, but good catch it’s always good taking a full trailer to the market lol. 🐗👍🏻
50 cent/lbs delivered to the butcher whole & live?
Yes
I visited a cousin of mine that lives In Gruver Texas on the 30th of July
Not much scenery out there
Have you seen how auctions move cattle using only a whip as a visual tool to intimidate? You could use it to reach into your enclosure.
Why not make rear trailer gate easy to close from drivers side with a twist & lock slide bar at the top rail
I can’t picture what your saying
Yes to the market, to the butcher market.
They got a good squeal on them 😂
Just wondering, do you charge farmers a fee?
Yes we do. Mainly to help cover expenses
Great video what's amazing is they have not learned to root under the trap all that energy wasted hitting the wire
I know!
well done, bro certainly knows how to catch a pig...
Thank ya!!!
How do you unload your hogs I bet that fun
Sometimes they are stubborn and you have to shake the sack at them
Look fun
My daughter had a couple of hundred acres down toward Pearsall Texas and it was infested with those things. The younger ones are quite tasty😋
Yeah, they like big ranches without much pressure
How about putting some feed with some masses on the trailer then it will be easier and faster
At this point I don’t think it would. You never know though
Looks like a 10ft enclosed alleyway would work pretty good here. Could even add guillotine gate with a long rope
Hundreds of hogs harvested for pork, what about all those bones? Can they be pulverized as part of fertilizer mix? I bought a sack of dry food for my Husky, ingredients include wild hog meat.
It wanted a piece of your hide 😅
How do they not break their neck running into those panels
They are tough! Is all I can say
Didn't know that hogs are so passive-aggressive!
Muddy, you're working too hard to trap hogs on those old fashion cattle panel. You should get a Pig Brigs hog trap !
Is that the net thing?
damn those piggys can jump
Yes they can. Look in my previous videos. I’ve had some great big ones plumb climb out
