EDIT: I'm too lazy to fix the lyrics for this XD So it will have to have it's wrong meanings and such at it's places :P
I did this for a work in my English class where we should choose 1 artist and 1 song of that artist and talk about. And we had to have lyrics to the song and since I couldn't find the lyrics ANYWHERE I tried to hear it myself :P Now, I need some help with what he is singing and such ;) So if you can hear anything that is wrong then please comment ;)

I can't believe Simon invented Left and Right.
"left right left" is something shouted while soldiers are marching, to make sure that everyone is keeping pace. That's how a group of soldiers manage to keep in sync when walking, because the Sargeant will yell "Left right left!" signaling them to move their left, right, then left foot on his mark.

Damn. This is the first time I've come across a dance-like song that deals with politics. Kind of funny because instrumentally it sounds like it could be a really heavy, intense, sexy song, but the lyrics say different.
Listen to the lyrics again and you might think something else ;)

Centrifuge spins stuff around and pushes it away from the center. He could be using it metaphorically.. Like most people's focus being drawn away from actions that heavily affect the country by smaller events getting the media's attention.

Np it doesnt make sense to change hypocracy/democracy to me but alright. To me turn up the mic basicly means that media shouldnt be censored. Everything you hear on the radio or on tv or the news is what the goverment or certain groups WANT us to hear. People also want to controle the internet but as of yet they are only able to in moderation. It's not 'Centrifuge' (the whole washing machine thing) or fudge... its 'Subterfuge' which means 'the use of clever underhanded actions to achieve an end' which fits the song

"Turn off the mic": "Turn up the mic".
"Give a little reason to the sounds of fudge": "Hear a little reason through the sons of..." (I don't want to say the word out loud)
"Out of the media" sounds more like "Alert the media".
"Sounds of fudge" "don't every decadence" ... I really dont want to hurt your feelings but it might have helped getting the lyrics correct if you just looked at what you wrote and made sure it made sense.
