First lets start with the a$$hole Larry Quin back in the day when the Sabres had John Muckler who essentially built the Stanley Cup teams of 90's, where Regier and Ruff took credit after running Muckler out of town. Then lets not forget the ownership problems with the Riga's fraud and the cheapness of Galisano era's. Then comes Pegula all teary eyed and nostalgic making promises to restore the wonder years of the French connection by making everyone believe that he was determined to bring Buffalo a Stanley cup. There is nothing in the present day tense to believe that this team is any closer to realizing that goal. There is a lot more drama in between the benchmarks I just laid out but that its too much to list here, so I will end this mini rant with one more example. The Sabres blew the one opportunity they had when they gave the "C" to Jack Eichel instead of Ryan O'Reilly who was on the team prior to Eichel's arrival which was essentially a slap in face to ROR. Ryan O'Reilly was a vocal leader in the locker room who ran counter to the Woke culture of the front office of the Sabres when expressing his frustrations for not making the playoffs and mismanagement of the team in general. Needless to say he ruffled a lot of feathers and so they ran him out of town as well for a song and a bird. Eichel? Well we know how that story played out too. The point is this team and its organization is a total joke that has too much baggage of bad Karma to overcome their dysfunctional negative vibe, or spiritual problem if you will and until Pegula wakes up from whatever spell he is under, decides to grow a pair and fire Adams, then the same results are going to continue to manifest. The Sabres don't play with intensity, or a sense of urgency like other teams around the league play with. They are lacking a play or two that can raise that level of play that becomes infectious to other players. This team is way too soft and it shows in the mounting losses this season, and this falls on Kevyn Adams.
Theyre just an absolute joke of a sports organization, and it's awful to watch. Sabres fans deserve so much better. If you're consistently buying Sabres tickets in the last decade knowing they're gonna blow, being sold false hope year after year after year and consistently losing games and top players, you've been royally screwed out of your hard earned money. Not a Sabres fan, but at least they have a good football team to watch, holy hell
Doesn't Buffalo know that they wont make the playoffs till they trade Eichel? Seriously that guy is a locker room cancer. I bet Buffalo makes the playoffs within a season of trading him 😂😂😂
Team was horribly managed for so long it’s like their 4th rebuild. This one is promising with a bunch of talented kids but there’s not enough veterns to surround them and change the culture. 6 of their forwards and 4 of their D are 24 and under and that’s a recipe for inconsistency. It’s hard to stay patient when you look at it as it being 13 years instead of the 4 that jt actually is.
Good points...4 years is a decent start at a turn around but definitely not enough time for full fledged...buffalo is not a great destination...it's true.
two words: Phil Kessel.
Get Josh Allen in as a forward
Why does Kevyn Adams sound like Ross Atkins
The Sabres don't play with intensity, or a sense of urgency like other teams around the league play with. They are lacking a play or two that can raise that level of play that becomes infectious to other players. This team is way too soft and it shows in the mounting losses this season, and this falls on Kevyn Adams.
All i hear from kevin is excuses and not owning that they have a bad culture.
You couldn't be more wrong about eichel dude. He requested a trade a year before he injured his neck man hahahahah come on now
As a Sabres fan you just don’t really care anymore
Thank you for Reino, Buffalo 😊
This roster he keeps talking about sure is crap.
Someone save Dahlin and power.
Power blows.
Always infuriating to see a GM speak to the media/fans like they are morons.
Pegula. There.
Doesn't Buffalo know that they wont make the playoffs till they trade Eichel? Seriously that guy is a locker room cancer. I bet Buffalo makes the playoffs within a season of trading him 😂😂😂
Pegula needs to sell the team! He is a cancer to this franchise.
Team was horribly managed for so long it’s like their 4th rebuild. This one is promising with a bunch of talented kids but there’s not enough veterns to surround them and change the culture. 6 of their forwards and 4 of their D are 24 and under and that’s a recipe for inconsistency. The top pairing is 24 and 23 and defensemen take longer to develop 🤦♀️ I do not understand why Adams didn’t trade for a defensive top 4 D and a top 6 veteran.
would you come to Buffalo ?
@@AAA-o4g the lack of palm trees is definitely a draw back, maybe someday it can be fixed
@@ginnyweatherbee7941 they should paint or plant some palm trees some where it can be easily seen
@@AAA-o4gdon’t worry, the fans are doing it for them
Adams needs to be fired
Cursed
The Jack Eichel trade wasnt bad wtfff
