The play where it was red ranger or blue ranger. He attacks first with 5 don incase of a trigger to play blue ranger. If no trigger I think applying the 7k body rush pressure is more valuable
raw drop niji is a much better play instead of ichiji since you can contest with hody next turn also the guy keep baiting blast breath with one don up even though he could have swing for 6k in two turns
But my thing is that playing Niji, you lose to Izo since your hand is so small. You play Ichiji, you have to swing face with your characters (5k-5k-7k-7k) because no way your survive next turn.
Way to spoil the match... Although I guess I should've known better than to glance down at the comment section while watching this... 😮💨 Also, to be fair, the Reiju player made more than a few misplays IMO. I feel like this match has a lot more to do with that than it does about Yamato's perceived power...
@@atrocioustcg no the reiju player didn’t play his ichiji the turn before the Yamato player swung 9. The reiju player lost this game the Yamato player didn’t win but the Reiju player doesn’t know how to play against this deck which is tragic to watch. Just flood the board, the Yamato player can’t just keep swinging life, they’ll die it’s really simple actually. An if your worried about the amount of cards in hand, then play pudding….. Simple.
The reiju looked like they had no clue how to play that deck. Wasting so much time on turns lol. He should have just taken the second swing on life from Yamato
It never made OnePieceTopDecks.com, but personally I like this list: onepiecetopdecks.com/deck-list/jp-format-op-06-twin-champions-decks/deckgen/?dn=Yamato&date=1/6/2024&cn=Japan&au=Yuki&pl=1st%20Place&tn=3on3&hs=Machida%20Cup(96)&dg=1nOP06-022a4nOP03-108a4nOP05-101a4nOP05-105a4nOP05-106a4nOP05-110a4nOP06-101a4nOP06-104a2n%08ST13-011a4nOP01-033a2nOP06-118a2nOP06-023a4nOP06-035a4nST12-003a2nOP05-114a2nOP05-115&cs=208
This could’ve been a ez win for Reiju player the guy didn’t play properly. There’s no trigger in current Yamato list that doesn’t benefit from your opponent being at 3 life and getting a free trigger it’s why if you go the aggressive pitch route you’re basically telling your opponent “I have reijus, stop just swinging with a big number and start playing the board” it’s why if the Reiju player grabbed a blocker instead of the 5 drop he would’ve been better off later you search so much in this deck that it’s insane. Blockers just naturally shit on Yamato’s strategy it’s why R/G law takes a fat dump on that deck if you play it that way you gotta pay 3 damn don for a Izo to ATTEMPT to get by lmao that Yamato deck list is bad. You’ll realize that when you play any deck with blockers lol
As long as you have blockers though, I actually like it when they do that as it prevents them from building up any sort of board which almost always bites them in the ass later on.

I was curious if triggers influenced the decision since Yamato is a yellow deck, good point
Hody Jones turned into a cowboy today. HOWDY 🤠
Lol that's what I came down here to comment about. I can't tell if he actually thinks it's Howdy though or if it's just a joke 😅
Listen I’m not that far in the anime 😭 to be honest though I personally like how I’ve called it, fun to say 💀💀💀💀
@@atrocioustcg its ok, that's his new name now. start the trend.
@@atrocioustcg To be fair his card is far better than he ever is in the anime.

The yamato player only played 1 character the entire game and still won. Yeah I'm not rooting for that deck
It’s really weird. It was also a point though that if Yamato didn’t win, they’d lose next turn. I think for Yamato it’s all about the starting hand.
I’m very torn between playing Yamato, I just feel sooooo cheesy just swinging face. It’s fun to win but it’s also fun to actually play the game lol
@@StrawhatSkinny I think I might spend time at first playing something easier to build, then when Hody prices calm down I’ll play it a little

Atrocious blessing with the content
Thank you thank you, I try to make stuff in my spare time 🥹
Yea people gonna want Yamato banned. All of my Pre-releases were yamato and it was just awful to play against.
Yamato is actually insane in op06 prerelease, not really any blockers in format. In regular events tho, it gets checked by itself with not seeing Hody
I went 5-0 against yamatos at my pre releases I saw it as a draw 2 and established my board when they barely had anything on board
My pre-release was full of green kid players. Extra life and extra attack is just better than Yamato
Its not a tier 0 deck lol you'll quickly learn how to play vs yama

Those "all don on leader attack yamatos" are going to be so boring to play agaisnt u.u
