I love their fisrt EP. It was very hardcore and almost deathcore esc. But when they changed their sound to more of this type shoegaze stuff... I absolutely fell in love with Modern Color.

I hear indie, I hear shoegaze, I hear a generous twist of D.C. post-hardcore. This band brings the goods. I wish them a long and joyous tenure.

They are. Their influences are in both genres. If you like them check out Title Fight, these guys wouldn’t exist without them
