Hello to all of my QuickBooks fans using the multi-currency feature in QuickBooks Online!! This QuickBooks Online training tutorial will show you how to record receiving international, overseas payments from customers and clients when a fee for either the transfer or currency exchange because the payment was in a non-home currency. Regardless of any gain or loss from the conversion of the foreign currency to dollars, the transfer fee can be recorded in undeposited funds, even if the money is directly deposited on payment date. I hope you will click “like” on any video that helped you and I hope you will subscribe! -Mark

Hello- Thank you for posting this video it has been very helpful. We have the same scenario except the bank fee is in USD. Our scenario: We are US Based, our customer requires CAD invoices. Customer sends payment via an intermediary bank which converts the payment to USD and charges a $15 fee in USD, then the payment is received in our bank account. How would we record the $15 fee in USD? Thank you
There's another video in the playlist that shows how to do it when the fees are in u.s. dollars instead of the foreign currency If you click the top right of the video or open the description field for the video you will see a link to the entire playlist of this topic and one of those videos shows you how to do it the way that you need If you really want to understand what's going on you'll watch the entire playlist in order I'm happy to help everyone for free and I hope you will remember to click like after watching each one because that will support the channel and help me give free help to others and more help to you I also hope you will subscribe
