I have Cherokee and Sioux blood in me. We believe that all life is sentient in different ways and are all related. So I talk to all my relatives from time to time.

Relaxing, fun camping video with your humor as always. Had lots of laughs with this. Just blame it on the " gassy dogman"😂 Like your reviews of different equipment. Been watching your past camping videos and enjoy them
Dear Allan, Thank you very much for your approval to Sunblesa's bivvy light! Very interested video! Sunblesa present remote for bivvy/camping light is same as some car's remote. If you attend tent party, easily to find the tent postion.Keyring hole, you can wear it to avoid lost. Best regards Gavin Sunblesa
Hiya lads, good to see you both again. Loved the banter about bigfoot and footsteps round the tent 😂 I have the original bivvy light and happy with it, also Gavin sent me the H11 headtorch (gen1 and 2) I didn't really think I'd use the green light but find myself using it most of all, really good for around camp. Also agree with you about the jungle bag, really good bit of kit for the warmer months. Have fun and take care 👍
Great video, Most enjoyable! I had a good laugh between you and Mark going on about Bigfoot, and Captain Drama barely escaping the woodlands once again! 🤣. When you film your camping trips, it’s almost as if I’m sitting in a chair alongside you (and Mark), and I’m in on the fun. (thankfully, from a safe distance when you eat curry!) Already looking forward to next weeks video.
Late to the scene in coming across this video, but so glad I did, as I very much enjoyed it. Especially the bit about talking to trees, as we are quite kindred in that respect. While there are no Redwoods here where I live in Indiana, we are fortunate to have some old growth timber still standing in our woods. The ash are all gone now after being destroyed by the Emerald Ash Borer. One of those trees was estimated to be over 175 years old. It’s been reduced to an enormous stump now. On the positive side; lots of “firewood” falling and lying around. I continue to believe that trees could teach us a lot of valuable lessons about life (and death) if we’d just pay close enough attention to how they go about their own business…. I told my husband, if I had been a Native American, I think my name would have been “Wind in Trees”. He laughed and said, “Yep, I can see that. And my name would have been ‘Wind in Pants’!” 🤣 I read a book some years ago that you might enjoy if you’re not already familiar with it. “The Hidden Life of Trees “ by Peter Wohlleben. He also wrote “The Secret Wisdom of Nature. Both are excellent and insightful works. Best to you from an old lady who also talks to trees. 😊
Thanks for that lovely comment. I have some very old ones in my area. I am down on the SE coast in East Sussex. Many old Yew trees, one locally was recorded in the history of the Battle of Hastings, so its almost a thousand years old. Shocking thing is the is one in the woods I camp in that is twice the size, who knows how old that one is. All I can say is that its about 16 paces around the base as far as I remember, I did it in a video once. Regards Allan (Jim-Bob)
I will have to try to find your video then, as I would love to see that yew tree. ( My Finch family is from Essex and came to the US in 1630 aboard the Arabella of the Winthrop Fleet). There are methods to calculate the age of a tree based on diameter at breast height and the species’ specific “growth factor”, but the Yew is one of those exceptions because of its irregular growth rate over time. (You may have already known that). But a very crude estimate could be made by taking the diameter of the tree at breast height (circumference x 3.14) and dividing that number by the average annual growth rate of a Yew tree which is 0.7 cm. per year. That should put you somewhere close to determining the age. Would be rather fun to know approximately how old it turns out to be. 😊
@@HuntCreekBushcraft I will try to find the video for you, but I do have about 700 on the channel. Give me a few minutes and I will give you a link. 👍👍

Cracking video as always, I speak to trees and the plants tbf, being a naturalistic pagan, I believe all things are sentient beings, always a good laugh your videos, cool bivvy light, need to get one for my night fishing really, good health and safe travels my friend, cheers craig
You're right about all those channels with bigfoot sightings or paranormal themes. Lots of views, but not much sense. Down here in Australia we have Yowie's rather than bigfoot - same thing, different continent. A few channels seem to have done well out of it. There are also some dedicated to the Tasmanian tiger - a large marsupial predator which is probably extent. Those guys do well too. Maybe you should have a bigfoot sighting while wild swimming in some fetching swimwear on a roundabout? You've got a good channel - love what you are doing now. Cheers.
You're right to show respect to Big Red, we should respect every living thing. I enjoyed that vid. Mr Fox did well 🥘 ☺️ Keep talking to trees, it's normal... Have to say that as neighbour caught me saying 'Good night' to my tomato plants 🫣
Great video, especially your 'extreme' imitations of some UA-camrs click-bait headlines. At least we assume they are click-bait and not actual belief....🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Take care, Helen and Katarin Juska-Law, Stella and Terri with Robyn.
Although you forgot to mention it you could see the net working really well as soon as u put it over the tent, the inside got a lot darker, bloody brilliant idea 😊 loving the fallen tree, is there room to sit and have a brew on it? And that light looks great, thought omg that's huge when I saw it but with that kinda battery power I can see why. Great vid chap 😊
If you can use some light branching to elevate the scrim off the tent it'll help with airflow/insulation and also the scrims solid bits will cast a shadow, potentially making it darker inside. In stealth elf mode it breaks up your shape as well. Double up/scrag it up in places and you should be living la vida snoozo. 😂
Love your sense of humor!! Did the camo netting help turn down some morning sunlight? Apologies if you already answered that in your content and I missed it.
If you're going to worship something, it's far better to worship things you can prove the existence of, such as the Sun or that big ol' tree. Worshipping those Sky Gods is so overrated IMO.
Two blokes in the woods drinking beer is perfectly fine with me. You two are always interesting even without any big drama!
Thanks for that. 👍

Your love and respect for nature fills my heart
I have been good and bad in the past, now I just enjoy my surroundings.
I appreciate your respect of nature.
Cheers, Alan.
Many thanks
Great video ,respect to the trees👍

You are very welcome Gavin. Its a great light and thank you for giving me the opportunity to test it.
Great video as always thank you JB!
My pleasure!!
I talk to plants. Houseplants, those in my garden, trees… your voice creates vibrations that can be felt. That big old tree knows you!
Love that!

Top video. A blackout eye mask is another good way of getting an extra hour or two’s sleep after sunrise 👍🏻
Yep, that would help too. 👍
Hi Jimbob nothing wrong in speaking to trees 😊 my friend speaks to them all the time! 😊💝🏴🇬🇧 Xxxx
At least they don't argue with you. 😁
Nothing wrong with talking to a tree. I have one in my local woods, been saying "hello" to him for the last 40yrs.
Glad I am not the only one. 😁
I love it, I havea my own mountain but big foot matched my steps
😉
Really enjoyed this video!
Glad you enjoyed it! Didn't take it too seriously. 😁
Was surprised to see a redwood in the UK. Beautiful tree, I'd say hi to it as well. 😅
This a old Victorian estate, lots of things that don't belong. 😁
Apparently more redwoods in UK than California 😮
took that mss bivi out last night.. only had a cheap fleece sb liner in it.. i melted ended up laid on top of it half night watchin moon float by..
They do hold in a lot of heat.

Thanks for the support. I just get out and have fun. Its more about the camping than doing UA-cam. 😁
Just wanted to say hey and your sticker on your car is working! We saw it at Tintagel and went to check out your channel :)
Awesome! Thank you! I am in Cornwall for the week. Long drive back to East Sussex on Saturday. 😒

Some people will do anything for views. 😂
You are very tall for a woodland nymph…if you put up a ridge line then put on the camouflage it will keep your tent cooler too…Have fun stay safe.
Its my nickname from Kate. Magical, but a bit naughty. 😉

Yes I agree, to be honest I was not in the mood to do much. 😁
Nice video. Loved the conversation about over dramatic youtubers.
This was a rare occasion when it was still "YT friendly" Its a topic of conversation that often comes up. 😂
I watch you all but i really enjoy your videos. Keep up the good work if you can call it that! 😅
Thanks mate, its just a bit of fun to do while camping. The likes of me will never be big on UA-cam. 😂
Angry trees for ya😂
😂👍
I thank the Trees I hang my hammock off in the morning. On my last hang I was almost attacked by a gang of 50 Muntjac 🤔
The Muntjac are funny looking buggers.
That fox will have super powers like a skunk after that curry
I know I did, as will be seen on Marc video. 😂
Great job on the video bud
Glad you enjoyed. 👍
Bigfoot does exist!!!!..Talking to trees is actually good luck!!!❤
I always say hello to Big Red on the way in, and a see you next week on the way out.
Marky wanted to load "light"?????...........really???.....lol
😂

Yes it does. I have done it in the past with the netting over the bug net of my hammock. ua-cam.com/video/rmTrDwZm_co/v-deo.htmlsi=rWy2ETkKx9Sx6nUk
