Detroit still isn't a destination city, but the Wings were a destination franchise in the 2000's, and the Lions are currently. Why? Both teams first drafted well, developed those picks, and had home-grown success.
After the Eichel debacle i knew a lot of lifelong sabres fans who just decided to walk away... They brought all of this on themselves! Terry Pegula is an absolute joke of an owner!
If you thought this was a crucifixion (which it was), Pegula would have been far worse. This was just demoralizing to listen to as a Sabres fan. Kevyn just stood up there and said the complete opposite of what any semi-competent GM would. Nobody in WNY wants to hear the same patience crap we’ve heard for years, about the ways his job is hard, and why this isn’t a destination market. If we still have these issues, then he just sucks at his job. He’s more worried about paying kids that haven’t earned anything yet than getting premium talent on this team. 31 other owners would have pink-slipped him already.
Eichel was correct to do his surgery his way, but I don't believe Jack was captain material or that he was particularly respected in the locker room. There's a rumor that Eichel was why we lost O'Reilly.
same. I don't think I ever saw any actual Sabres fans turn on him. more or less everyone saw that the club said no to the surgery and ended up more or less on his side. It was always cowardice on the organizations side from beginning to end.

As I've explained, the problem wasn't with those acquisitions, but it's why they didn't work out (as I said, that was do to the Failure Of Ralph Krueger, as coach & not the acquisitions). I will however defend Sabre fans to the end. There was a time when the letters @BUF on your schedule meant you were headed to one of the places with the finest home ice advantage in hockey. And this organization robbed a fanbase of its team. And it’s horrible. An injustice.
There's been one independent variable involved with the Sabres this entire time. Between all thr players, staff, coaches... I wonder who that could own that responsibility 🤔
I’m a Sabres fan. 37 years running. It’s disgraceful what the organization is doing. They have the audacity to charge what they do for tickets, concessions, parking, etc and this is what they are putting out there. I won’t go back to a game until they can prove that a win isn’t a random event.

The local buffalo sports media have been under a microscope after not reporting the Diggs/Allen fight in the locker room 1 year prior to the Diggs trade away from the Bills), now they're a bit more firm with their questioning.
Everything you all said is true. The way the Jack situation played out made it look like Jack was in the wrong and the bad guy. There is an internal cap, no FA wants to come here because of the way we treat players
Eichel carried by his teammates, Allen let down by his teammates. Allen walked off the field beating KC with 13 seconds left in the game. He won, it was the defense that blew it.
The Sabres are a developmental team for the NHL. I don’t have a problem with the GM, he doesn’t have any veteran difference makers. The type of players the Sabres need don’t hit free agency or get traded and when you’re drafting 18 year old kids you don’t have more than an educated guess to work with. Josh Allen was playing Junior College football when he was 18. Good thing for the Bills the NFL Draft eligibility age is reasonable. NFL teams get immediate help in the draft, NHL teams get a kid who isn’t eligible to play in Rochester yet and is going back to Moose Jaw to play his final season of Junior Major. The Sabres are just drafting players to develop for trades and repeating the cycle… You can’t go 14 years without making the playoffs Mr. Reporter? The over/under on DraftKings is probably 20…
It’s not gmka fault. He’s drafted pretty well. Hes done his best with trades. But they can fire him and replace him and it won’t change cuz the owner will be the same
Eichel had a problem "fluffing his nose" and is NOT free from blame for the consequences of how that all played out; he never really wanted to be here, he (and our front office & ownership) chased ROR out. Jack absolutely owns a good chunk of blame for his personal conduct though.
"The team has a spiritual problem" This is a remarkable statement Why? 1. Its spot on and very close to the truth 2. I have not heard that distinction given to a sports team with as many problems as the Sabres have. The reality is, Adams was a terrible hire from the get go! He had no business being given the keys to the Kingdom with zero GM experience. I was so mad when Pegula made this decision. Sabres really need a bonafide Hockey GM who can come in and straighten out this team and put resources into the scouting department. The longer Pegula allows Adams to control the reins of this team, the worse its going to get. Going back to the spiritual problem again, even though I am Christian, I am a strong believer in karma and this team has some demons to exercise. First lets start with the a$$hole Larry Quin back in the day when the Sabres had John Muckler who essentially built the Stanley Cup teams of 90's, where Regier and Ruff took credit after running Muckler out of town. Then lets not forget the ownership problems with the Riga's fraud and the cheapness of Galisano era's. Then comes Pegula all teary eyed and nostalgic making promises to restore the wonder years of the French connection by making everyone believe that he was determined to bring Buffalo a Stanley cup. There is nothing in the present day tense to believe that this team is any closer to realizing that goal. There is a lot more drama in between the benchmarks I just laid out but that its too much to list here, so I will end this mini rant with one more example. The Sabres blew the one opportunity they had when they gave the "C" to Jack Eichel instead of Ryan O'Reilly who was on the team prior to Eichel's arrival which was essentially a slap in face to ROR. Ryan O'Reilly was a vocal leader in the locker room who ran counter to the Woke culture of the front office of the Sabres when expressing his frustrations for not making the playoffs and mismanagement of the team in general. Needless to say he ruffled a lot of feathers and so they ran him out of town as well for a song and a bird. Eichel? Well we know how that story played out too. The point is this team and its organization is a total joke that has too much baggage of bad Karma to overcome their dysfunctional negative vibe, or spiritual problem if you will and until Pegula wakes up from whatever spell he is under, decides to grow a pair and fire Adams, then the same results are going to continue to manifest. Another wasted season is too much to allow Adams to continue as GM for this team. Fire Adams! Please please please, God make it so!
The root problem is Terry Pegula, who can't hire a competent GM and can't keep his hands off the team long enough for a prospective Director of Hockey Operations to even want a job turning this franchise around Adams surely means well, he's from here, but he's clearly been in *WAY* over his head since a least 2 seasons ago when he failed to help the team break the playoff drought amidst a veritable playoff run, left the boys dangling with no help and told them to figure it out Bryson or Jokiharju alone should not have been here for more than a handful of games, yet, they're both still starting in their, what, 5th or 6th seasons? Adams just can't build a roster and can't figure anything out. Failed to weaponize the cap for assets when we had space, now his build has come up far short and is expensive. I feel worst for the genuine talent we have that's stuck here, frankly, like Dahlin, Power, poor Tuch who grew up proud of the Blue & Gold. Every Sabre is a better player on another team, which speaks to how bad this franchise is
As a senators fan I’ve found myself being impatient at times and really wanting the team to make playoffs now I just imagine sabres fans dealing with double the time without playoffs and not only dealing with a rebuild but a second retool because of mismanagement and disrespect of the franchise player. I truly feel bad for Buffalo fans and honestly the ownership and management deserve the tough questions because I’d be fed up too
Theyre just an absolute joke of a sports organization, and it's awful to watch. Sabres fans deserve so much better. If you're consistently buying Sabres tickets in the last decade knowing they're gonna blow, being sold false hope year after year after year and consistently losing games and top players, you've been royally screwed out of your hard earned money. Not a Sabres fan, but at least they have a good football team to watch, holy hell
The Eichel fiasco was the cherry on the top. Reinhardt, ROR, et al go on to win cups and The Sabres are left with high draft picks yr after yr with nothing to show for it.
they lacked forward depth when eichel was in town.. they still lack forward depth now. when eichel was in buffalo, the other team could just shut down the eichel line with reinhart, and they would win the game.
Kevyn Adams is modern day Garth Snow. A guy who never should've been GM who got thrust into the role because he was a former player. The Sabres need a young, smart guy to fix this ship because they have the pieces to figure it out, just can't do it with this crew in charge right now.
Every team in each major sport has a professional farm team. They hide it by making them either completely dysfunctional or make them decently competent, but that team never wins the big one The Sabres are the NHL's farm team.
Everything the GM said was spot on correct. Now he will have to work the phones to bring in a top 6 forward to replace guys like Quinn who stinks this year.
Kevyn Adams. The answer is that, for The 14 Years, there's been A Problem With The GMs & even when Kevyn Adams did A Decent Job, during The Jack Eichel Years, he screwed up by hiring Ralph Krueger, who had wasted Skinner, Hall, Staal & others, some of which went on to Win Stanley Cups (Eichel, Reinhardt, O'Reilly, Okposo & Others). Let me know what you think
Sabres fan here Kevyn Adams NEEDS TO GO!!!!! Ownership needs to stay the hell out of all of it, look at the Bills and their success and the ownership stays out if it and they need to do the same for the Sabres!
Look, I’m not arguing the Sabres aren’t a tire fire. But you have some of your facts wrong. Jack Eichel asked for a trade out of Buffalo before he ever even injured his neck. He is on record on spitting chicklets admitting this fact. And Buffalo did not want to trade Reinhart. He decided he wasn’t signing long term so Buffalo had no choice. Where the Sabres screwed up was not signing him long term before that. Reinhart was open to signing long term both times he signed ridge deals (of 2yrs and 1yr). Then after his 1 year bridge was up he was no longer willing to sign long term because Eichel wanted out and Buffalo was entering into yet another rebuild. That’s why fans hold no animosity toward Reinhart but do toward Eichel. Otherwise, I agree. The Sabres are a poorly run franchise for sure.
The Byrom deal; fans were duped into thinking the stack of D men, was for a powerful move to get a real REAL top scorer. Not just to load up on the same side shot Dmen, we were led to believe they must be gaining that D depth, to make a bigger move.
They've fumbled so many talented players away from mismanagement they can't be surprised nobody wants to come here. As a Sabres fan I was always on the players' side, especially Eichels. This all comes down to ownership, he refuses to spend to the cap or pay for solid talent development in the front office or behind the bench. Until this changes, the Sabres will be the laughing stock of the league.
As a diehard Sabres fan it’s ownership plain and simple, which is ironic cause of what Terry the idiot has in the bills but he can’t seem to stop ruining the Sabres
And im flooding the messages, sorry about this, but im responding as i watch... and im just some random name on youtube, perhaps...but i can say for sure,, there have been talented younger guys out WEST, who would go to Buffalo, simply because of the proximity to people in their family (ie parents, etc)..and would go to Buffalo over a place, such as, lets say Winnipeg....and there have been some trades even GMKA havent done because he is too trigger shy to make another mistake.
Blaming Adams for 14 years of no playoff is crazy. Signing players just to fill jerseys so you can so tell reporters you tried isn't a winning plan. The truth is the core isn't on the level of Toronto, Boston, Tampa and Florida. Sabres have drafted really good players, they need time. Doesn't matters what happened 10 years ago.
The Sabres have ALWAYS drafted well and had terrific guys come up through the farm system. They fumble the players development, trade/lose them in free agency and then they go and win a cup with a franchise that isn't a dumpster fire. Buffalo is the NHL's premier farm team. The organization is the biggest joke in pro sports
How does he answer that question ? That sounded like a lot of BS, when you see players gliding around, weak back check, you want changes, guess what, their not changing, once a player gets a contract and their locked in, where's the hunger, where's the accountability. Nowhere.
Kevyn Adam’s said nothing wrong in that entire press conference. I think a majority of the media were rude, condescending and had a tone of ‘I can do your job better’ It has been 13 years for the Sabres but it has only been 0:02 4 years for Adam. He took over this dumpster fire of a franchise and started building it right through the draft. Why aren’t they spending to the cap? Cap flexibility is a thing when attempting to make a trade. The next elite player on the block can find themselves in Buffalo because they may not need to retain. Those 4 young, elite level LHD took like prime assets one can use in a trade for the right player. Why over pay for a player like Skinner for the illusion of spending to the cap and trying to win? It’s stupid and it isn’t how a team is built. Firing Adam’s now is pretty much repeating pasts mistakes over and over again. This core is close. It’s hard to stay patient when you look at it as it being 13 years instead of the 4 that jt actually is.
Good points...4 years is a decent start at a turn around but definitely not enough time for full fledged...buffalo is not a great destination...it's true.
@@codyge18 Exactly. You can talk about cap flexibility and trying to build through the draft, but sooner or later, you have to start catching the future unless you want to chase it forever. Take a swing for a big name. Go after someone that might change your fortunes. If you want to play it safe, go be a bridge inspector.
Last time I checked Winnipeg has very few palm trees, but are first in the NHL. How about resigning your best players instead of trading them over and over.
You had Eichel to build around your team for the longest time and still couldn't get the job done to be a contender... Eichel got p!ssed and bailed and won a Cup elsewhere...
The Sabres don't play with intensity, or a sense of urgency like other teams around the league play with. They are lacking a player or two that can raise that level of play that becomes infectious to other players. What you guys fail to realize is that Eichel wanted out of Buffalo before the neck injury. That was just the justification that Eichel needed to save face because he basically quite on the organization and his teammates. So the neck injury was perfect timing to exit the dysfunctional organization.
Doesn't matter how Eichel felt or if he wanted out, they should of let him do w/e he wanted either way, they can't let every other player in the NHL think they will stop them from having the surgery they want which is what happened and now no one wants to go to Buffalo.
@@JoshDragRace0688 The team's medical staff wouldn't approve the procedure that Eichel wanted. The team isn't going to go against a doctor's opinion.
@@comicbookcountdown9252 A doctor obviously approved his surgery in Las Vegas so... get a 2nd opinion ffs, what a dumb excuse.
@@comicbookcountdown9252Second opinions exists for a reason. If Eichel really want a different procedure done then why not get a third opinion? If a third (and a fourth and a fifth...) doctor says Eichels procedure is dumb then you have it in black and white. Just going what your own medical staff is saying is just fueling speculation.
There is also the possibility that your medical staff is wrong.
@@Kiham80 Yes, the player can go out and get a second, third, fourth etc. opinion, but team's will almost always side with the opinion of their own medical staff. People keep wanting to find a bad guy in this situation, but there isn't one. Eichel took the chance and so far it has paid off for him, so good for him.
Am I the only one who thinks that Pegula sounds like a monster in a horror flick?
Sounds like the Italian actor whos playing the monster to me
the whole destination argument falls apart when we recall that Alexander Mogilny literally fled the USSR to play in Buffalo.
That is a strawman argument
That was 35 years ago!
The USSR during the end of the Cold war era vs literally anywhere in a first world country (let alone the United States) where are you choosing to live if given the opportunity
@mildsuffering4734 Leningrad
The sabres were in a completely different spot back then, they were regularly making the playoffs in the 80s and 90s.
Buffalo keeps losing by 1, they are close but are mentally fragile.
Sooo many 1 goal game losses!
@@Kallierig another one goal loss
@ I thought they were going to change things up and lose by 2 tonight but nope scored in the last minute 🤦♀️ typical
Lehner also had a bunch to say about the rehab staff and processes in Buffalo after Eichel escaped.
Drunk goalie, he’s a head case, injured, drunk, mentally off and spent 5 million on snakes lol…he could t stop even one penalty shot in Buffalo or a beach ball
@@CharleB-sabres Hi Terry.
@@CharleB-sabresexactly he went 7 shootouts without making a save. Probably the worst time for a Sabres fan worse than this 8 game stretch
Oh, yeah, sure, hiring your coach you had in 1997 is surely gonna fix things.
They should hire a new coach, Lindy ruff maybe
@@CantdoitWontdoit Ruff is a good coach but they hired him because New Jersey is paying his salary, not Pegula. And that’s the worst reason ever to hire a coach but it saves money. Thanks Terry.
@@erikreinhardt7955 Hiring Lindy was a PR move to make fans happy. I didn't want Lindy back as head coach; if they had made him president of hockey operations, okay.
No one else wants the job! It’s Lindy or another no name coach
@@mikephalen3162 He's a good hockey head, but he's not fit to be a head coach in 2024. POHO would be best for him like you said.
It wasn't all the cups as soon as guys left, it was that they went so far as to buy out Skinner just to still have more money than they saved from that open on the cap with no plan of doing anything with it. Adams tries to get us to believe he has every resource made available to him but everything about this team from FO structure to cap circumstances SCREAMS internal cap. Terry is a wort on this franchise, for the love of all that is holy, excise him.
My only criticism of GMKA is that he is too hesitant and precious with the cap when we need him not to be. At the same time, I don’t want him to burn money just for optics. Kevin has signed a ton of team friendly contracts, but we need a couple more experienced players in the mix. I’d love to snag Bo Horvat and Travis Konecny while moving Peterka, Quinn, Cozens and maybe Levi. I’m fine with the fact that our former guys have succeeded in other markets- I don’t think we should hoard guys who aren’t able to thrive here. We need to rebrand the organization from the inside too and make sure players who come here know they’ll be taken care of.
Moving Peterka is wild given hes the only player prospect you have that is 100% gonna be a top 6 or better player
The pegulas only care about the buffalo bills who are actually good and make the playoffs every year, that’s there main priority and to them hockey doesn’t matter you can clearly see how enthusiastic they are about the bills and how unenthusiastic they are about the Sabres
We as core fans didn't turn on Jack Eichel. He threw us under the bus before ANYTHING had happened.
I have no idea how Adams still has a job......but the same can be said with Yserman and the Yserplan.
Im a sabres fan and I NEVER turned on Eichel
Good for you. I hope there are lots of fans who look at him the same way us Leafs fans see Kessel. Sad to see him go, over the moon that he got a Cup.
@Awwscrewit i miss kessel
Same still have my eichel jersey i dont hate the young Athlete who wanted to get healthy i hate the trainwreck Organisation who sucks for 14 years
Eichel was correct to do his surgery his way, but I don't believe Jack was captain material or that he was particularly respected in the locker room. There's a rumor that Eichel was why we lost O'Reilly.
same. I don't think I ever saw any actual Sabres fans turn on him. more or less everyone saw that the club said no to the surgery and ended up more or less on his side.
It was always cowardice on the organizations side from beginning to end.
I think that Kevyn Adams is so Shell-Shocked that Hall, Staal & Others didn't pan out. As I've explained, the problem wasn't with those acquisitions, but it's why they didn't work out (as I said, that was do to the Failure Of Ralph Krueger, as coach & not the acquisitions). Let me know what you think
I think teams like the Sabres and Flames need to do is to offer some larger short term contracts.
Like they did when they signed Taylor hall?
That's what we did with Matthew Tchuk in Calgary. Didn't end well for us
I will however defend Sabre fans to the end. There was a time when the letters @BUF on your schedule meant you were headed to one of the places with the finest home ice advantage in hockey. And this organization robbed a fanbase of its team. And it’s horrible. An injustice.
Where have you gone Duane from Buffalo, our nation turns its lonely eyes to you.
He has a podcast. Two goalies one mic.
There's been one independent variable involved with the Sabres this entire time. Between all thr players, staff, coaches... I wonder who that could own that responsibility 🤔
The answer's gonna be a lot shorter if you ask "what ISN'T wrong with the Sabres?"
Sabres fan here.
I don’t disagree with anything said here. 🌴💙💛🌴
I’m a Sabres fan. 37 years running. It’s disgraceful what the organization is doing. They have the audacity to charge what they do for tickets, concessions, parking, etc and this is what they are putting out there. I won’t go back to a game until they can prove that a win isn’t a random event.
Roam hockey best Sabres channel thats out there Wayne for gm
Hahaa this response on the Necas trade is hilarious
“We tried…once, we just aren’t good at our jobs”
That first response sounds exactly like Ross Atkins of the Toronto Blue Jays.
Pegula hasnt talked to the media in 4 years. FOUR. The audacity of that man. Additionally, the bills arent a dumpster fire because they lucked into a good front office and great qb, all of that despite pegula.
He has the green light to spend any money, stop lying, Dahlin 88 million, Power 64 million, Skinner 72 million, offered suter and Parise each 110 million etc
I think the guy asking the tough questions is Mike Harrington; he was the one who sat on the Diggs/Allen fight story 1 yearp rior to that trade
Jack Eichel might be the closest thing to Josh Allen they've had in recent memory, but Eichel is no Allen. Not by a long shot.
You’re right, Eichel is a champion. Lmao
🏝🏝 are the answer
The root problem is Terry Pegula, who can't hire a competent GM and can't keep his hands off the team long enough for a prospective Director of Hockey Operations to even want a job turning this franchise around
Adams surely means well, he's from here, but he's clearly been in *WAY* over his head since a least 2 seasons ago when he failed to help the team break the playoff drought amidst a veritable playoff run, left the boys dangling with no help and told them to figure it out
Bryson or Jokiharju alone should not have been here for more than a handful of games, yet, they're both still starting in their, what, 5th or 6th seasons? Adams just can't build a roster and can't figure anything out. Failed to weaponize the cap for assets when we had space, now his build has come up far short and is expensive.
I feel worst for the genuine talent we have that's stuck here, frankly, like Dahlin, Power, poor Tuch who grew up proud of the Blue & Gold.
Every Sabre is a better player on another team, which speaks to how bad this franchise is
Thinking about the comments Bown Byram made after being traded from colorado...
1:18 Giles Martin has gone back and remixed a lot of classic Beatles albums. They sound 1,000,000 times better
Get Josh Allen in as a forward
easy answers the ownership group cares more about owning the bill and only hang on to the sabers so they don’t move
As a senators fan I’ve found myself being impatient at times and really wanting the team to make playoffs now I just imagine sabres fans dealing with double the time without playoffs and not only dealing with a rebuild but a second retool because of mismanagement and disrespect of the franchise player. I truly feel bad for Buffalo fans and honestly the ownership and management deserve the tough questions because I’d be fed up too
I think if someone tried to make aa video with the title "Whats right with the Buffalo Sabres" it would be a very short video.
Steve would pause the Star Wars title crawl
Nashville saying....."Hold my beer!"
How can this front office have 0 urgency to fix the issues right now
Theyre just an absolute joke of a sports organization, and it's awful to watch.
Mike Harrington is the reporter. He’s got a rep, deservedly so. But he voices fan’s frustration.
The Eichel fiasco was the cherry on the top. Reinhardt, ROR, et al go on to win cups and The Sabres are left with high draft picks yr after yr with nothing to show for it.
Why does Kevyn Adams sound like Ross Atkins
They’re the Pittsburgh Pirates of hockey. I say this as a Pens fan too :(
they lacked forward depth when eichel was in town.. they still lack forward depth now. when eichel was in buffalo, the other team could just shut down the eichel line with reinhart, and they would win the game.
Ownership only cares about the Bills, Sabres are a total afterthought. Hockey clubs are an asset rising in value so Pagula might sell, but who knows.
1970 expansion teams have been cursed but at least Vancouver has had some success.
Kevyn Adams is modern day Garth Snow. A guy who never should've been GM who got thrust into the role because he was a former player. The Sabres need a young, smart guy to fix this ship because they have the pieces to figure it out, just can't do it with this crew in charge right now.
Pegula is spending 2.1 billion on the new Bill stadium. He’s keeping Adam’s on a tight leash spending wise. That’s gotta be the problem
Every team in each major sport has a professional farm team. They hide it by making them either completely dysfunctional or make them decently competent, but that team never wins the big one The Sabres are the NHL's farm team.
sad how this happens to the team with one of the coolest jersey and logo design in the nhl
After the comments hes made i say either he goes or i am
Sabres fan here Kevyn Adams NEEDS TO GO!!!!! Ownership needs to stay the hell out of all of it, look at the Bills and their success and the ownership stays out if it and they need to do the same for the Sabres!
I dont know what that reporter looks like, but I'm just picturing the chad face meme as I listen to what he says.
I was so happy when my hometown guy Eichel left that mess of a franchise
Blame the Pegula's
Pro sports teams are a hobby for the ownership so I am not surprised having a good team is not a priority.
As a Sabres fan you just don’t really care anymore
You couldn't be more wrong about eichel dude. He requested a trade a year before he injured his neck man hahahahah come on now
Sabres fan since day one living in Las Vegas. Thanks for Eichel and the Stanley Cup Pegula.
They had Jack Eik
Imagine if they had this d core when they had eichel, o reilly, reinhart, rodrigues. Etc.
this D is lost
Eichel was NOT McDavid, and NOwhere near a josh allen... sorry boyz
Someone save Dahlin and power.
Power blows.
I think a majority of the media were rude, condescending and had a tone of ‘I can do your job better’
It has been 13 years for the Sabres but it has only been 0:02 4 years for Adam.
The reporters accurately represented the attitude of the fans. Cap flexibility doesnt matter if you never use it
P
@@codyge18 Exactly. You can talk about cap flexibility and trying to build through the draft, but sooner or later, you have to start catching the future unless you want to chase it forever. Take a swing for a big name. Go after someone that might change your fortunes. If you want to play it safe, go be a bridge inspector.
And then tonight... the loss against the canadiens... The Canadiens are streaky and everything... but like... OUCH.
Last time I checked Winnipeg has very few palm trees, but are first in the NHL. How about resigning your best players instead of trading them over and over.
Remember "Hockey Heaven"? LOL
Not sure Id trust Arams to tun a mini yolf course at the hus point
100% ownership has this guy's hands tied
"Better than they were last year" however much worse then they were 2 seasons ago when they missed the playoffs by 1 ot loss
You had Eichel to build around your team for the longest time and still couldn't get the job done to be a contender...
Eichel got p!ssed and bailed and won a Cup elsewhere...
Pegula needs to sell the team! He is a cancer to this franchise.
The Sabres don't play with intensity, or a sense of urgency like other teams around the league play with. They are lacking a player or two that can raise that level of play that becomes infectious to other players. This team is way too soft and it shows in the mounting losses this season, and this falls on Kevyn Adams.
